Thought I might grab this one too before leaving Hervey Bay behind. Looking forward to claning up the rest of the series next year's holiday. Thanks GazaCasa!Today is the last day of our holiday, and as I began to make my way southward in the warthog, I figured I might stop for a few caches in the general Maryborough area. Got through there and had to fight traffic for a bit, before peeling off to do a few challenge caches, then detouring home via Yengarie and Tiaro, then southbound to the sunny coast!Heading north on a 5-day trip to Hervey Bay with the family has allowed me to go out and cache the surrounding area. I was able to cram the tredley into the back of the warthog and travel north, stopping a few times. Once to maintain a cache, and another to find a cache. I finally set sights on my destination, Torquay. Over the course of the few days I had, I cycled the new rail trail series of geocaches, did a combined day of shelling and caching Point Vernon, took a drive through Booral and River Heads, travelled to Howard, Torbanlea, Toogoom and Dundowran. On the final day I spot cached as I made my way south, stopping in Walligan, Susan River, Beaver Rock and Owanyilla. I then fought the southbound traffic for a while, then detoured via Yengarie and through Tiaro back to the sunny coast. All things considered, a great holiday and a productive one for geocaching! a MASSIVE thank you to all the COs that I found the caches of along the way!
Out for the day caching with ToucanKB and Danielle46, signing as KTD. Thought wed hit this series of caches. Fast find here. Large ants have colonised this spot, creating a nest amongst the cache and surrounding cover. Cautiously removed the cache. Fortunately ants were not inside it. Tftc.
Quick easy find with The X-Trailers.A great day to be heading towards the coast. TFTC
Wow, what a great spot to stop . We soon had the nice clean cache in hand. Signed and replaced cache as found. Tftc
9:10:00 AM. Plenty of room here to park. Found a well hidden cache. Log signed. Thanks for the cache GazaCasa
I am trying to get a bit of a streak started for the Wheel of Challenges and it is a little challenging holidaying in a town that I have nearly cleaned out. Luckily I still have this end of the trail to go. Road works is making some of the caches a little difficult. But I was able to find a couple today and leave myself a couple for tomorrow. The rest will have to wait until next time I am in the bay.
Currently staying at Hervey Bay, today we decided to pick up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Enjoyed exploring the area, and your cache was one we found along the way.
Many thanks for placing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience today.

Not sure what was more tricky . Finding this one or getting the paper out of the vial
Today I did some caches of this series.
Thanks for the cache and many greetings from Germany,

So at nearly midnight, Scoutboy and our son went to the last 4 caches we had visited, and armed only with a cell phone light and a massive amount of luck, found this on the ground near the ocean view cache.
A special shout-out and a huge thank you to GazaCasa who made a special trip to two of the caches to search for it! That’s definitely above and beyond cache maintenance!
I forgot to mention that Scoutboy also left his cell phone on top of the post at this cache. We only knew where to go back because it wasn’t logged…

If anyone happens to find Scoutboy’s California drivers license near the cache, please send me a message. Thanks!
Gps seemed to wander a lot hereafter reading previous logs made a quick find

Thanks, drive. Past this one so many times but today I managed to stop after visiting the wonderful recycle reuse shop! Cute container.
We are in the area for a few days finding some local caches and this is one we found as we continued along the trail. All good here log signed and replaced as found. Thanks GazaCasa for another one.
Tftc. This was found in the open on the ground. Signed and replaced where we think it should have been, given half the fake rock found as well.
Pulled in here for a quick find as we were leaving Hervey Bay. Camo is missing but logbook in good condition. TFTC
Day 2 in Hervey Bay, our first full day. We decided to head back inland after working on a couple of Adventure Labs to search for some of the caches away from the coast and work our way round to River Heads.
At times it was tough going with quite a few micros in the bush. Some were in good condition and others poor, but we were reasonably successful.
Few muggles out there so that was a bonus and the scenery down at River Heads fantastic.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache GazaCasa.

As previous finder noted back in March this year, the cache desperately needs attention. There is just a dirty plastic bag with log inside that is virtually unable to be signed. The bottom of the cache is there but no top to it. Message sent to CO with photo. TFTC
While staying in the Hervey Bay area we wanted to do this trail and we completed it over two different days. Thanks GazaCasa for placing this trail for us to explore the area. Found as part of Team Jar.
While visiting Hervey Bay decided to tackle some caches. After arriving at GZ we soon found the cache. Signed the log as Team JAR (joojoo57, Aussie Liahona and Richmond Lad) TFTC
Having made plans for catching up with friends in Hersey Bay today we didn't have a lot of spare time available so we certainly did the new adventure lab caches
since our last visit and anything else that was close by.
We decided to try this series on our way into Hersey Bay as we had a couple of hours to kill and hoped that we would be able to find at least a few of them.
It turned out that these were really enjoyable. The last few days have been a slog with the grass being well above our head and the caches were quite difficult to locate because of all the growth/
We are happy to say that we found each one we looked for and any we haven;t logged is because it was just too wet near gz to be able to search.
Please don't be upset by our generic log, we really do appreciate the time, effort and expense that goes into setting up these series. When you do so many in a day it's hard to remember each one individually.
Thanks GazaCasa for the caches.
Pulling up in the spot where the semi trailers park (it’s Sunday and quiet) we wander over to where I think the cache. I’m done with my GPS for the moment, it seems to be wrong a lot anyway.
Sadly we find the cache quickly as the base of it is lying out on the ground with the contents lying nearby. We pick up the pieces and thankfully the plastic bag is mostly intact. We sign the log and try and wrap it all back up to keep the contents as dry as possible. Putting the base back on the ground, the contents go on that and then a few rocks on top of that again.

