Reperio 10:41Day 4 of our tour of Tamworth/Armidale caching trip, and today, Master Vitruvius and I were able to focus on more of the cache closer to the Tamworth area. We had such a great time over the last few days finding plenty of caches. This one was quickly found along the way.Gratias Whitey WiskasAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Peo[le in pool so I could not check. I could see the cache is there but realise I will have to move it to a less conspicuous location. Will do this on the next rainy day.
Whitey Wiskas I found your cache The Grange on 22/10/2023, 11:34 am. This is my find 6182 and find # 11 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Magnetic is not functioning properly. The container was on the ground, not attached. I placed in some other way, so it could stick ok.Thanks Whitey Wiskas for placing The Grange! #1057GC8VEWK
Mrs Shifter was dropped off here to locate the cache while Mr Shifter drove up the road and turned around.
A very quick find while looking at the amazing pool and tennis court here.
Thanks for the hide Whitey Wiskas.

Revisiting Tamworth after living here for a brief moment 35 years ago. The goal was to join in on parkrun and to turn as many markers to yellow smilies!
Thank you Whitey Wiskas for your contribution to this great game.
What a beautiful location! Go with your gut every time! Happy to find after seeing there had been a few DNF’s
Thankfully it was cold and no one was swimming so I could complete my signing duties without looking like a stalker!

If its on pool fence & not exactly where satellite map shows, its either gone or has eluded me.
Tftc whitey Whiskas, made the find, felt a bit dodgy .
All good here. Want a swim now!

Felt a little awkward walking around the area. None the less we still found it. Some.lovely houses in the area. TFTC
I felt a bit dodgy walking behind the bushes on the way to GZ. Luckily there was nobody in the pool.

A bit cold for a swim today but nevertheless magnificent looking complex took a bit of searching – very cleverly hidden. TFTC
Don't know how we missed this one last time we were in town but pleased to now have a smilie showing up here. Thanks.
Second attempt at this cache, looked for it a couple of years ago. Arrived at GZ and this time was successful in finding it - yeaaaah. TFTC Whitey Wiskas

Day 6
Tamworth.
This one felt a little awkward as I wonder if this was private land...
This is a Road trip south back to ACT, originally to Dayboro, but now a caching trip around NSW for the Easter break.
found with StrangeTrousers
thanks Whitey Wiskas

#7158 Day 6 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are in an around Tamworth NSW. We still needed to grab a few we missed on the way in and explore Tamworth in general. The weather was warm but calm today and lots of people are on the move.
A very fine swimming pool, unused currently, but warm enough for it. It took a bit of searchign for this one as it blends in well.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas

We're having a couple of nights in Tamworth enroute to the CacheQld mega at Dayboro and I took the opportunity to do a bit of sightseeing geo-style today. I mostly targeted caches that have been highly favourited or looked like they'd take me somewhere interesting, but I also did some that were close at hand.
A straightforward find here ... thanks for the hide Whitey Wiskas.

Hi there Whitey Wiskas.
We found your cache **"The Grange"** today.
Today we needed fuel for the geo-mobile, and according to another app, United was the cheapest. So once the service station was located a route was plotted that would take in some geocaches along the way. Using this method we found 18 caches and DNF'd 1
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The cache was soaked, we spent some time drying it out, but it still too wet to sign. It really needs some "Owner TLC".
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Today we travelled fro our tree change at Uralla to Tamworth setting up at the showgrounds.
We only had six caches to do in the town area.
WOW what an amazing subdivision, a couple of people enjoying the swimming pool while we were there.
Thankyou Whitey Wiskas for placing this cache.

Quick and easy find. TFTC. Felt very uncomfortable and intrusive with this one.
So this is how the other half live Found with the family on a roadtrip home from Newcastle - picked this one as it ticks an Ausmer box for me. Signed R1BG. TFTC.
Was indeed a park and grab and sign and scaddadle, as felt intrusive, like the pool, tftc
Found at 1:09 PM GAFF1.
Thank goodness for excellent co-ords as there are so many places to look in.
Is this pool part of the up-market estate?
Those terracotta warriors from across the road were keeping an eye on us, I'm sure!
Thanks Whitey Wiskas.

A swish area with some stately addresses. Going to need the cunning of a fox to get this one in summer. TFTC Whitey.
While staying in Tamworth for a few days, I just had to get out and convert some more to finds ...

Unfortunately we could not locate this cache this afternoon !! Thanks Whitey Wiskas
We saw that this one still had not been found, and so decided to take a wee detour and come and look at this part of Tamworth. Very beautiful and a lovely golf course nearby. At GZ we searched for awhile albeit a little self-consciously as we were close to many homes. No luck for us here today so the FTF can wait for someone else. Beautiful area
