Find number 14250 at 11:06:29am on Monday the 30 September 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Well, WA Goes Big is done for another year and we are on our way home again now, via Perth, Kalgoorlie and the Nullarbor but slowly over the next five weeks Today we headed into the center of Perth again to do some more geocaching and have a propper wander around Kings Park.Wow, wow, wow, what a magnificent location. An a nice hide as well!**Thanks for placing this cache Gumnut6160**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 58 - Swan Valley Perth Day 3. After two days of local area caching, I headed further afield to try and cross off some more counties. It seems I just missed one while I was in Fremantle, so back I go to East Fremantle, Mosman Park and Cottesloe. It was a fanatically sunny clear day and very park and beach side spot was busy with people waling and seeing the sights. I started with some tough caches, struggled to find lunch rather than caches and did a few labs late in the afternoon. It was a much longer day and I gave the fourth county a skip for another day. Home for a van cooked meal before heading into the city on the train tomorrow.I spent quite a bit of time here, but I did not identify the supposedly sneaky hide. Oh well. Thanks.Albida
Very sneaky and a lovely urban Hide in a quiet location. There was no one else around and after a while, we noticed something that was just a little different to other things that were around us.Investigating that, we soon had our name in the log. Thanks Gumnut6160Domsky
Such a good hide. 3rd attempt, we searched so thoroughly, racked our brains. Had dreams where we thought it might be and alas! We cheered as a family when we found it! Thank you @gumnut6160. This ones a favorite
Nice hide. Found it quick this time but spent a rather long time here a fee years back with no success TFTC
Great cache and craftsmanship. Forgot pen, so photo log and will be back tmrw with a pen. TFTH
Was expecting to fight the multitude of spiders taking residence but surprisingly I had the cache I hand without disrupting any critters.
Nifty hide that I love!

Wow... that was very clever. Managed to put my hand on it very quickly. Another FP coming your way
Had to drop stuff on on Freo so random dropped in here while walking fluffs.

Woohoo I found it after 20mins of looking. Great creative cache! Thanks for the hints everyone
TFTC, caching with WayneO and DAT87. Didn’t take us too long to find this one in its very clever hiding place.
Very creative as always from Gumnut, well done! A gorgeous little park and Ajay enjoyed a swim while we searched and searched and searched. TFTC
Wet log within cache replaced.
I did forget to look for and remove this sistema that is apparently there.
If anyone finds it can they please remove it for me.
Thanks

The cache is NOT a sistema, it is a camo micro as stated.

Found systema container but no micro or log. Put in signed paper for next finder. Put back.
Nice camo here that blended in well to surrounds.
Log was damp but able to write name on log. Otherwise cache is in good condition. Tftc

A very nicely crafter container that fits extremely well into its surrounds. It took a couple of scans of the area to spot the hide and I was very impressed with the the creation and the matching finishing touch at GZ. Well done... [^]
On retrieval of the log, I was unable to write on it due to it being saturated. I snapped a pic for the CO if they want confirmation of the find, then tucked everything back as found.
The log needs replacing as it is too wet to be usable. Otherwise, the cache is all fine. A favourite point from me for the craftsmanship.
Cheers Gumnut6160.

If the green string was part of the cache then that’s all that’s left of it and needs maintainence cheers
I enjoyed the area and the kids enjoyed watching leaves float down the water.
Started the search and observed some thing that didn’t match the rest of the structure and started to investigate but was stymied at the first attempt, changed location and searched again and this time extracted the cache.
After signing it took a bit to get it back in place properly as some leaf litter has fallen in the way but got there in the end.

Grabbed the geo-twins and SirFancy headed up towards Fremantle for a run around this afternoon enjoying the sunshine and a bunch of great caches.
Pleased with our efforts we finished the day with 6 finds and 0 DNF’s.

My muggle friend grabbed it. I put it back, not knowing. Soon they had it again and showed me the cache.

