I am booked in for a Goddess massage just up the road and as I am running early. I stopped at this beautiful spot to pass some time. While here I checked the App and to my surprise there was a cache 9m from the seat I had first chosen. Quick find with the help of the leaf lifter (I always worry about spiders and other bitey things), and a return to the car for the scribe tool and cache was signed. Its been a hot minute since I have been geocaching and as studies have just finished for the year, I think Ive found something to consume some free time. Thank you. Cache is in good condition and the many natural guards (ducks, crows, ants etc) are keeping watch.
Khyes first find of the day !!!! easy and fun find with pretty view and a nice seat to sign the cache on
Geocaching out with Woodwahdi this saturday to get some smileys and the weather is beautiful. This is find 74 for me and find 5 today. Easy find in obvious spot. cache was completely uncovered in hiding spot so left it covered with leaves. tftc
Thank you for the find. Beautiful open space with the view of Mum and Dad swans with there two little cygnets gliding majestically on the nearby lake. Nice place for a cuppa.
Found it approx 21 metres away from GZ sitting out in open on ground. Cache is otherwise fine. Messaged Co and placed it in the most likely spot at where the coordinates suggest. Thanks for cache.
First for CO. Nice one smallwombat, at least it is not up a tree you may recognize.
sunshine58 I found your cache An Open Space on 5/8/2023, 5:25 pm. This is my find 5944 and find # 6 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out and about with MummaBear & the cubs exploring the wonders of the Sunny Coast and surrounding areas.
The goal for the day was to work towards this months challenge, so the main focus was to find caches with high favourite points and any others we’d come across.
We had a great day out and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon as we’re not even close to completing this months challenge.
Thanks for bringing us here.

I actually replaced in a different spot months back. But had trouble loading new coords. Such a pretty spot , I will be walking around the lakes in the next fortnight to sort all my caches. Just waiting for the hot weather to cool a little.
This is a great spot. I will sort this one out soon. Planning on a walk around the lakes as soon as the heat wave dissapates.
Hi sunshine58,
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

Had a look in a couple of places that I would hide a cache, but nothing found in either, will keep on my watchlist
We only spent a short amount of time here looking for this one, considering the caching credentials of previous DNF-ers, but a DNF for us also. With Shazza66
Looked around and around a few different spots but did not find anything particularly smelly that could lead me to the cache.....
sunshine58 I didn’t find your cache An Open Space on 20/4/2022, 10:32 am. Searched all the likely spots but came up empty.
Checked for this one today. Missing AGAIN. This has been replaced a few metres from original coordinates. Will update the hint also.
A planned weekend trip up to the sunshine coast to grab a few caches. I still need a few more to get me closer to that sunshine coast challenge. The trip worked in well for the Sunday morning CITO event in Coolum.
I meet up with Esmiley and we spent Saturday, day and night, caching areas that neither of us had been to before. We were not certain if the recent rains and floods would have effected any of the caches but we gave it a shot.
We first of hit the Sippy Downs area and we had some fun. Many of the caches here took much longer than they should have; we spent way too much time trying to find simple caches. We then moved around the area and then towards the north, working our way to Coolum. However, time ran out and we had to stop for the day. It seemed as though the day was getting hotter as it went on and got even worse during the night.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the caches, some I kept notes on, some were just great caches and some I really do not understand why. We signed all logs with both names and replaced as we found them.
Nice area to visit

Up at Nambour today for first badminton team event of 2022 and I didn't play too badly.
After taking many wrong turnings and long winded detours, I eventually managed to find the university at Sippy Downs to pick me up a few caches.
I had to wander around a bit before I spotted this cache. Thankfully there was no one around.
Thanks!!

Fun day with chamad aiming to get 150 caches to qualify for the Sunshine Coast Challenge . Picking up caches from Sippy Downs, went south to Meridan Plains, clear out DNFs in Currimundi and finishing up at Foote Sanctuary area.

It was PirateLinda who found where this cache was located but insisted I man up and retrieve the cache… a nice fresh log…
While I made our mark PirateLinda wandered off to admire the wildlife and water views… it’s pretty, but I wouldn’t want to live here… tftc…

Fairly quiet here today. With the new lock down imminent they might all be out stocking up on toilet paper again. TFTC.
Arrived to find just a logbook and open ziplock bag strewn in the open, so have replaced with a new logbook and micro container. ??
The clue was a big give away...but it's nice to pick up a few simple finds. Still loving the walk. Beautiful day out.
Out for afternoon dog walk with the geohound, thought I'd try for a couple of caches if the coast was clear and what do you know nobody here today. Think this baby could use a bit of tlc, a bit mouldy and damp. TFTC TNLNSL.
This one was tricky for me to find. And when I did it had ants all over it. It’s also very wet inside
I’m going to wash and dry all the things inside so it stays nice for when the next person finds it.
Up the Sunshine Coast ( no make that Rain Central) for a couple of days got an early start so decided to slip in to Sippy to clear a few remaining caches.
This one was resting in an ideal location.

I was very lucky with muggles today. I only had to wait for a few to pass by a couple of caches. Not a soul at most of the park based ones. [^]
Visiting this lovely district from the Gold Coast with geo friends hatzofff, RoddyC and grannysmith 1947.
Enjoying this lovely walk, such a pleasure to cache around here.

I really like this spot. A beautiful place to have a piknik and stare at the wildlife basking or singing merrily nearby.
I remember a field puzzle nearby here called 'eight tubes of superglue' that's still one of my favourite all time cache finds.
This place certainly deserves to be noticed with a geocache.
I was here when the co decided this would be a great spot for a cache, also her first hide too!
Have another favourite point sunshine58, well deserved for adding to the game so enthusiastically!

Found it! Swapped a treasure. Good little hiding spot. Our first day out with the kids searching. Thank you
1:28:00 PM. Parked nearby and walked over. A brief search to find the cache and a new table to sit at and sign the log. Took the TB to move on. We enjoyed our mornings walk and the new caches. Thanks for the cache sunshine58

A wonderful morning exploring with the grandkids. Gosh, but the wildlife is entertaining!
Continuing walking the paths around this area and this cache bought me to a beautiful spot. Just me and the ducks here this morning. Thanks Sunshine58.
A nice sunny day on the sunshine coast. A lovely walk to GZ. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Sunshine58. All good with this cache.
