----------### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###----------Hi there nordic ned,It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. Nice overcast day. Great day for out exploring.

This one was a tricky one to get to - blackberries, steep paths, slippery grass. Luckily there were five of us beating the path and watching each other’s backs. SL at 12.20pm with MarknDee and Hans from Hans and Linda. It felt like a bit more than a D2T2, but happy to say we all made it safely up and back down to where Linda from Hans and Linda was waiting patiently for us to appear. #8564 TFTC nordic Ned - we think!!!

Yes, we found it and sighed the log at 12:20 with Harrowang and HansandLinda. I think Harrowang gave an apt description of the challenge faced, but we also noticed an excellent example of Cherry Ballarst whilst scrambling. Thank you for the find Nordic Ned.

TFTC. Day 11 of our enforced layover in Albury as the Motorhome gets repairs. Looks like we will be here for another week.
We are making the most of our opportunities. Today there was an event in Mount BeUty, hosted by good friend Smittengranny. After the event we spent some time exploring via various geocaches around own. After a bite to eat we headed back to camp in Albury.
Ran into Harrowang and Dee and Mark here. It should certainly be more than a terrain 2.

Day 7, and the final day of the Magnificent Mount Beauty Caching Festival.

Just the final four today to complete a wonderful caching celebration. We have almost come to the end of our holiday and reluctantly look to returning to Melbourne (and leaving this happy COVID-free bubble of normality).

This was the 1st of the four and I arrived still before dawn with a torch in hand, although this wasn’t really needed. I took the CO’s advice and approached from the north. I also followed the CO’s intention (or my interpretation at least) and skipped under the non-electrified fence for the clear path up the hill to the cache.

Easy!

Feeling in need of adventure I took the southern route down, which turned into a bit of a scrambling nightmare! On reflection, the eastern face may have been a better option.

Out with BettyBoo3747 to collect a couple of Wonders around Mt Beauty.
Nice to get out and about after so long.
The weather was a bit iffy, but not enough to stop caching.

Nothing gradual about the track up this hill!
At least it was a lot shorter than the one in Eldorado the other day!
Nice views from th top too.
Thanks, Robmc.

#17430. We are trying to get the few things done that we want to, before School Holidays start today. Seem to have managed this today with a trip to Mount Beauty. Eleven caches done, 1 x 3TF, 3 x 2TF, the last two Wonders achieved (we think) and picked up 2 TB's to move along. A bike ride to make getting to The Junction shorter and a long walk in the rain to get 3 caches on the way to the Gorge. A good day.

Not so sure the difficulty of this cache is a 2 Terrain unless you approach from the lush green paddock on the other side of the fence to GZ. Rather than going short and sharp up we took an easier meander to the top and it was hard work dodging blackberries and the odd wombat hole. Nice landscape from GZ. Left a pathtag here today.

Thanks nordic ned
