Super quick find after attending the post card day event. Found with Elliot13. TFTC
Found the cache after an event in mapua, found with aalis_01 also dropped off a trackable into the cache TFTC
We were biking from Motueka to Mapua and return. Really enjoyed this cache and the history of the surrounding area. TFTC

Found with my Grandson. An easy find this time other than the wind which was determined to blow the cache contents into the water.
All settled into our spot and I set out for a quick bike ride even though the winds were about 50KPH. Well, that's how they felt. Found this easily. Suprised it hasn't been muggled.
On holiday for the week - nice quiet evening stroll around Mapua and memories of late eighties family trips to the leisure park and seeing more than I needed to see at a young age! TFTC!
Found at correct height. What a glorious walk on a sunny day. I had intended a day off today after achieving find #1000 yesterday, but you know how it is... No pen so a photo of my hand on the cache will need to suffice. Thanks.
Merry Xmas. Here visiting friends with family so couldn't think of anything better to earn the beer and food this hot afternoon, than by going for a big caching wander. As per advice found at near GL in open and replaced at knee height - has a bit better coverage there to. TFTC.

Day 9 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today we are in the area and surrounding area of Nelson. We also visited this tradi, found it, and signed the logbook.

On holiday from UK visiting family as well, picked up this one while doing the adventure lab. Nice easy find once at GZ. TFTC.
Staying in the nearby campground and leisurely wandering into town. Quick find in between vehicles in both directions.

Parked up and walked out to look for the cache and do the A.L. No problems finding the cache and yes it was hiding lower than I expected. TFTC

Couldn’t find where I hopped it would be. Not wearing the right shoes to risk going down the rocks.
After my DNF a free minutes ago I decided to go and get hubby to do the tricky part. Sure enough cache was in hand but oh no I’ve lost my pen. I had some lipstick so had to use that. Sorry as it doesn’t look great!

Quick find, cache container lying out of cluster. Log all good, dry as a chip. Put back among lombardy stems, tftc.
I managed to find this one, along with the final Mapua Memories AbLab. As often happens, the container wasn’t what I was expecting to find, but satisfying nonetheless {note to self: stop it with the expectations already }. Log was dry & generously sized. TFTC & a special thanks for keeping it maintained 
Found at ground level. My hubbies rock climbing skills came in handy. Lovely calm day today. Beautiful place. Lived in Mapua 40 years ago. Big changes since then. Thanks for the cache.

After completing the Abel Tasman great Walk we spent another couple of days in the Nelson area. Went to Takaka via Mapua and a great coffee. Some of the team split up so while a couple of us shopped, Keylev and MrNZT made this quick find. TFTC!
Was planning on heading to Takaka for the day but stopped in this area for some coffee and of course some caches.

We're staying at the nearby campsite, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover a cache just 200m away! Quick and easy find on a Xmas Eve!
A quick find whilst out on an early morning walk with Tregearp. All in good condition. Thanks andy.gail for the cache.
We'd searched for this one sometime a go when over in Mapua in Summer but it was muggle central so not an option, while catching up with friends locally we stayed at the nearby camp site and so were up at 5:30, surprisingly barring a few boaties on the challenge no one else was around so a quick find, thanks andy.gail for the cache and some background on the history of the causeway.
