This was one of two caches that was on the top of my “to do” list for the day…
I’ve actually been here once before and decided it wasn’t for me… it’s a new day though and so down I went…
Being prepared I’d worn old shoes, so wasn’t upset when I sank to my ankle once on the way to GZ… I did pull up short though… there’s a number of motion activated cameras set up around GZ…
The need to find the cache outweighed my embarrassment about being recorded scurrying into a culvert…
I spent about almost an hour here… After checking all three spaces several times and even with the headlamp I resorted to a PAF where I got very specific info…
Unfortunately I failed to find the cache… I’m not sure what the owners of the cameras will make of my antics, but there’s so many shots of me, some of which I’m waving at the camera…
I’ll be back…

Unfortunately the time has come to archive this one. We checked for ourselves - the council has erected a large fence making it much harder to get to. Secondly the cache hide 'hole' has been sealed over. Thirdly, there are four cameras, two at each end of the tunnel. Presumably they are there to track wildlife.

Took forever to find. Was searching for this between my chiropractor visit and my physio visit. Think I need to go back to the chiropractor. Being tall isn't always an advantage.
Subterranean allergy blues. I very rarely look at caches before heading out, and this was no exception. I arrived at GZ and parked the bike - uuuugggghh wasps nest. Meh, it winter, they will be find. Hmmm maybe not. I'll check the cache for hints. Oh, right, time to relocate.
Wrangled the bike to a better spot. Gah, more wasps. Bah, lots of options. After checking I actually had my Epipen I carefully ventured in for a look. I had an idea of where the cache could be, but with so many wasp nests I did not have a real good look. Don't want a sting and end up looking like this - [:X][xx(]

Out for Wednesday womble with 1Minniemoo. With no real plan in mind we just decided to collect some older caches and then added some extras at the end of the day.
I'd been to this one before and not found it but I got a hint from a previous finder.
Didn't really need the hint as 1MM located it almost instantly and then promptly basher her noggin on the roof of the tunnel in excitement!

Wacky Wednesday with wombles and co, and we only had a half thought out plan for the day. The main goal was to chase one or two older caches with a couple of other caches thrown in along the way for good measure.
Our luck had not been quite so great today, with one cache requiring us to abort mission due to the rain pelting down, and another cache inaccessible due to roadworks. We decided to head back a little earlier than planned, and finish the day off in here with these newer offerings.
Having grabbed our first two caches we made our way back to the car and drove around to this one, parking in a relatively handy spot. Wombles had told me she had attempted this one once before, but come up empty. However today, a quick dash around the barrier and in to the subterranean, and it wasn’t long before the sneaky little hide was extracted - followed by me coming up a little too excitedly with it in hand and forgetting we were in a low clearance tunnel. Bang goes my head!!
Log signed we were back at the car and turning around for my final cache today in no time.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (LJCC).

A systematic search of the possible hiding spots and soon the cache was in hand.

TFTC. Pleasant morning walking and caching w TreasureTrakas. We decided to leave geovehicle in carpark and tackle the caches on foot as it was such a lovely day. Proud to say I found this one and extracted it from hidey for all to sign. (May have signed as SDW & TT to save log space.)
This tool a while but we started a systematic search and the cache was soon found
Thanks for the cache and a very sneaky hide

Visiting mum today after they arrived back from a trip. Discussed a cache to collect and this one was nominated as one needing an extra pair of eyes as it remained unfound despite two site visits. I wasn’t prepared for the mud in my little flat shoes! So after the second pass I figured to needed to commit to the search fully and went sans shoes. Encouraged mum to continue with the search and a short time after she was pleased to make the find. Fun!
Third time lucky today, JACS was visiting so I got her to come with me. At first we didn't turn anything up, it was a little water logged as well, then we took a systematic approach and happy to say that I finally got lucky tftc fav pt for a sneaky little devil.
Oh golly this one had Pprime and I scratching our heads. We were mildly concerned about a nearby burnoff, but it wasn't close... just very smokey. We had a pretty good idea what to look for and where... and we did... over and over and over. We were both close to giving up and.. oh there you are... exactly what we were looking for... and most likely looked almost straight at it multiple times. thank goodness we got to add our marks to the log.

