Out and about with RoddyC and Hatsoff to do maintenance on a couple of their caches and then find some more caches in the area. We walked the plank and I was afraid I'd slip into the mud or the river. Hatsoff was lying on her belly looking and finally found the rusted teather but no cache.
We are looking a find as we have the tether and cache in missing.
Now to get of here safely. Thanks for the exercise and search.

On a caching and maintenance mission in this area today
Claiming a find on this one. Found the teather in 20cm of mud. The chain is very rusted.

Bit of a maintenance run. With hatzofff and imbunda.
As others before us, we found the tether but the CO has not been here for maintenance.
Log "signed" and cache "replaced" as found at 3:44 PM on July 24, 2022. TFTC, bloyce

Found with kelr0cks. Found the tether anyway. Amazing location. Kelr0cks has sent owner photo of spot
Out and about with chamad this morning, we arrived at gz and found the location and tether for the cache, however, no cache.
As suggested by the CO, logging this as found after sending a pic.
Thanks bloyce for bringing me to this quaint place.

Hi everyone!
Sadly it looks as though the river has claimed our cache yet again.
We will be fixing this very soon and will have to change it slightly as sadly our best efforts at the moment can't beat the river!
Thanks for your patience as we rejig this cache.
If you want to log this cache as found until we update it that is fine, as long as you send us a photo of the spot! We really encourage you to still venture to this hidden gem and enjoy a moment there!

We have found this cashe once before but we looked just recently and we couldn't see anything but the chain which was attaching the canister to the area it was previously. We would like to think that the high rainfall has washed it away. We can confirm it was not there anymore.

T-Tech and I called by again today, but the tide was very hide and the planks underwater so we decided to leave for another time.
Found the cache container lying out in the open yesterday (13 Nov), as shown in photo. Not sure how previous log was able to successfully claim it as found, when it's clearly damaged. No logbook or trinkets nearby either. I think this spot might be too risky what with occasional king tides etc. That said, it is a beautiful spot and I appreciate that the cache led me here to see it
Best hint I've ever seen, easy if you know where to look. 10/10 geocache
What a great place for a cache. I bet your geo dog loved all the walkies. My husband and I just finished a dementia walk nearby and I decided to pick up just one cache. I'm glad I picked this one. Loved the hint also. Thankyou for all the fun
Great cache, been here 30 years and never been to this location. Son swapped a toy and we will move on the trackable. Tftc
We are good to go! After some rejigging of this cache it is all secure. Happy hunting!

Sorry for the delay. Will endeavour to have this one fixed up in the next week or two!
We are just going to disable this temporarily while we find a way to anchor it more effectively!
Will be back up ASAP

Out to grab a few caches with IolantheK, even though the weather looks rather menacing !!
Even though we "walked the plank" we could see hide nor hair
Hopefully it's still there and we is blind, but it would be worth the CO having a look to confirm.

Out with T-Tech gathering ALs and caches around Jamboree Heights.
Loved being in this area, so surprising where we ended up! Somebody comes here rather a lot, methinks. Sadly we searched the area pretty thoroughly, particularly where the hint pointed us, but we didn't get a smiley

Found it! A bit of a grueling walk from RRSP with three 7 year olds in tow. The cache gets wet inside, so bring treasure that doesn't rust.
Next, I headed to this cache. I took a lovely stroll along the river to GZ. There, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Out with Peppa and abeck58 for the day. Although Peppa had been here before abeck58 and I hadn't. What a lovely spot. Abeck58 came up with the goods thus time. Thanks for the cache.
Hi guys! Thanks for the logs, we have just popped down to the cache and sadly it appears that somewhere along the way someone hasn't replaced it with the water protection for the log
Log has been replaced and is all good now!
Thank you!

Thank you!
This is such a lovely spot which we wouldn’t have found without the geocache! The cache is a little waterlogged and needs some maintenance. TFTC!
Found it but not sure it was where it should be. Cache is completely wet and I was unable to sign.
What a great spot, who would have known this was here. Fairly quick find at gz, all is good here. One could sit here and ponder the world for ages, I sat for a bit and enjoyed my surrounds. Tftc
I had walked here before becoming a geocacher, so had to return. Great location. Tftc.
Another lovely hide! Haven't come down to this spot for a few years now. It appears to be better maintained by someone, possibly a local land owner. The boardwalk looks to be new, or at least certainly wasn't installed when I was here last.
There was a bloke in the cul se sac packing up his rod and tackle as I was approaching the area. I imagine GZ would be great for a fish

Lovely spot, especially because it was around sunset. I never knew that there such a nice ramp by the river, we have been close to that spot as my great aunt lives near by. Thanks for the great location . The Robinson Crusoes
Found cache. Great location but cache not in right place, sitting out in the open. Will message owner.
What a wonderful spot you stumbled upon here! Fab location to just sit and think. Tftc
Out with Mrs George today for this one. Mrs George found it, so the new-ish log was signed and replaced. One wonders who had the construction skills to build this edifice - maybe a keen fisherman/woman who was also skilled at carpentry. TFTC, bloyce.
Awesome find was first to sign new log, super nice spot to sit and enjoy mother nature
After 2 DNF, we went to check on the cache this morning. Unfortunately it had been muggled or possibly Mother Natured. We have replaced the cache and made it more secure.
All good to go again!

