(9931) Got up early this morning to do a spot of caching around Feilding. Liked the variety of hides. Not a lot of room for parking but at least there is very little traffic. Thanks BrolgaandTui for taking the time to place the cache and for bringing me here.
Today is another rostered Friday to provide tech support to the Feilding office. And you know what that means... lunchtime caching! [^]I've cleaned out a few quadrants of Feilding on previous Fridays, so today I set my sights a little further a field.Parking was rather precarious at GZ, but thankfully the only vehicle that went past was a train.Quick find at an obvious host. Thanks
In Feilding today to find some caches towards this month's Baker's Dozen. I was out this way so parked nearby and made a quick find, seeing no traffic in either direction the whole time. Thanks for the cache!
Quiet day with two of us so pulled up right to the spot, left the driver in the car with hazards on and made the grab
It was such a lovely day today I opted to go for a bike ride and pick up a cache a little further away.
No problems making the find here as it was nice and muggle free.
Thanks for putting this here

Once again, as it is every couple of weeks, I find myself spending the weekend in Wanganui (from Wellington), and after my real life responsibilites had been dealt with for the day I headed over to Feilding as the nearest location of geocaches I have not yet found. I had no set plan for the day other than driving around (somewhat in concentric circles) finding geocaches, and this was one of them.
No problems here as the cache was found, safe and well, exactly as described.
Thanks to BrolgaandTui for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… We’re on a big Easter weekend excursion visiting Vikings and anything else in between.
Easter Monday: You can never judge how busy these country roads are going to be. We didn’t have a lot of parking options, so it was great to make another quick find and sign. Thanks BrolgaandTui. TFTC.

On a steam train trip to Wanganui today. The train stopped at this point for everyone to get off and photograph it steaming forwards. While I was waiting for the train to back up again I checked to see if there were any caches nearby. This one was less than 100m away. Found it with no difficulty, however I didn’t have a pen on me at the time. Took a photo as proof of the find. #5634. TFTC.
Found quick as a rat up a drain pipe. All good at gz, dry as a chip and plenty of paper. Damp day in the Manawatu today but no better at home, Blenheim. 'Tftc

After completing the near by multi I quickly parked up to grab this cache before continuing on on the mission.

My Wanganui'ing done I headed to work but decided to grab a couple of caches along the way.

Passed by this one with intentions to do the nearby Multi too but a cold breeze and a hunger meant just a couple of Trads instead. Nice and easy here though recent signs of water level rise might leave this hide vulnerable in future, or not.
Another after work 4A meant a few more local finds and a break from the self imposed constraints of barrack life. Just the 4 caches this evening but good to be on the trails with my find numbers ticking over nicely. We are about to move house down to this region so these solo trips will soon be a distant memory! Thanks to the COs for their caches and the fun.

An interesting name for this cache. As it is near several other like named friends.
A quick park and grab, cache in good condition.
Out for a local hunt with fellow cacher Kelly0.

I had a day's leave organised for today to head up to Auckland for the Mega Event. Covid alert levels mean that, that plan has gone down the gurgler (for now). I decided to take the day off as planned, and do a day trip up here. The lovely spring weather made for an enjoyable day's caching. A nice quick find here. TFTC
Having had a brilliant day yesterday ushering in Daylight Saving for this year, I had today off work to be able to attend an event in Palmy and also to go out and find a reasonable number of caches to fulfill my personal goal of finding X caches every single month. I've pretty much cached out my immediate locale so I'm having to go further and further afield to find caches, so found myself in Feilding for a few hours.
GZ itself was nice and quiet mid morning so I was able to conduct my search without muggle issues. It only took me a moment to locate the cache at the obvious location in accordance with the Hint. No issues with the log, which was signed and everything replaced as found before I strolled back to the car to head off for another

#12,440. Park and grab on Lethbridge Road in Feilding. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet and looking lonely at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

A quick easy find at the lonely wee tree. We too parked in the gravel area and walked back, which was just as well, as while we were signing the log, a tractor needing three quarters of the road width passed us. A good view from here of the cemetery we had just visited. TFTC
A quick find on a very narrow and busy road. We parked at the off road gravel area nearby and walked back to find the cache.
Out with TharntheHalken on a caching expedition around the Manawatu. All good in cache, tftc!
I hatched a plan to get 2021 caches by the end of 2021. This did not go quite to plan but managed to get out and about on the 3 day of 2021 to grab some caches around Feilding, then toward Awahuri then Bulls on the way home.
This was nice and dry despite nearby water. Signed log and left as found.
Thanks for the placement BrolgaandTui.

Ms_KR and I are on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland for our family Christmas. Today we cruised to Napier. Please excuse the generic logs, there have been a few finds and they get muddled up sometimes.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Many thanks
Due to blocking half the road I just scribbled our name and replaced back and took off

Heading back to the East Coast after a week of work in Whanganui. Thought I would make it a leisurely trip and collect a few smileys on the way. Enjoyed exploring Friendly Fielding. Side trip to the amazing cemetery and why not pick up this one as well. Thanks
It was such a glorious day and the fact i needed to visit a friend in Feidling prompted me to go out to this multi cache and gained the needed Petra site for the Wonders of the world before heading to the south island in a a couple of weeks, where i plan to visit and complete the second stage caches of the wonders of the world.
this was a straight forward find and i was quickly on my way once more.
thank you for this straight forward cache. I took nothing and left nothing.

It was a quick stop enroute to the cemetery as the road was surprisingly busy.

Thinking I had time for one more find before heading back to base, I decided to head to this cache which was on the way (sort of). It was the nice quick find I was hoping for. I will need to return some day soon to attempt the nearby multi.
Very nice find with woolwood9 after the International Geocaching Day Event in Palmerston North.
Fun series of caches!

We wanted to make a start on gathering the Wonders of the World today, especially since Covid-19 seems to be rearing its ugly head again and we may have to stop caching for a period.
So it was off Feilding - Halcombe way for a couple of caches.
We stopped here first for a quick, straightforward find. There was absolutely no one about so no danger of muggling. All was soon back in place. TFTC

had stealth going and managed this as my last cache and at roughly 20.5km sob close to finishing thanks for the placement
Oh wow! BrolgaandTui are being very generous with opportunities for me personally to nab {FTF}s.
I've just finished having lunner (that's lunch and dinner, much like brunch, but mid-afternoon), when the latest notification came through. Once again, drop everything and attempt it. Once again, mission accomplished. Sorry fellow local geocachers . I am trying to put out a few of my own for others to get FTFs but for me a p&g has to have a purpose... so you'll just have to wait.
Thank you again BrolgaandTui for the cache and the opportunity. I was going to drop a TB but it wouldn't fit.