A long awaited day out with Whint&Badal. With the professional arsonists burning off just 'over there' we couldn't get one cache nearby here, but this location seemed to be off to one side, we hoped. Hopefully a good quick find yes?
Nope.
Firstly - excellent location. I love these. But with smoke in the air and I reckon we could hear the crackling of flames ... well we felt the pressure. We searched, we felt, we looked with and without phone lights. We agreed it just had to be in one general style of spot and eventually narrowed our search to a very detailed inch-by-inch one. I think we were both ready to call it - I know I was - when those magical words were uttered "got it". Oh wow is that a well hidden container. Exactly as I was expecting, kind of where too .... and I know I was looking for that, there, more than once. Well done. FP indeed.
Thanks Slow Puncture for entertaining me at this location.

Let’s be honest, we all wish that we were the hunchback of Notre Dame at least once in our lives. Imagine getting served at the bar first, let alone some of the bedroom maneuvers you could pull off without tearing a muscle.
I keep thinking of Page 38 of the Kama sutra that requires a sexy hump to pull off. It’s the same ability you need to find this cache.
We bent over and started the crawl. We even went back and forth a few times but had nothing to show for it except a curvature of the spine which might be shown in a museum some day. Mrs Woodyrothwell got giddy trying to get her hump on and needed to sit down while I set about trying to find out how much a chiropractor can ethically charge. With a bit of a feel the cache was found and my spine is now a perfectly straight sine curve. tftc

Damm.. Walk past it a couple of times..
Think maybe I should get more closer look in different angles Then walk to take a closer look.. And just right there..

After an exhausting week at work due to the end/beginning of the financial year, I was chomping at the bit to get outside today into some fresh air and hunt down a few caches. Couldn't have picked a better day for it, it was certainly Goldilocks weather - not too hot and not too cold, even with the wind blowing. Although the main reason for my trip over this side of town was a bust, I did pick up quite a few others including this one.
With my phone leading me on a merry dance in the vicinity of GZ, I finally resorted to reading the cache description - something I should have done from the beginning - which clearly indicated where I should be looking. I actually ended up finding the cache hide rather quickly. Not by any geocaching expertise but rather blind luck as I stumbled upon it while attempting to search a different spot. TFTC

Took a little searching to no avail. And then thought what would I do here and then voila. Tftc
Out this morning for a few caches in the area. A lovely morning. Arrived at GZ and the hunt was on. Soon had the cache in hand. Signed the log and returned to where found. Thanks Slow Puncture All good with this cache
Finally able to catch up on logging caches found earlier in the year. Today, I was lucky enough to be out for a terrific day of caching with IolantheK
We eventually found this very sneaky cache and with our names added to the log book, we continued on our way
Thank you Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy A favourite point for making us hunt extra hard to make the find

Today I've met up with JustaTrifle for some caching around Burpengary.
After a jaunt up towards Bellmere, we headed south again to clean up a few caches in this area. I missed the publication of this one last time we were here, so a return visit had to be made This road doesn't exist on my map! It certainly took a few passes to locate the container as it is very sneakily hidden. TFTC, Slow Puncture.

A morning out was spent tidying up some of the new caches that have sprouted since we were released out of COVID lockdown last weekend.
It took a little longer to find this one than I was anticipating, having been drawn to a different feature of the area. Regrouped, and after a better look the deviously placed container was soon found.

#8384 found at 10:38.
Thanks for giving us a reason to visit here **Slow Puncture**. This log is trackable, mention where you saw it.

Parked up in the Aquatic Centre and walked back to my GZ and searched for quite sometime without any luck. So phoned geowife who was sat in "Tuna" reading a magazine for some help but when she arrived she said 'why are you looking here' - moral to story folks, always read the description before starting your search !!! Clambered down the embankment and it wasn't long before I had the sneaking little thing in my grasp. Deserves a favourite point for the hide. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
I was just about to start mowing the lawns when the new cache notification hit my mailbox. Within 2 minutes I was heading out in search of the cache. I noticed a few more mails as I set off. This could be a good day.
I parked up and wandered through the trees to GZ. I must have walked through each tunnel 3 or 4 times before looking at something different and there, squirreled away, was the container. Very sneaky. Performed the necessary paperwork, smiled at being FTF and headed off to the another newly released cache, Zabadak!
Thanks!!

After finishing at the last cache I decided to walk to this one, luckily the path went all the way through and I didn't need to drive.
This was a tough one to find! I was looking all over the place and couldn't see anything cache related at all, that's when I decided to read the description, well that certainly narrows it down... Slightly. Once in the correct area it still wasn't an easy find. Hmmm.. Which one should I choose? I searched down all of them several times without any luck, but after having a more thorough search in every possible spot I eventually found the sneaky sneaky hiding place. LOVE IT!
