Caching in the area we pick up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Enjoyed exploring the area, cache and contents were in good condition.

On our Australian trip we stayed at the campground for one night. In the morning I walked along the beach to find this cache. After finding the first one that one was much easier.

Fabulous hide, FP for the camo. Coongoola & Geodog are on an adventure after attending the Townsville Mega event in Qld. We found your cache today 10 May 2022 12:41 pm , while enjoying another day out adding to our tally. TFTC alphag_25
Making our way along the coast line today. Stephyy was all over this one. Tftc alphag_25 ️
A lovely walk to this sneaky one with Stephyy and jodsta83. Stephyy spotted the prize and I tried it but dismissed it. She followed up behind me and worked it out haha. I’m such a loser!
Thanks for the cache, alphag_25
Thanks for the cache, alphag_25
By this point Swearah, jodsta83 and I knew what we would be looking for but was still ended up being thrown off by this one. But I ended up making the find. Thanks for the cache
This was our second find with the first one making it much easier. It was difficult to extract so we knew to just to try a bit harder. We continue down to the beach as the rain had paused for a moment. There was a single person visible on the whole entire expanse of beach. TFTC alphag_25
Anothet great hide with spidey geo caching skills required.....like a thunderbolt it hit me as to where it was located!

I’d had worked out where this one on a walk before but thought I needed a tool to extract. Turned up today equipped but found all I needed was my bare hands.

Took a while, very well hidden, but we got there in the end.
Today we have paired up with Temingi for an assault on as many caches north of Mackay that we can fit into the day. Armed with multiple navigating devices, iPads and iPhones galore, bits of paper, clipboards and a huge pile of TOTT’s we are hopeful that no caches escape our three sets of eagle eyes. We even remembered to bring a few spare pens!
Thanks to all the local owners who have developed, placed and maintained these caches. We known how much effort it takes, and we really do appreciate it. Without you we would not be able to participate in this wonderful, frustrating, enjoyable and challenging pastime.

Found it! Only because we have found others in the series and knew what to roughly look for
With overseas travel currently out of the question and state border closures still a lurking as possibilities, my family and some close friends decided that travelling from Brisbane to North Queensland was our best option for a Christmas/New Year escape.
Following a few nights each in Clifton Beach and Port Douglas we were now on the southwards run towards home with a stop planned at Cape Hillsborough for a couple of nights.
Unfortunately the weather here was not very accommodating with heavy rain falling most of time since arriving. I decided to head off to Mackay for a day of caching, where the weather was forecast to be a little less wet.
Some recent experience on another cache clued me in on what to look for and sure enough I spotted what I was looking for. Noting that others had required a tool I returned to the car to grab my tool and headed back to GZ. In the end the tool wasn't really required but when I extracted the cache hide there was no cache to be found. It was obvious that this was where it was meant to be and for the life of me I could not work out how it could be missing. I had decided this was going to be a DNF, popped the tool in my pocket and walked back to the car. As I put the tool back in my toolbox I saw that the cache had actually stuck to the tool and survived the trip back to the car in my pocket! Why it hadn't fallen off to the ground at GZ or on the walk back I'll never know. After signing the logbook I hurried back to GZ to replace it in its rightful hide. TFTC

On our homeward journey from Townsville: Day 22 with hatzofff, grannysmith1947 and Snickersallan.
Catch up for a few off the highway which we missed in the forward journey as we ran out of time.
After finding what we thought was the hide we managed to get a TOTT and some muscle power to enable us to sign the log. Great hide - I'll award one of my favourite points.
Log signed and cache replaced as found on December 18, 2020. TFTC alphag_25

Day 22 and the start of our return road trip home from Townsville to the Gold Coast with hatzofff, grannysmith1947 and RoddyC.
We did a detour off the highway as we had targeted a few caches in this area which we ran out of time to do on our previous visit whilst heading north.
After finding what we thought was the hide we managed to get a ToT and some muscle power to enable us to sign the log. Great hide and a favourite point from me, well done CO.

A beautiful location and a good hide very tricky caching with Team JLBL. Thanks
A quick find after work.
Similar to a nearby hide so I had an idea what to look for.
Nice shady spot with no muggles to be seen.
