Logs
Like others, I likely walked past it on the way 2 the assumed hide....& found when I backtracked! T4TC:-)
The log is in tatters but at least it isnt wet. I didnt have a replacement log on me today ( its in the car). TftC
We have moved to Caboolture staying at the showgrounds for a few days.In the afternoon we did a couple of ALs & a few other caches that were nearby. Thanks for placing this cache Waz and Vik
My eyes were playing tricks on me here.Had already looked in this spot but didnt see the first time. Stood back and read some previous logs a hint and research and there it was! All ok here. TFTC!
Really wet today. Stopped in here after work. Nice quick find but ants had moved in underneath! Log is a bit tattered but able to sign. TFTC
Needs a new log, weather has affected it. Easy enough to find. Thanks for the cache!
Walked into the back of the houses and had track to ourselves. It was not too long before we added our name to the log. Tftc
Spotted out in the open, signed and replaced behind the post. Was only walking past with pen and phone so couldn't leave a fresh log sheet. Thanks for another cache.
One of the things that I can’t do without these days is my Akubra hat. I’m not even half as masculine as a cowboy but I do have the dad-bod to pull it off.
After we found the cache, we were walking away when I realised it wasn’t kissing my brow with its sweet sweet lips. Panic set in because I thought it must have fallen off near GZ.
I rushed back to look for it faster than certain cultures attack a seafood buffet. I couldn’t find it anywhere and really started panicking more than my grandmother with an overdue library book. It wasn’t anywhere around so I ran back to the car to find it making out with its sweet sweet lips to the back seat of my car. tftc

On a brisk Saturday morning I headed north to pick up a few caches and enjoy the great outdoors. After finding a good spot to park the car it was a short walk to ground zero where it didn’t take long to locate the prize. Log extracted and a mark made of prosperity. Returned the cache safely to its hiding place and then on to the next challenge.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

Our last cache in this section of Central Lakes. Shazzar66 sped to GZ and made the quick find before I even started looking.
We’ve started signing as ShaDup (sounds like shut-up). Not sure if this one was signed ShaDup or Shazzar66 and Duppers. Nevertheless, all good with this cache. Thanks for the hide Waz and Vik

Headed out with Duppers for the afternoon.
Decided to hit a few around Caboolture. This one made for a quick find. Signed as ShaDup to save room.

Found the cache in the first place we looked. All good although the logbook is getting a little bit tatty. TFTC
A nice quick find here. We were surprised by the heat emanating from the sound barrier as we signed the log. Quite a selection of trinkets in this, considering its size. Thanks Waz and Vik
The cache was lying in the open so it was an easy find. I replaced it back out of muggle sight.

Waz and Vik I found your cache Highway hide on 31/8/2022, 11:00 am. This is my find 4043 and find # 4 today. A quick and easy ride by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
had a visit with geoson, who lives close by, and a nice quiet trail along a busy area, this was found after GPSr wanted me about 20 metres west of actual hide, not sure if cloud cover or trees which caused it to misbehave, but geosense kicked in and an easy find was made, Thanks Waz and Vik, all is in good condition here
Out to continue my little personal challenge. It is getting harder to find caches in my area so it means a drive to collect what I need. Today I found the perfect little group of 6 caches even if it was in Caboolture. I took the bike thinking it would be quicker but it turns out a drive and a little walk was just as good. All caches in this group were found easily enough, some did take some looking but I had no major issues with any, thanks.
This was the next one on the list for today, I parked near the walk way entrance and wondered around. It was an easy find here with the help of the hint, thanks. I signed the log and replaced the cache as found and walked back to the car. Thanks for the cache and the hide, all good with this one.

Another playday with Peppa, PirateLinda, and Davinells finding caches to help DV reach a milestone.
Decided to drive to these ones and use the easements to access walking path. A quick find SL then returned as found.
Found on 27 May 2022. TFTC, Waz and Vik.

Out for the day with PirateLinda, Patrol14 and Davinells with the goal of getting numbers for an upcoming Milestone… With the Urban Safari starting in Petrie tomorrow we decided to target Caboolture and surrounds…
Logs signed Wadda Mooli, WM, PL - P14 - DAV - Peppa or some combination of all of them…
We drove this circuit, which I don’t feel guilty about at all…
Patrol14 made the find here… tftc…

Out and about in Caboolture today with Peppa, patrol14 and PirateLinda chasing numbers to reach our next milestone.
We probably should have walked this route...but the car was a better option today. I’m doing parkrun tomorrow so that’ll make up for it. Some of us looked on one side but then patrol14 came from behind and found it on the other side.
Tftc Log signed as Wadda mooli.

