The night before we came down to Coffs for the long weekend, we had to buy some emergency chocolate. I dont know what a bar of chocolate can do for you in a dire situation but Mrs Woodyrothwell put it at the top of the list. The real emergency was what she was going to do on the second night when she ate it on the first. tftc
TftcAfter attending the Winter in Woopi, I thought I would do a couple of quick caches before I headed home and before it became too dark. Quick find #3
While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
Found with nissan65 on a caching trip to Coffs. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching.
A great hint for this sneakily secreted hide. Found quickly but accessing the log made us earn the smilie. Got it thanks to persistence with a twig. TFTC earthly65.
With a long weekend in front of me and a challenge cache in Brisbane on the radar it seemed a perfect opportunity to good to miss to not head south and chase the caches i need to successfully claim the cache. After spending the night in Coffs Harbour woke early and started the hunt for local caches with a view of working my way back towards Brisbane.I found a safe place to park the car and made my way to ground zero where the cache was quickly located. The log was removed and signed and replaced the cache safely in its hiding place.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
On the hunting trail with Liz & Bruce on 2024 New Years adventure. Quick find here. Another great day for caching. TFTC earthly65
Thanks for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area. The container was perished so we replaced.
This was our last find as there were road workers at the locations of the next 2 caches.
Cache wasn’t quite where we thought but Bob found it anyway.
The container has no lid so it’s been replaced upside down to try to protect the log.
Thanks Earthly65 for these caches. We’d have liked to have found more of them. Another time hopefully.

We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Headed of from Coffs towards Grafton picking some of this series, along the way. Arrived home tonight to discover a few ticks had enjoyed a free journey.[:(!]
Stopped off here where the very sad container was found after a short search, once at GZ. Needs some TLC from CO.
Thanks earthly65 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

The cache has been crushed and can no longer be sealed as the lid is gone, and it was sitting on the ground with log missing, I put a new log into the cache containing and placed it back in its rightful spot, but it needs maintenance

We started the trail from the "Woopi" end, gathering quite a collection of smiley tokens, including this practice one, to add to our geo map.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Don't think this cache is guideline compliant - see [Regional Geocaching Policies - Australia ](https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Australia)
Thanks to earthly65 for creating this interesting trail of caches.

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

As we slowly head back home to Qld, we are checking out some of the roads less travelled with plans to return. The finds we had today were in good condition and relatively easy to find.
Thank you, earthly65, for placing this cache for the geocaching community to enjoy during their travels

Both the cache and log are in perfect condition.
I have just realised that I haven't logged the first two of the series that I did last week...will do when I get home.

Found while staying at daughters place at Coffs on a not so beautiful day. But a good day for caching so thank for these caches eathly65
We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

A straightforward find while taking a short detour in between doing the Woopi and Emerald Beach ALs. I decided against proceeding on to the series proper as the road verges are very wet after all the recent rain ... the risk of getting stranded is not worth the price of a few smilies. Maybe another time when I'm staying up here again.
Thanks for the smiley earthly65.

This afternoon we decided on a short cachepedition along the WoopiBucca Trail.
We saw this one as we drove up to GZ. We were watched by three friendly horses while we completed the cache.
T4TC and thanks to earthly 65 for all the hard work putting together the WoopiBucca Trail.

A little trip north today for some caching. With Frankie the labradoodle puppy in tow, we managed to make 29 finds today. Really enjoyed our WoopiBucca drive and we'll be back to finish the series another day. Thanks for your caches earthly65!
Today we headed up north to complete the WoopiBucca trail, our first full day caching in a few months.
We managed to make 42 finds and 0 DNF's, the trail was a little washed out in some places but nothing we couldn't handle. Overall it was a great day out.
Thanks for the cache earthly65

We have ventured out this way again this morning as we both want to have a second look at the widowmaker. As there were no people here on our second visit, the find was made. Thanks for the cache.
We didn't actually look for this one as there were two people at GZ. Just need to mark it so that we know we didn't just drive by by accident.
Dropped the camper into Woolgoolga to have some work done on it, and this series was just across the highway. How could I resist?
Spent the morning on this series then a couple of AdLabs in Coff's.
The GPSr did wander a bit, but when that happened the clues were always good.
A nice range of sizes and hides to keep the trail interesting.
That is a different place to hide the cache!
Thanks, Robmc.

When the rain cleared this afternoon we took.thw opportunity to go for a bit of a drive/explore... Found a handful of caches as we passed by, the most difficult part of which was convincing the muggle-man/driver to make multiple stops so... half a dozen was apparently his limit Thanks for the hides earthly65
After caching yesterday in coffs, we saw these ones when heading home, so after reading the descriptions and looking at the D/T, we thought, these would be a nice start to the day, before we looked at Emerald Beach Adv Labs. However this was not to be the case, either we were having a bad day, or GPS in this area is crap, we struggled through the first 5 even with up to a 17mtr gz error, so I recalibrated the GPS, but was still having mixed success, it would be spot on for one, then out by 10 on others, not the best in this type of terrain.
unfortunately it was not an enjoyable day caching, it took far too long for the amount of caches done, that we were stuffed and unable to do Emerald Beach, but it is done now, traffic was light, but a few logging trucks (thankfully empty) speeding along the roads so take care if it is logging season.

It was time to go for a forest drive with ilook4geo and this WoopiBucca series looked like a good run of caches to do. Most were easy enough to find with just a few taking a bit longer. It was an enjoyable day. All found logs had two more names added to them before being put back where they had been found. Thank you to earthly65 for placing this series of caches.
Had a fun caching day with goingplaces2 and found most of the ones we looked for, signed logs and replaced all as found. TFTC.
Found at 12:13 PM GAFF3.
That was a tricky little one! I had dismissed the hiding location at first as I didn't think there were any possible spots to hide a micro - but a nano! Well that is a different story!
Thanks earthly65.
