Reading the comments, we were pretty sure we were in the right spot, but no find.
A beautiful day to be wandering around the red zone. Quick find, right where we expected. Log book is very wet, hard to write on.
Luckily we started here, so found the loop track, rather than having to zigzag around the roads. The log is very wet and slimy - pretty awful. It needs a new log and bag, and probably even some oil or something on the hinges and latches to keep the outer container going. TFTC.
Quick easy find on a beautiful day. We didn't sign the log as it was too waterlogged and slimy, probably needs replacing.

A window of opportunity mid morning for a little bit of caching. Not enough time for the whole loop here but contented myself with half. Quirky wee hide...tin full of ants, gave them the hurry up. Log book pretty wet here too. Cheers.
Got the bike out and ride around the red zone. Wired to think this was all housing not that long ago! Thanks for the opportunity to visit.
Love the container with this one & nice and easy with afew things to trade. Tftc
Spotted from the distance, the container is a bit damaged (rusted), but still protecting its content. This concludes our trip through the red zone for this afternoon, little one had fun playing with sticks, running around and finding a few caches. Given we are still at level 3, we used hand sanitiser before and touching the container. Thanks for the hide and the maintenance.
Up in Christchurch with BCD who has a LandSR training course today so that leaves me with a day to cache yayyyyy
Was heading over to New Brighton and as I was driving along Queen Elizabeth Drive I decided on a slight change of plan - as geocachers do!!
I haven't been in this area (now the Red Zone) for quite some time...since there were houses and people and families living here.
Nice quick find TFTC

Biked a good chunk of Te Aro Ōtākaro Avon Trail today, with quite a bit of time spent in the residential red zone in the Burwood area. Picked up 20 caches in the process. This was a reasonably quick find. #3978. TFTC.
Day #8 of my Geotour.
On my way home later but first a whole bunch of "must do's" to find in the city and points north.
I needed a few numbers before I left town to complete a Challenge cache. This seemed like a good area to get the bike out and go for a ride.
It;s really weird cycling around where houses and fences used to be.

Out on my first caching mission for a looooong time! Caught up with Z-master for a spot of hunting. Signed as Becs and Z. #28 for the day. TFTC
A call from Becsicasa last night who had remembered her password and wanted to go for a bit of a mission. I'm always keen for a bit of a mission, and we hadn't seen each other for a few years so was good to catch up and collect a few smurfs and then on to tidy up one of the red zones.
Signed as Becs&Z. TFTC Brodiewill, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 25 find(s) of 29 today, making this find #2703
