Found this cache after a fair bit of looking while on a walk with mum yesterday. But as we didnt plan it I had not brought a pen, back today to finish the job off. Nice little hide. Tftc!!
A park and grab as I start to head north again after a CITO at Sellicks Hill. The cache was in the first place I looked, but only after returning to it for a third time after checking all the other spots too. Quite a few dog walkers out this morning, but not really the weather for other beach activities. Thanks for this cache ThielFinders.
Jesus that is evil, looked looked like a screw and it was dark so I had to use flashlight on my phone, TFTC
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Aldinga for a few days and ranging from there to grab some finds. After scouring the roof for a good ten minutes we were about to log a dnf. Then we decided to check the ground and there it was. Thanks for the hide LNCU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We're staying in Willunga for a few days, hunting down some nearby caches. Thanks to the COs who have placed caches along our route.Just as we decided that it had gone, there it was. Thanks for the cache. LNCU
Out for a day of caching with Mrs Mellison and Paulf76. We love this area and are having an excellent day. Great hideTFTC
Trying to end May on a high. Mr Suelee made short work of this nano . Log signed and nano replaced Tftc
Left home early, picked LB up and headed south for a day of caching before going to a southern CITO.Naturally camoed over time makes this little fellow blend right in Third time lucky for LB here today, must be the company you keep TFTC ThielFindersKeep smiling
Out and about on the way to a CITO with Jolly0, caching as we go.We found your cache today.Jolly0 put her hands on it and I finally get a TFTC TheilFinders
Nailed it. Took me longer than I should have. Being a nano a had a fair hunch I knew what I was looking for. Sussex it out during the arvo and came back later at night when less muggles were around. Man that thing was jammed in there!!! Took a fair bit of grunt to get it out as it appears to almost have rusted to its hiding place. Got it in the end and have replaced as found. TFTC
Oops, i was checking my map and noticed I had forgotten to log a find on this one. I found it with sir_spectre who has a height advantage over me.Thanks
Found it! Was about to give up on this one but spotted it at the last second! #400 TFTC!
Found while passing through the area. A quick find with nobody around the GZ on a wet and windy day. TFTH
We DNF'd this a couple of months ago, and was in the area again today visiting a friend nearby.
We wandered over for a look before lunch, and as we were casually chatting, I looked up and spotted the little blighter without even trying.
Funny how a thorough search was unsuccessful, but a casual glance got the biscuits!

No luck unfortunately
I've read the logs and thoroughly searched the structure. I gloved up... then groped and poked in all the hidey bits but still couldn't find the evil hide.
No in plain sight cache to be sighted.
All caches are good caches... except the ones that are DNF's

Found with Mogni. Another day down in this streak souvenir event. Third visit here and the first time the cache has been here. quick find this time. Lucky for us the muggles were at the other shelter.
By this time of the trip, we had lost the company of Micaparamedic as he had commitments but Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 and myself were making our way back to Victoria. This was not one that we were targeting but we happened to look at our appliances and found we were only 40mts away. No way that you can pass up on something so close. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Unfortunately half of the team needed to stay behind to look after sick friends in Western Australia and the other half needed to head home for a doctors appointment. I joined forces with Papi4506 and Geoturle37 at Maralinga and we have travelling home via the Anne Beadell Highway and Oodnadatta Track picking up whatever caches we came across.
One of our main targets on the way home with this bad weather was adventure labs and Earth caches as they normally don't require too much standing around in the rain. Being that we were so close to this one we thought that we would give it a bash and for a change we were not cursing the weather as once at GZ we had the entire area to ourselves. This was good as it did take a little while to locate the cache. We signed the log as TC to conserve room before returning the cache to how it was.
Thanks ThielFinders for the cache.

No muggles today so we had a good look, but no luck for us. We'll keep an eye on it...

Checked into the caravan park next door for a few nights and headed over to this one on our way to the beach.
Hardly a muggle in sight, very quiet today !

