Was pleased to find this in the same place as when I was others that found it quite some time ago. Made for a nice quick find. Thank you for placing this cache.
Gorgeous drive. Cute hide. My girlfriends first catch. Love the kissyfriends xoxo
A bit of nostalgia here for me - as well as being my first cache back home in Australia for the year after many weeks of travel overseas. Opposite on the road here is where I worked every summer for the late '80s and early '90s as a teenager picking cherries and raspberries! Not strawberries as per the cache name - I've never picked strawberries - though there are plenty around now. Thanks for the cache.
Went on the road together with BJJ from Australia and transferred the lessons from Geocache. Thanks for laying these caches, we also have some in the Netherlands you are very welcome.
Lovely views across the fields. Now I feel like strawberries and cream. Bring on summer please!
We found this cache today on our Seville and Surrounds Midday Run. After completing maintenance on our nearby cache, we decided to see what else was around and this was the first stop. A lovely area. Thanks from D & HA B-A
What do you do on St Valentine's Day? You take your love for a drive in the country. Oh look! There's a geocache ahead. I'll just stop and grab it. Ah! The romance.
Thanks wesfab.
Thanks wesfab.
Strawberry Fields Forever…
Heymissjo and I were a little disappointed that there were no Beatles here today.
But I did leave my trademark ‘Ringo Starr’
I do wonder what the occupants of the farmhouse must think of the regular pilgrimages made to this corner of their field as they watch from the comfort of their lounge room couch.
Thanks for the convenient drive by placement, it was appreciated today.

It’s funny you know The Welder and I woke up this morning after a much needed sleep in and agreed on our agenda ahead.. a few errands and then back home to knock off some much needed chores and projects…. But we hit a problem…. We stopped for a cache… now that was about four hours ago…
You might wonder why that is a problem? Well you see.. who stops with just one!!! Here we are still caching and those agreed secure plans for the afternoon went out the window! Lol…
Nice to be able to travel some backroads and collect some caches. This was one of them… a nice quick find. Thanks for the cache wesfab!

What a great way to start the year than with a bout of cherry picking. Turns out cherry picking has become quite popular and you actually need to book a session with the group across the road. Fortunately we had and I have to say it was well organised and delicious (although I may have overdone it given I've been sick and eating very little for the past few days). With full tummies we returned to the car and my thoughts turned to geocaching - "what's around here?" Strawberry fields of course! A nice quick find for us. TFTC
Having enjoyed some of the strawberries on a pavlova for dinner last night, i thought I should have a look for this cache. A nice easy find for Boxing Day, TFTC

Cool hiding spot, happy the sun has come back out after some hail earlier in the day.

The Blind Side was taking me on a tour of where he used to live and work and his plan was to grab caches in all these places so this brought us here as he had lived at Wandin North back in 1994. It was a quick park and grab in the most obvious location. Still a nice hide TFTC
I found myself in the area after making a wrong turn .. and there was the cache and I was able to park right next to it .. a nicely placed cache .. Unfortunatley a strange old man drove up and decided to park very close after I got back into the car and wouldn’t let me leave.. moving forward as I started to go and then backwards as I reversed to leave .. when I picked up the phone, he took off .. very strange.. Thanks wesfab for a nicely placed cache ..
Thanks for the Cache Wesfab,
Such beautiful rich soil out here, some freshly plowed looks like Chocolate! Can't wait to eat the produce!
Regards from Victourer

An early morning trip to drop two family members to work at the lavender farm nearby, so I swung past to find this one.
A quick find of the neatly placed cache, but the container was empty.
I signed and placed a replacement log sheet.

Great find for our 30th cache!! Such a clever hide, unfortunately no log to sign. Thank you for the cache
Today, I brought one of my colleagues along caching with me after we both finished work, as we were meeting with others from work for dinner at the Pig and Whistle, but we had three hours to kill.
She was amazed at how small the nano inside the bison was! It was great to show her a variety of different caches, as she has been hearing about my adventures for some time!

Thanks wesfab. My stubby fingers couldn't write on the world's smallest logbook so I took a snap. I also didn't follow your 'Sunday drive tip' - hey, hey it's Saturday. Giddy up.
Thanks to wesfab for this hide, we have been impressed with the volume of strawberry farms and they certainly seem to go on forever.
The nearby paddock was just green today.
A brilliant day for caching and we were enjoying our time on the road.

Going for a drive and happened to stop just near this cache. Can't miss an opportunity could I?
After going to the Market Day morning session at the nearby Warratina Lavender Farm, we saw this cache was fairly near by on the car GPS so headed off here. I have a brand new phone as of yesterday so it wouldn’t let me sign in to c:geo and the handheld GPS was having trouble finding satellites. GMelb wandered around then spotted something which apparently matched the hint (that we hadn’t been able to see yet) and found the cache - Yey ... Step 1 completed ... well now the challenge started, the log was well and truly jammed in the container and we hadn’t brought our full caching kit so no extractor. We both had a go trying to extract the log and looked for a little twig or something but no luck. Finally I was able to get the log out, just as we saw a Senior Gentlman approaching. We thought he was just out for a walk but it turned out he was the owner of the house on the other side of the field and wanted to know what we were doing. He wasn’t really annoyed as such but just a bit indignant that someone had put something in his post without asking him. We were trying to show him about geocaching but our devices still weren’t playing the game. We talked about the view and he seemed a bit placated but it might be a nice gesture to visit him, maybe and thank him for the use of his post? Eventually we got connected and suggested he look up Geocaching and maybe find some himself to which he replied he didn’t need to go look for other views, he had a wonderful one himself lol
PS The grass has been mown and is now hay bales - see attached photo.
TFTC wesfab, hope this hasn’t caused any problems! Just the timing of him looking out his window at the wrong time, coupled with the log being hard to extract, otherwise we would have been on our way before he arrived! GJMMelb

Out with Omegaman1971 to do a few caches in the area, felt good to be caching in My old stomping ground. It was a warm day for it and we enjoyed the drive around in the Yarra Valley.
This was one of the caches we found today. A quick find today, the road was busy as due to some event.
Thanks wesfab for the cache.

Not really many strawberries to be found amongst the long grass. Luckily we didn't have to go into it as it is a beautiful day and we were sure the snakes would be liking it also. Thanks for the cache.
Another glorious day to be out and about caching.
Thankfully we didn’t have to go into all that long grass cause that looks like a snakes paradise. The attachment was quickly spotted and log signed and returned to it’s hidey spot.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, wesfab

Cache logged with sanitised hands.

It's so nice to be able to go a little further afield! We took an afternoon drive to Seville for the kids to have a run around the playground/waterpark (yes, I know it's only 11 degrees - the kids just couldn't resist taking shoes and socks off and running the gauntlet trying not to get completely soaked!) On the way to Silvan Reservoir park we stopped to get this cache. I like hides like this, thanks.
It was a rare visit for us to this area on other business so we could not resist checking out a couple of caches. To our surprise apparently we are STF. We will have to return in the berry season for some treats. TFTC.
Yay, our first FTF!!! Saw this come out yesterday and thought someone else would have nabbed it, but it was still up for grabs today so it was a good excuse for a drive. Thanks.
Don't you hate that. We drove past this road, just get home and this gets published - next time