Got on our hands & knees but unfortunately couldn’t locate it. Great location though!
Wow!! What an interesting place to visit.
The track was a bit slippery but I managed to get there without an AOT accident.
I was impressed by the construction at the search area and it took me a few minutes to locate the cache.
I was not game to continue further on the path to see what was around the corner. I managed to negotiate the slippery parts again on the way out without trouble.
As I returned to the car I passed a young girl with her dog and they were heading down the trail towards the cache area. I am glad that I had got out before she had arrived.. It could have been a bit of a surprise for both of us.
TFTC bloyce I loved this location.

There were a couple of workmen nearby but managed to make a quick find when no one was around. Thanks for the cache
One of the things a really love about this game is being taken to the litle places you would never normally stuble across. This was certainly one of those locations. All nice and quiet on the river this morning and no anglers at GZ which I was very grateful for. as that would have made this a no-go for sure. [^]
The coords were spot on and after a brief search, the container was in hand. Out with the log, in with my name, I made sure to seal the bagas requested and tucked everything back in place.
A pleasant stroll in and out of GZ.
Cheers bloyce.

After seeing a log on one of our caches by this cache owner, we searched their profile and found they own caches too. Saw this beauty and a plan was made to visit the area to find caches.
This was an interesting location and if it wasn't for geocaching, we would not have known this was here.
A lone fisherman returned to his car as we pulled up, so maybe no luck today. At GZ, we were surprised to see this little boardwalk. Checked likely places but nothing and didn't really want to get muddy, we didn't get off the boardwalk. Heard voices behind us and a family were taking a walk so we let them go on and they continued along the bank for a short distance and stopped.
We returned and on hands and knees, we located the cache. Great hide, signed logbook and returned cache.
What a great place and give a favourite point for this.

What a beautiful part of Oxley I have lived in Oxley for 3 years and did not even know this was here
That’s one more positive from “the covid”... finding this delight and then bringing us here... out for the morning with Blkthunder... collected the Tb...
After being driven away by a muggle last time I breathed a sigh of relief to find the board walk free of pests today. Certainly a beaut spot and so a joy to return. With a bit of scrabbling about being careful to not drop anything I spotted the sucker. Log signed and a TB added to continue it's travels. Thanks bloyce.
Thanks for showing me a very new part of my suburb. I’ve lived in the area for years but never seen this.
I found the cache lying on open ground so poked it back in a logical spot. Hope I got it right. TFTC!
Postscript note. Awarding this a favourite point. What a great location!

What a beautiful spot. Sat for awhile enjoying the river and birds. TFTC and bringing me here.
We live around the corner and the kids were excited to discover this. Had a lot of fun.
Please note the path continues further up the hill to private property and the owners have had many people walk up to their house.

What a surprise area with the farm and this lovely spot.
Far too cold for a swim today, but we did see a couple of kayaks along the far bank
Thank you for taking us here this chilly Saturday

What a great location. Loved the walk along here. Sadly there was a chap relaxing/meditating and I wasn't able to actually search. However I walked on and up and was quite jealous of the home owners here. On returning I could see I was still muggled out so will return another time.
Loved the hint. Amazing spot. Recommend listening to the song while taking in the serenity
Since I turned off my email notifications, I would say my quality of life has improved overall, but it does mean I miss out now on the thrill of the FTF chase!
I was doing an errand in Jindalee today and decided to go for a drive vaguely in this direction for lunch. Just as I was about to set out, I scanned for caches and was very surprised to see this new one had appeared. Great!
Driving down here was a revelation. I have no memory of ever being down here, but it was great to see cattle and horses and funny to look across to a part of the FTP waterfront where caching has certainly happened.
I enjoyed the wander to the planks and I think you have put a solid cache in a super location. Great work and a Favourite Point from me.

Went to look for this today but there was a group of people on the plank so we will go back to find it. Such a nice spot didnt know it was there! Thanks
*FTF* I was at home doing some studying and saw this one pop up. Oh wonder if I could get it before anyone else. So in the car I drove to a spot I have not seen before. Walked down the little path and between the high grass I spotted the plank. Along I went and before I reached the end, I searched for the container. Nicely tucked in here. Also of note was the interesting sandstone carved away from the wash of the river at the end. A peaceful spot for a bit fishing too. TFTC