YESSS, first ever one i found all by myself. Thankyou Gumnut for giving me multiple sets of hints across multiple attempts haha- I’m still so proud. V cleverly hidden.
Look I unfortunately didn’t find it but this IS my first rodeo. Had fun anyway <3
Our and about caching for the afternoon. Quick find here after a frustrating search for previous hide.
Thanks for the hide
Thanks for the hide
On the way to Bicton for cache maintenance and could not resist stopping here. Cache was found after a small search, log wet but powertank pen was good. TFTC and a FP for creative cache and a park with special memories.
Turning this frown upside down with a surprising quick find clever little hide. TFTC
Went for a walk as a cheeky little break from working from home and while the sun was briefly out. Wasn’t intending to cache but once I found myself at merv Cowan park and near a cache that had bested me before, I couldn’t resist but to search for it and blow a quick work break out into a full blown “clear your calendar, ignore your work calls until the cache is found” type setup.
Pushing the limits of what a break from work should be during a brief respite from the rainy weather paid off as we found this cache! It was well worth getting rained on during the walk home and having to chair a video conference while cold and wet. TFTC

Awesome cache!! TFTC. I searched for about 15 minutes looking for a smaller camo. Once I stopped and glanced at the area from a bit further away I seen something not quite right... it wasn’t it but a great decoy. That lead me to the actual cache. Well done on a great camo build. Very creative. And thanks for bringing me to this amazing little hidden gem of a park for the first time. A FP from me
On the drive back from caching at Woodman Point. Had time for one more so stopped in East Fremantle. it took about 10 minutes of searching to find the cache. A great job, and a good place to visit. Thanks Gumnut6160
The Better Half and I brought our son down to Fremantle for a second appointment today so did some more caching until he was ready to be picked up again.
Cache found without problems. Log signed and cache returned as found.

We were invited for a birthday lunch at friends living nearby. After having eaten too much of all the seafood we thought we needed some exercise before hitting the road again. And here was a nice little park with some great views. We slowly approached GZ where we examined the area. It took a little while before it sank in and Geo misses made the discovery. Great cache, great hide great camo. Well worth a favourite. TFTC Gumnut6160
Great cache, and I was lucky to find it as quickly as I did. Would recommend bringing tweezers for the log. TFTC
In the area for some meetings. Such a nice day, and took the opportunity to grab a few caches in the area.
Fantastic view, and clever camo

Out for a few hours of caching and getting in a bit of exercise at the same time.
I stopped here for lunch and sat down and enjoyed the view while munching on my sandwiches. When I was finished I wandered over to grab this one.
It didn't take too long to locate the cleverly hidden cache.
Well done, a favourite from me.

I had put off ticking off calendar days this year due to COVID; but I’ve now decided that I need to start ticking them off again, despite my busy work and uni schedules. I tried for the Nth Freo ones, but a bloke was fishing at one, so I came here instead.
A quick find at the first thing I tried... but that isn’t to say that it wasn’t excellent camo! It was just brilliant. So for that I’ll be awarding a favourite.
Cheers Gumnut6160! I found your cache today (Monday 11/5/20 at 20:52).

This was our last one for the day as we had some urgent shopping to do. Arrive at the mentioned structure and did a quick reconnaissance and spotted what we thought was the probably the cache. No, but an excellent decoy that led us to the real thing. Very well done. Great location and ingenious camo. A fave. TFTC
Great craftsmanship and very sneaky. A well deserved FP here.
TFTC Gumnut6160 this is find # 9566 for us.

What a beautiful little park. Brought along a local friend who didn’t know it existed so thank you for bringing us here. Very clever hide TFTC
Our morning's Iso exercise had us in the vicinity this morning so it was a pleasure to seek out this Gumnut6160 cache. No doubt about it; it's a ripper and well deserved of another FP. Thanks for all of your work setting this baby up.
Brilliant cache. We have to think this is one of the better ones we have found. Please place more we enjoyed finding it.
We checked one place and noticed something but while Pat examined it Lyn found the real cache.
The only criticism is maybe you need a bigger auger. No need to go a micro here but then that just Symantecs.
We gave this one a rare favorite.

An amazing spot to drop into whilst the sun set over the harbour.
Have found the previous multi in the same park, an amazing location and glad to see a neat new camouflage cache here.
Enjoying your hides Gumnut. Hope to see more of them once this virus stuff is over.
I’ve added a FP