Found quickly on a rainy day after a heavy down pour over night which hampered my geoccaching plans for the day i wanted to find a few more but had to settle for 8 find for the day. TFTCF.
Out caching with Konie. After finding a nearby cache, we headed to this one. It was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
In Hervey Bay today with Selva Girls and picking up caches in the area and this was one of them. Once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Doing this trail today before heading home. It’s been a lovely few days exploring more of the countryside. Thank you for taking the time to create and hide all these caches. The effort you put in gives us the opportunity to enjoy these finds! Thank you again. ️
Found at 14.18hrs.
Getting some more of the Route 57 caches that I missed yesterday. Just as we pulled up near GZ a truck pull up near us. He wasn't long and we quickly had the cache log signed and on our way.
Thanks GazaCasa.

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that i can claim the finds or not as the case may be. TFTC.
27/6/21 Staying in Harvey Bay catching up with my Parents who have travelled here for a visit. I am in holidays from Mackay. Rainy weather has come in but not stopping getting some caches. TFTC SL
We found that there is roadworks on this road but being a Sunday no one was at work, thankfully for us. All the caches were found and are in good order. SL TFTC
TFTC.We are staying in Maryborough for a week and doing as many caches as possible each day. Today we had made arrangements to meet up with some friends for afternoon coffee in Hervey Bay. Rather than stay put we left early and cached our way down. We managed to find 18 and a couple of DNFs later in the afternoon.
On my own today, wore out Fairy Mother yesterday, too much walking.
Grab a couple that got away from us yesterday.
Having cleaned up all the green boxes in Maryborough had to move further afield, also had a couple of mine that needed some TLC so they could live for another day'
Decided to finish off this trail that I'd started the last time I was up this way'
All cool with this cache, great to have a on this cache, didn't have any luck last time, it was also raining at the time.

We found your cache **"Route 57 and Booral Rd Trail 4"** today.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Thank you GazaCasa for adding to our adventure.

We are enjoying our stay in Pialba with our 5yo grandson now. A lot to do here for him. In between swimming, riding Scooter, playing and waterpark visits we go on short caching sprees.

TFTC! Another fairly quick find, breaking up this busy road. Took a bit to find GZ and not sure what the hint meant?

I popped by here this arvo
And as the traffic banked up on the main road,
because some drongo had overloaded his trailer with gravel,
and lost the lot across the main drag,
I got busy looking for this cache

We set out today aiming to find the Route 57 series. We had 2 DNFs 1 we didn’t attempt due to muggles. And the last one we didn’t get to. Most were easy finds Thanks for the series.
I left Bargara at 5am and arrived in Childers just on sunrise. Did some caching there and on the way down to the Route 57 Trail and the Bingham Trail. All good here. Apologies for the boiler plate logs. If there is any thing different I will add it to the appropriate log. The majority of the logs were signed with my YOF to save space on the paper. Where I could write youngoldfella I did. 54 finds for the day and arrived at the Urangan Motel at 1615pm. That is enough for the day. TFTC GazaCasa

Heading to Hervey Bay for a few nights for my eldest daughters birthday. Day 1 found 2 caches, day 2 found 1 cache, day 3 found 29, day 4 found 56.
Few DNF's, and recovering from an MCL tear in my knee, there were a few I didn't even attempt, and some I shouldn't have attempted but did...and now sitting on the couch having a celebratory scotch, am certainly paying for it.
I loved these two series, certainly has increased the cache count down the southern end of Hervey Bay and was great motivation to get up and pack up camp early to hit the road. Really appreciate the effort taken GazaCasa and I'll be back to clean the rest up soon. Actually hit the big 800 during this series to, so thanks for the milestone
Thanks for the brilliant series **GazaCasa**

A pleasant afternoon to find a few caches but as the day drew on, the sky was looking quite overcast. We had to wait for a ute with mattresses to leave the area, but the search proved to be a quick one. A ***FTF*** for the effort. The co-ords were good and the cache was dry
