We are taking a break from geocaching at the moment and it seems like this one is no longer there
The road mentioned by BM75 is currently blocked off so I couldn’t get within 100m of GZ… but there’s definitely a new road here…
I drove right up to within 2m of GZ because it is now a road in a new sub-division. No sign of anything here
We had noted that this one had not been found for a while, and some of the reasons why. Mr SKI finds it hard to pass a solved puzzle and decided to take the challenge. Wet feet and thongs on the way in and a quick find made at GZ. Decided to take a slightly different path on the way out that looked a little dryer. A mistake! A thong got caught and he slipped and went down. No damage, other than hurt pride and a rather wet, muddy and smelly side. This was offset by the grin because of the find.
After visiting the Sunday Market at the Caboolture Showgrounds we walked back to camp and had some lunch. In the afternoon we headed out with a focus on the Harry Potter series, but of course picked up a few traditionals that crossed our path on the way. We got all bar one on our travels and had a successful if at times eventful day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Miss_Direction.

Nyssaflutterby and I escaped for a morning and found some puzzles.
It was hot and some caches too more time to find then others. Still nice to be out and about!

Out with wombles today to make a last minute attempt at reaching the peak. We only had two Potter puzzles left to find, so it was decided to get them found before hitting our favourite lunch destination in town.
Arriving close to GZ it became apparent that we were going to get wet feet for this one. The recent rain had turned the entrance into a running river Not one to turn away from a bit of water we sploshed on through the very wet and muddy path. Ohhhh squelchy underfoot, haha, love it!
Reaching GZ it didn’t take long to have the well hidden beasty in hand.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache Miss_Direction

After solving this puzzle, I made an immediate appointment with my optometrist. Maybe new glasses would have helped to solve it a little more quickly, or maybe I just need new glasses as a result of having solved it.
Fortunately finding the hide was a little less challenging and we have added our name to the log.
Thanks Miss _Direction

A lovely drive finding our way around the country roads this morning collecting smileys for the puzzles we have solved so far in this series. I had help with this one even though I had tried this method unsuccessfully but with a closer look the coords were revealed. It was a little muddy getting to GZ but the mud was avoided and at GZ my eye spotted something which soon revealed the container. Log signed and cache replaced as found. All good with this one. Thanks Miss_Diection.
I must admit I had to get help in understanding how to solve this one - and even then it nearly sent me dotty staring as the screen. A lovely drive down through the pineapple fields after tree fishing in Caloundra before parking up and then a very boggy walk to GZ where we had a nice easy find. All good with the cache. TFTC Miss_Direction
Today is our last day in the area to find caches, we have tried to clear up a few DNF’s and tried to finish the ‘Potter Puzzles’. We will be leaving with the series not finished and a couple of DNF’s, we will return.
Hubby took off his shoes and walked to the cache as the track in is still quite wet. The cache is in good condition. SL TFTC

Still plenty of water pooled nearby. Even plotting a slightly drier access way we still ended up with wet feet. Found the cache after a brief search at the GZ. Thanks Miss D for the puzzle and the hide.
The track into GZ was still full o0f water. Decided to call it quits here and head back to camp. Hopefully when we return the area will have dried out .
Haha. We had some fun getting to this one. With all the rain there has been recently. From our access point it was impossible to avoid the water which was over a foot deep in the car tracks and still about 6” deep right across. Thankfully I had my boots in the car and was able to stay dry footed with them on. Found the cache in good condition and from GZ learned there might be another way in.
Cheers and happy caching!

Found at 12:04 PM GAFF1.
Gosh - that was a tricky spot to access! The first 40 metres of the access track was flooded from edge to edge! So much for my dry shoes and socks I guess normally you could drive right upto GZ.
Thanks Miss_Direction.

I teamed up with E-Smiley this morning to hunt down the caches for this series.
I had a lot of fun but also needed a fair bit of help solving the puzzles. All caches were found easily and are in great conditions.
Thanks for the fun series and showing me this nice area!

Oh me eyes after solving this one!!!!! Got to solve more before I go blind! Fun puddle jumping to get to gz
Parked the vehicles at the end of the driveway and looking toward GZ it appeared that the tide was coming in, or the immediate area was sinking. Either way, our water allergic group kept to the high ground on our way to GZ, to keep our tootsies dry. Sadly no one in our majestic conga line slipped in the mud or took a dive into the drink. With our business done at the far end, we retraced our steps making sure we avoided the quick sand and resident water based reptiles.
Back at the cars, we all went to grass patches in an attempt to wipe off the bog from the bottom of our shoes. The grass variety turned out to be bog resistant, making bog from shoe extraction impossible, and a covid loo paper substitute silly. With some moaning from the ladies, Mr woody sacrificed their heirloom picnic rug for an impromptu round of hokey pokey. Just another story of bog sticking to a blanket. Thanks Miss_Direction for setting up this series.