Thanks for this fun hide Waz and Vik. Another different type of container which the kids with us enjoyed finding.
Today, I started out the day with a visit to Caboolture finding a cluster of geocaches around Central Lakes Park. Subsequently, the plan was a kayak paddle in Pumicestone Channel as per the organised event by Peppa and patrol14. We then used the occasion to find a few geocaches in the *Little Bird* series by kayak. After lunch, we then formed a small group to continue to find a few more *Little Bird* series geocaches by vehicle and walking, before we all had to rush home from taking a long day out.
This was my final cache within this area, as time had run out for me and I needed to make my way east to start to prepare for my kayaking. After jogging from my westerly parked position, I started to search, and soon found the cache about waist height. Unfortunately, the cache's attachment mechanism has come off, but otherwise, the cache container and logbook were in good shape (although its protective bag has ripped). I ended up replacing the cache back down to be consistent with the hint. Thanks Waz and Vik for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Coming up to Sandstone point to visit family. We always aim to get a few while in the area or on the way (and the way home). After all the rain and flooding of late, we can confirm that all is good with this cache.
After grabbing a coffee Alycem89, YouTubemouseboy and myself decided to stay in the area and grab some caches despite the rain.
We continued down the path to grab this cache and within seconds we had it in our hands.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Found this cache with my family today. Second we had found amongst this footpath, pretty quick to find.TFTC!!!
Day Four (where does the time go?) of our Beachmere house sit. Today we had to head over to Caboolture for the vampire at the hospital, then visit sister around the corner.
Several caches had popped up in the area since we had camped our caravan in the estate a few years ago.
9 metres off the mark, on the other side, this cache awaited my stamp. Thankws Waz and Vik for the hide. 3/3 today, too hot to chase any more.

Out and about with my eldest this morning we made a detour to collect these 3 caches. This one was a quick find and sign, then back to the car for the next one. Tftc Waz and Vik
Finally catching up on doing some logging I was out for a day of caching fun with IolantheK. We found a variety of cache types and a few adventure labs. Even though it was quite a hot day, we had quite a bit of fun
Thank you Waz and Vik for creating the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Out with Just a Trifle on a pretty hot day, leisurely collecting geocaches and Adventure Labs.
We did consider walking all the way along the path, but with the sun beating down we opted for as much air con as possible! This one was accessed from Ralston Street, and I made the find. TFTC, Waz and Vik.

Been a while since we collected the Wonders of the World, but realise that we still have 2 left. And as luck (planning) would have it, we left the remaining two Wonders within a 2 km walk of home. So time to go knock these over!
Cache 2 this morning. Not one of the wonders we needed, but always willing to pick up an extra smiley when we can.
Container is in good condition and now has our name in it .

Found it with Geograndkids on 11 December 2020 at 9:30. First day of holidays for me. 5 and a half weeks off. A goal of lots of caches to be found over the next few weeks. Good start to the day today. Find number 795 was first today. TFTC SL TNLN
It's so satisfying to convert blue to a smiley ️ . All's good at gz . Thanks Waz and Vik
After 10 minutes of searching only found what could be the remains of ( other ) type of cache . No smiley for me today
Continuing my walk asking the path this is another cache I stopped to look for. Cache found but the outer casing has fallen off and was on the ground. The log was still dry and in place. I have put the outer casing below for maintenance as I could not reattach it. Thanks Waz and Vik.
Spending father's day with the husband and 3 kids. We decided to go somewhere close to home to grab a few caches and spend some time together. These caches have been in my to do list with the kids for a little while so it was the perfect time to get them done.
When the skies are cloudy the gps is not happy! Stupid thing wouldn't make its mind up and of course my actual gps had flat batteries! But after some time to stop and let it do its thing we soon found it. Well hubby did... and I was about 10m away from GZ TFTF

“I travelled round Australia on Highway #1, I travelled round Australia just to have some fun” and when we got to this cache we stopped to see something (ok ok I work with kids so of course this got in my head).
Wombles quickly made the cache find here. Luckily for her I hadn’t thought about this song at that stage
Thanks for the cache Waz and Vik.

Lovely walk to this one, with my dog today, I quickly spotted the cache and signed the log. TFTC
1Minniemoo and I were collecting wonders and filling in map gaps, so headed out this way to pick up some caches for us both and a couple of extras for 1mm.
Again not the container we were expecting and it didn't quite match the hint, unusual container though!

Had visited before without quite spotting it, and today I can see why. It needs the finder to be looking at just the right angle. Glad to get my name on the log

You could feel the heat from the highway wall as you stepped near. Soon had the cache in hand. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Waz and Vik. All good with this cache.
At first I was led to the wrong side of the tracks but after some recalibration I approached GZ and made a quick find. TFTC.
had a few hours to spare so decided to come here with my push bike and find a few caches. i ended up finding 11 and a 13 km bike ride. I was able to ride here so fast and at gz I stopped real quick to reflect on where this cache could be and I found it as quick as. thanks for the fun
I came back to grab these two after I got muggle out the other day.

After an exhausting week at work due to the end/beginning of the financial year, I was chomping at the bit to get outside today into some fresh air and hunt down a few caches. Couldn't have picked a better day for it, it was certainly Goldilocks weather - not too hot and not too cold, even with the wind blowing. Although the main reason for my trip over this side of town was a bust, I did pick up quite a few others including this one.
Not a particularly auspicious effort on this one on my behalf. I was pretty well at GZ before I realised that I had left my phone back in the car. While I had a general idea of where I was heading, I was never going to narrow down the search without it. So back to the car and again off to GZ. Here I compounded my error by searching the right place but completely overlooking the cache. After checking a few other spots, I returned to look again, this time rectifying my earlier gaff. TFTC

The high wall behind the trees on one side protected us from the wind, so it was a lovely walk. We stopped for a chat with two friends who are living along this footpath.
