Looked in every possible place but no joy. Found a place where it might have been and have messaged CO to confirm.
There are 6 seats in the park and surrounds. My phone said it was 24 m away when I found it. Thanks.
My early morning ferry was cancelled, so I had to take a later one. I noticed there were several caches close to my motel. What should I do? I have some spare time and nearby caches to be found. Wait. I'm thinking. I'm thinking...
I walked over for this one and took others logs to heart. I still needed to do an exhaustive search before I found it. TFTC.

Macfam41 found it finally as cache was at the west end not east. Replaced as it should be. Agree with previous posts. GZ is 20mtr away from cache coordinates but still pretty obvious. TFTC.
Once we got to the general area it was a matter of elimination to find the cache. Only so many places it could be! TFTC
2nd visit. Beautiful sunny day and nobody around. Plenty of time as the bike is in getting serviced.
Thanks
Thanks
Quick find once we had sorted the correct gz. There were 3 options and it was the final option that we had success. Always a good trick, tftc.
Took us awhile, so this was a great find when we got finally. Very clever, good work!
Out with my Niece Beckyboo. Yeap. Co orda are off and cache description is not correct.... But still easy to find.
Since I was working at work today, I thought this cache might be a good one to grab on the way home. Had trouble finding it - not where I expected a bolt to be. Still, any night cache is a good night cache!
Some serious cache creep here! Assuming the COs coordinates were accurate then some bugger picked up and moved the entire picnic table, along with its concrete slab! The cache was found over 20m away!

I've been biding my time, waiting for the right moment to avenge my previous DNF. Tonight I had to take that chance, as my first choice of cache was MIA.
A very quick find, and the cache is in pristine condition. The metal pin to the logsheet is a nice touch.
Thanks for keeping this one going.

A nice find today with Demaoniac and the LollieQueen. A few meters out at GZ but easy enough thanks to your hint. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this geocache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
#13,021. Park, walk and grab in Melling, Lower Hutt. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find, after widening the area … by some 25 metres. Good hide. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Quick easy find here today not many muggles at all in this area. Thanks for the cache
Quick easy find today no mugglrs here today which made it a lot easier to search for. Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache the last one I need to complete my wonders of the world series. Quick easy find here today.
Found it pretty quickly. Forgot a pen so have taken a picture of log for proof.
Yup, this one is missing.I remember the cache as I had done a pre-find especially for a day when I didn't want to go caching - like today (moving house tomorrow, need to finish packing). Searched all over in case it had been move. Nope.
I do have a spare at home, can have a replacement in in a few days.

Out and about on a "Sunday Drive" (in spite of it being a Saturday) with my other half, we ended up driving around Maungaraki and Normandale and then back over to Melling, so naturally decided to stop and see if we could find a cache or two.
After 2 DNFs in a row, I was hoping for a nice easy find here. Firstly, the co-ords are not as accurate as they could be, but given that the cache page describes where the cache is I guess that should not be a problem. The real problem is that I think the cache has gone AWOL.
I'll keep an eye on this one with interest.

Familiar spot as I have found (and DNFed) earlier caches here.
No workers or other muggles around today.
As others have mentioned coordinates are out. Averaged ones I got were S 41 12.649 E 174 53 717.
As there weren't many hint items it didn't take long to find the correct one.
Recognised the cache quite quickly as I have seen this type before.

Very cool cache container.... may or may not have spent a wee while fondling the wrong spot but whoops.
After exploring the wrong place for a bit we had the cache quickly signed and returned so we could retreat to the warm car
Found on an evening with brownies. Coordinates are a little off but easy find! #girlguidingnz
I was keen to quickly find a cache after work before the rain set in. This mission worked out perfectly.
There were lots of cars around but I didn't notice any that were occupied so I thought I would give it a go. I could have made life easier by reading the description but I managed to track down the treasure without too much bother despite the inaccurate coordinates. I had not seen a container like this before; it's very cool .

