Logs
I was going clockwise around the trail, so had to quickly figure the hint before another quick find here, TFTC
Cache is safe and dry. Thought it time to take a walk around here and check my caches
Just what we needed today, a stroll through some really nice bush to keep us out of the cold wind. And some smilies to add to the fun. Really enjoying our walk. Cache is all good. TFTC
Catie says looking umpar Louie says great camouflage but we forgot to bring a pen
Found it but only the log book which is soaking, no cache in sight. Sorry I don't have anything to fix it.
Another wander around this nice walkway late this afternoon in order to keep the streak going. TFTC
Cache 1353 A quick walk this morning with the dogs to nab todays cache for the “out and about” challenge, with the frost this morning it was quite chilly especially is the shade of the bush and a little slippery but that didn’t stop us, quick find as it was not quite in its hiding spot it was just sitting beside the track, signed the log and hid it back to where it should be according to the hint, cache is in good shape T4TC
No plan today. Just escaping the racing roar of Teretonga and random caching in the area. Another good caching day was had. TFTC
With truck and car races at Teretonga we decided to escape the area and do a bit of caching away from the noise.
Thank you for placing this cache.

This was a reasonably quick find as we neared the finish of our walk.
Thanks for putting this here

Out on a beautiful sunny day with Mr Cat and co. Such a lovely bush walk. We had to work out which leaning tree but soon had cache in hand. Tftc
Great hint, made finding it a bit more straight forward. Mr9 had this one in hand, and the log signed. We enjoyed finding a few painted rocks around the place while caching today
We came to the Otatara Reserve today to try our luck at the caches here. We were with the kids and Gabby59. Parked up and hit the track, was expecting to see heaps of people as the car park was all but full, but only saw a few. TFTC

Note to self look in every hidyhole there maybe something in there haha, great wee hiding spot ️
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up at the NZMCA Invercargill campsite for a couple of days, exploring in & around the area … we went for a bit of a drive this afternoon & thought it would be rude not to check out the caches at the Otatara Scenic Reserve … found with no issues, log completed & cache returned … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,222 for us.
Out with my sometimes helper Greg. Nice day to work of some of yesterday's calories. Cheers!
I need a certain number of caches today to meet a personal goal I have set for the next 12month period if Covid will allow. So I was out and about west of Invergiggle.
Got it.
Cheers for the cache.

A walk around the Otatara scenic reserve this evening. Nice quick find and sign. Now off to the next one. Thanks for the cache.
I had no idea where Dunn's Rd and the street were. I only knew that I was going clockwise so I need up relying on where my Garmin was taking me as far as what side to favour. It ended up been a quick find once I engaged my torch.
First Aid course revalidation this morning, so time for a cache or more before heading home.
First time around her was for the finds of the original caches. Remember getting within meters of a trio of kereru, who weren't at all concerned that we were watching.
Thanks for the cache Kiscardi

Such amazing birdsong! Maybe a kākāriki but definitely 5 tūī close by. One was the fattest ever. He must have been to Ziffs down the road and overindulged. We just had the antipasto platter, nom nom. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks. We were entertained by 5 tuis at this cache, great fun seeing them here. Fav Point for the fun.
Ms_KR and I are on the road to Southland to finish off the Southern PW GeoTour. Today we cruised around Invercargill. The place has changed a bit since we used to live there in the 80's, but then again it is still recognisable.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Still have some daylight left after doing the Big I series so stopped off here for a stretch of the legs. Another nice and easy cache find. tftc
Out for a brisk evening walk with the CO for a bunch of finds.
Last one. That's eight more finds today than I expected to get.
Chasing 1000 finds for the year. This helped the cause.
Thanks for being the tour leader Kiscardi

Sunday 1 November. Back to finish exploring Sandy Point today after a wet day Saturday.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.
