TFTC First I was like, nahh no way, then I saw it and was glad I risked it for the biscuit.
It feels like months since weve ventured out to grab some caches, so we finally made the effort to head out to grab some, and boy oh boy, we couldnt have picked a better day! Despite it still being winter its feeling a little spicy here in SEQ and with a taste of spring in the air we made the most of it.We only managed to squeeze in a couple of hours due to Jensens whinging and carrying on, I guess he wasnt as fond of caching like us after all, oh well!Nice quick find. Signed log and replaced the cache as found afterwards.x1 TB removed. Thanks for bringing us here.#4423 - TFTC
Geocaching out with Woodwahdi this saturday to get some smileys and the weather is beautiful. This is find 73 for me and find 4 today. This cache was somewhat difficult to retrieve but I did it with a pair of scissors and a pencils. Please note that you should bring a TOTT (tweezers) to get this cache. it is also uncovered but otherwise all good. left it uncovered as unsure of exactly how to cover it. tftc
What a beautiful and peaceful spot with a seat in the perfect location to take in the view of the lake and the abundant bird life. Thank you Sunshine 58 for putting it there.
Found it. Lovely little spot was unsure if it was originally meant to have a cover or not. Spent some time trying to retrieve and gave up and had to drive back with something to retrieve it.Was surprised to find a completely unopened log suggesting last real find was in 2022.Thanks for the cache all is well with this one.
Found today, while up on Sunshine Coast looking to fill some hidden dates, and any nearby caches at same time. This was one of the nearby caches, Thanks sunshine58, all is in good condition here today
Okay, so the day started at 6am so that we could catch a few caches to help the geo-dad (Cliff5009) fill in a few holes in his Hidden Dates chart.
A bit of a drive up Bruce Highway early on a spring morning, during the school holidays, so traffic was not too bad.
So this was cache 11 for the day.
Moved the car again, parked real close - within 20 metres of GZ. Found GZ and had to look a bit for this one. Nice views of the lakes here.
Spotted the cache before geo-dad, and grabbed it.
It now has our squiggles in the log.
Thank you very much for placing this cache.

Quick and easy find, close to the water. Peaceful by name, peaceful by nature. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely spot. TFTC
#10 while out on the geo-scooter in Sippy Downs, with Duppers. TFTC, TFTH, TNLNSL & TFT
Another lovely spot and once again not as per hint. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches.
I’m glad this was a lovely spot to spend some time as we fruitlessly searched for a small in a paperbark only to find that it was a micro in a different type of tree altogether. We were entertained by four cygnets swimming about in front of us as we signed the log. Thanks sunshine58
Left the car near Amongst Nature and went for a little trek along the lakes to find some others. This indeed was a peaceful spot with a great view of the water. Searched all the paperbarks first as per the hint but then found it in another type. Snug little hole in plain sight - clever. Hope it stays put, sounds like you've had some trouble with wandering here.
I wore my good waterproof bushwalking shoes so feet stayed dry but did end up with a lot more freckles on my legs by the end thanks to the muddy splatters from the grass.

Once again this one was missing. Replaced a couple of metres from original. Will update new hint.
sunshine58 I found your cache A Peaceful Spot on 18/4/2022, 3:25 pm. This is my find 3371 and find # 10 today. Not the quickest find. Read previous logs so you search in the right area. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found it... But think we found the MIA one as last record was by SSS in October. Tftc. Will write note to the owner
Just sending another photo to give you a bit of perspective as to were we found old cache. Didn't see the replacement one today.
A planned weekend trip up to the sunshine coast to grab a few caches. I still need a few more to get me closer to that sunshine coast challenge. The trip worked in well for the Sunday morning CITO event in Coolum.
I meet up with Esmiley and we spent Saturday, day and night, caching areas that neither of us had been to before. We were not certain if the recent rains and floods would have effected any of the caches but we gave it a shot.
We first of hit the Sippy Downs area and we had some fun. Many of the caches here took much longer than they should have; we spent way too much time trying to find simple caches. We then moved around the area and then towards the north, working our way to Coolum. However, time ran out and we had to stop for the day. It seemed as though the day was getting hotter as it went on and got even worse during the night.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the caches, some I kept notes on, some were just great caches and some I really do not understand why. We signed all logs with both names and replaced as we found them.

Fun day with chamad aiming to get 150 caches to qualify for the Sunshine Coast Challenge . Picking up caches from Sippy Downs, went south to Meridan Plains, clear out DNFs in Currimundi and finishing up at Foote Sanctuary area.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here sunshine58. We were about to give up but found it in the last place we looked.

With a date like this, how could i not possibly come out again and write this palandromic oddity and in doing so, score myself another souvenir.
For today is the twenty second of february 2022, or in other words 22/02/2022.
One less than the ultimate set of twos in two hundred years.
Thanks sunshine58 for choosing a nice peaceful spot well worthy of a favourite point.

Once again Peppa was a little more persistent than I. While he continued searching I took a seat on the strategically placed sitting spot. Oh The Serenity . Great determination Peppa - log signed . Although a heads up as it was about 10m West of where our co-ords had us
Another cache that I was ready to walk away from… we’d checked the hint… read the logs… noted the relevant info… walked back and forth… up and down… PirateLinda suggested “down there”, even though “down there” didn’t match the T rating…
At the point where I was ready to walk… but just happened to spot the cache… d’oh…
We found the cache about 9-10m West of GZ…

Photo won't load. But a large goanna was having a sunbake, whilst a lizard was having a float in the water.
As we approached we disturbe a large lizard - was it a goanna? It then disappeared over the stone bank into the water - hopefully not hunting birds eggs. TFTC.
Certain was a peaceful spot.
Once the cache was in hand the log was signed and replaced as found.

I tried way to hard for this one...but when my partner stepped up she found it immediately in the most obvious spot. Log was a little damp but all signed.
Finally I found this one. The coordinates were not quite right and I looked on multiple days in the wrong place. Today I checked right in Front of me TFTC
No doubt the cache is still there somewhere and we were just having one of those days. The heat and spiky plants had taken their tool and we were caching like wusses. We will be back to avenge one day
Pleasant stroll with the dogs and some friends with the goal on hunting caches in mind. Disheartened by being unable to find the cache at our first location we kept onto the next and after a bit of looking the female of our group found the cache, I guess we were all having a mans look XD
A lovely peaceful spot to enjoy nature and to find a cache. We were scratching our heads as to where this was. About to leave when I spotted it. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Sunshine58. All good with this cache.
Up the Sunshine Coast on what was forecast as a full on rain event day. Seems this area didn't get the memo today. After a fun filled morning riding our fat bikes from Coolum to Sunshine Beach I decided to drop in an clear a few caches in this area fro the afternoon.
- an enjoyable therapeutic experience.

Even on this relatively busy Sunday morning this spot was very peaceful. Saw a black swan nesting nearby and lots of other birdlife doing bird things peacefully! Thanks for the short rest here with my penultimate cache of the day.
A very peaceful spot indeed sunshine58.
All the local waterfowl made a beeline for us expecting a feed as we signed the log.