Beautiful sunny day great to be out in the Hutt , easy find and gorgeous little camo cache
The coordinates ate way off, so it was a search of the hint objects. Success after number 3. All good here. TFTC
We found it!!! The co-ordinates were very off but the clue was really helpful!
Mum is helping me log all my caches that I haven't logged yet.Found with Mum (LL113) and Dad (GNARwhal).
Ermahgersh this has to be one of my favourite containers!
Found with the Ever Stealthy UnicornLex and Ever Wonderful Lissyloo113

Super cute cache! Miss 8 (UnicornLex) wants one! Love what they’ve done to the area. Used to be just a patch of grass. TFTC
My 100th cache! Such a wonderful little cache to mark the occasion on a wonderful sunny day too. TFTC
Found by the hint as the co-ords were a bit out. Nice camo container, thanks CO for the cache.
Came to seek this cache with Talla64 on a beautiful sunny summer's day. The co-ords took us to an open area of grass, but a read of the hint quickly produced the goods. Nice container. Our 2 GPS's gave us S41 12.650 E174 53.717. No muggles about today. Thanks for hiding a cache here Airship422.
Found today with Flowerydaze while on a caching trip to Petone. The coords were a little out but a quick read of the hint and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC Airship422
#8841. I swung by this park a couple of months ago to locate the cache. But the are was fenced off and it was a work site. Was not sure if the refresh of the park was completed but decided to check it out as thought it might not be too busy here on Christmas Day. It was great timing. The park is reopened for business and being a public holiday the traffic volume was light and there was no-one around. I went to GZ but its in an area of open grass. Read the description and headed to the two objects. After a short search I felt the object of interest. Cool cache container. Can't remember finding one like this before. Log was soon signed and everything replaced as found. Thanks Airship422 for hiding the cache here.
WE are in wellington over the Christmas period for Christmas dinner etc etc. and thought i would gather a couple more caches around the area and checking through the unfound i found this cache which i had found some time ago so this a is a rather late log My memory of it was that it was raining and there was work being done around the site.
thank you for this cache

In the area this evening so stopped y here for a break and a quick find of this wee one. Very cute container, haven't seen one like that before (originally thought it must have been a typo in the description, but no). TFTC.
The rain has stopped so a lunch time stroll. Can’t wait to have this park back to normal, but a construction site.
Found with woolwood9 today.
Co-ords well out but cache soon found with description.

Quick find on way to a Hutt Adventure (literally) with Infoferret. Awesome wee container, thanks Airship422!
When I got here at 4pm there was no one about, they had either gone home for the day or given it away due to the rain. It didn't take me long to decide where the cache was probably hidden and I found it in the second place I looked. TFTC.
A quick stop on the way home from work this evening (8.15pm) to qualify for this years International Geocaching Day souvenir. Nice container Thought I might have trouble with the council works at GZ but the hiding space is outside the fences, so all good.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found on a short cycle around Petone and back to Melling. The container - absolutely delightful. TFTC
Loved the container- haven't seen any like it before.
And good addition to the new trail.

(# 5910). Early Sunday morning is a good time to grab a few caches. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
I went in with agcnz's coords which took me directly to the cache for an immediate find. I haven't seen one of these containers in the wild before and I wondered how big they were. Now I know! I wish there was a "small" size version of these because that would be great a go-to small cache container. Anyway, no probs here (apart from trying to cross to road again when I was done) so TFTC.
Out in the Valley this morning with a bit of time to spare so I decided to come and have a look for this one. Didn't take too long to find but had to make use of the hint as the coordinates were 22 metres out for me. I have included a more accurate set, taken and averaged using a good Garmin GPSr. I had thought at first that the cache might have been inside the fenced-off area where contractors were working but no, it was in the clear. Liked the dinky little container, you don't see those very often. Signed log, TFTC
Saw this new cache pop up yesterday, but was working late, so instead popped around this afternoon. Not many people out and about with the weather as it is, and timed it perfectly as the last contractor on site packed up and left for the day. A quick find and a very cute little cache. The fur monsters also enjoyed the quick run around. TFTC
FTF@1724!
After shutting down my work apps for the day I switched over and saw the notification sitting in my inbox. Hmm, quite close - in an area I'm familiar with (but not as much now given the amount of change going on here). Jumped in the car and headed over and managed to get a park nearby. Took a while to eventually locate but got there in the end. A neat little container. Opened up to find a blank log sheet, so success! Signed and replaced. All good here. Hope you have more luck with this location than I did. TFTC