Normally I don’t give away how puzzles are solved in a log because that is as boring as batsh*t. This one I struggled with so reached out to the CO for help. Even with their direction (or misdirection - see what I did there) I had nothing.
I was staring at Potter and even with a tip saw nothing. I asked one of my daughters for help and she was immediately regaling numbers to me. It must have been a colour-blind thing because I couldn’t see what she was raving on about. She is my kid so no amount of raving was going to peak my interest.
We walked to GZ and did the doce-do around the puddles. There was plenty of mud and filth which is why I married Mrs Woodyrothwell but all our shoes were coated. I dragged my wife’s favourite blanket out of the car boot for us to wipe our shoes on. I knew the filth would bring a smile to her face. tftc

Making my way back down the coast with hatzofff and RoddyC & spending a few days in the local area to do some geoart puzzles and others in between.
All hides were found relatively easy and apart from a few wet logbooks that we changed where we could, caches were in good condition.
Apologies for the generic logs CO's, thanks for placing for everyones enjoyment.

After the New Year Events in Kilkivan, today's caching area includes the Harry Potter and Agatha Christie Series, with hatzofff and Snickersallan in the geovehicle.
Fortunately my eyes worked much better at the cache than at the puzzle.
Log signed and cache replaced as found on January 3, 2021. TFTC, Miss_Direction

The HP puzzles have been sitting on the map for some time. So today off I went on a mission to find all of Harry’s lost treasure. And to honest, as definitely not a potterhead, got a lot more out of the hunt than the mysteries Logged 14/15, ‘tho I went back again to the DNF. Fun day wandering around the backroads

Got it nice area to explore because we're not from around here. Found the cache after a short search. Thanks for this puzzle series Miss_Direction and for your cache placement. Fav point alloc for this beaut series.
Out today on a mission with OBC and mini-OBC. Swung by here for the next of over 120 finds today. Being a fan of the books I liked the themed containers on the Potter Puzzles, and the themed puzzles. Nice job.
Thanks Miss_Direction for entertaining me at this location.

Out and about on a power trail today - targeting the Roses geoart (wahoo! highly recommended), the Potter Puzzles geoart, and the Hamilton power trail. It was a long but fantastic day with myself, Pprime (P') and mini oz_bean_counter, and the logs were signed as OP'X to reflect this. Started at 4 am with a check on the US election progress, in the car by 4.45 am and the first cache by 5.30 am. Home and dead tired 12 hours later, where wine and pizza were necessary to refuel the body before I crashed for the night. I was delighted to end the day with 124 finds (plus 5 DNFs, and revisited 2 caches) - a new daily record for me. I was really really happy to be celebrating that achievement with family and good friends.
Thanks for all the COs for their time and effort in placing and maintaining these caches. Apologies for the generic log.

Found it on 20 October 2020 at 4.15pm with hagwig26 whose help finding cache I could not of done without. Her membership has lapsed but her skills have not, especially puzzles. Tftc tnln sl.
I parked not far from gz and a little walk . Then my compass had me going around in circles again. Think it's the wind. So I used my geosenses and bingo..this puzzle was really hard . We tried all sorts of things . Thanks for the fun
Out for a day of fun caching with IolantheK on another bright and sunny day We found a variety of caches and had a very enjoyable day out.

Out with Just a Trifle today hunting down some Potter Puzzles, and we have 5 solutions between us.
An easy walk into this one and a quick find. TFTC, Miss_Direction.

My poor brain hurt solving these puzzles and I had to ask for lots of guidance from my puzzle solving geo-friend. Anyone who isn't a massive Harry Potter fan should probably add a point or two to the difficulty level. One consolation was that the caches themselves were easy to find and not too many micros among them
Thanks Miss_Direction for the puzzles and the caches.

Looking on the map I thought I’d drive right up to this one. Not quite the case but an easy walk and quick find.
Got the tick of approval and after a short walk down the lane found the treasure in a well private spot. Log getting a little damp though. Should've bought a bag to collect the pine cones for tonight's fire! Heard a decent rustling in the bush so decided to move on quickly after signing. Thanks for this puzzle and cache Jen.
I'd love to be able to say this was an easy solve for me, but it was not. I am still learning with these sorts of puzzles and I needed a push to end up with coordinates. Never the less, I arrived at gz today and was able to add my name to the log. They say practice makes perfect, so thanks for the practice and the cache Miss_Direction
With a new series celebrating the boy wizard, we got busy trying to solve a few before heading out today to find them.
This was the first to be solved and also first of the series found after a short walk.

Easy solve last night and up late this morning I saw it was still unfound. Got out to the area quite late I thought after a bit of faffing around and I found one of a couple of ways in to this area. I unwittingly chose the barking dog entry . Good thing previous puzzles gave me good practice. Had this one solved in a couple of minutes. Love these sorts of puzzles. Only one solved and found today as on a tight timeframe.