Ocw the Bebes. A nice quiet day as far as juggles goes. We were staying in the caravan park across the road and had to pop over and collect this one. Tftc
With 3 pairs of eyes it didn’t take too long to find this cache.
Luckily there were no muggels around although it was in the middle of the day.

doesn't seem to be there. Smartich0ke confirms that he can't spot it after previously finding.
Not today couldn’t find it with poison55 and Smartich0ke (a previous finder) couldn’t see it either so thought it lost
Revisited with 2 friends Chubly09 and Poisin55. who hadn’t found it. Looked in the place I remember it was and a lot of other places without any luck.
Seems to have gone missing according to previous logs. Will check or replace soon. Thanks
dnf with mogni. Even made a PAF call and confirmed i was looking in the right spot.
Out celebrating the June long weekend my own way by picking up some caches and completing some adventure labs that I've had my eye on for a long time. I'm not down this way too often but I was staying at my parents so I made use of being closer while I could.
I wasn't going to go out today, until I got notified of the new Signal's Labyrinth this morning.
With my sense of adventure reinstated, I went where the roads lead. They ended up taking me around Happy Valley, Morphett Vale, Onkaparinga Hills, Reynella, Noarlunga, Port Noarlunga South, Seaford, Seaford Rise and Moana.
A total of 31 finds for the day and 5 DNFs, an 86% success rate.
The muggles had cleared out... so I returned.
Easy find... being 6'6 helped.
Cache retrieved, I left my stamp at home so I signed with good old fashioned pen.
Tweezers, torches and other useful tools of the trade are always on hand for necessary cache retrieval.
As well as a first aid kit and gloves for when things get messy.
Thanks ThielFinders for this cache.
This cache brings Goldy's total find count to 1172.

Had been here before but was always muggled out!!! Returned today with Andy Colombai, Lukas SkyWalker and JJ52 for a quick ........................... if teeny ................. find!!! Thanks for the adventure!!
Lovely Day to be out beside the beach. Not many people about today. Good as it took me a while to make the find. Thanks for the cache.
You got that right, this is definitely Muggle Central, we have been eying this cache off for months but every time we cruise past there are people everywhere!! Swung past today and decided to take the anti geo dog for a walk around the park, she is such a pest she would spook anyone away from the seats when we went there we decided, but we no sooner were out of the car than the people wandered off anyway. Awesome, today was the day.
Peered, squinted, stared and there it was.
Muggle is used in informal English by Mensa members to define non-members or any person with IQ lower than Mensa level.[citation needed]
According to the BBC quiz show QI, in the episode "Hocus Pocus", muggle was a 1930s jazz slang word for someone who uses cannabis. "Muggles" is the title of a 1928 recording by Louis Armstrong and His Orchestra.
A muggle is, according to Abbott Walter Bower, the author of the Scotichronicon, "an Englishman's tail". In Alistair Moffat's book A History of the Borders from Early Times, it is stated that there was a widely held 13th-century belief amongst Scots that Englishmen had tails.
Ernest Bramah referred to "the artful Muggles" in a detective story published decades before the Potter books ("The Ghost at Massingham Mansions", in The Eyes of Max Carrados, Doran, New York, 1924).
Muggles is the name of a female character in the children's book The Gammage Cup by Carol Kendall published in 1959 by Harcourt, Brace & World.
Published in 1982, Roald Dahl's character the Big Friendly Giant uses the word "Muggled" while describing a good dream to the other main character, Sophie - “And the whole school is then cheering like mad and shouting bravo well done, and, for ever after that, even when you is getting your sums all gungswizzled and muggled up, Mr. Figgins is always giving you ten out of ten and writing Good Work Sophie in your exercise book.” – The BFG. Roald Dahl also names a family of monkeys "The Muggle-Wumps" in The Twits and other works.
Muggle was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2003, where it is said to refer to a person who is lacking a skill.
Muggle is used in informal English by members of small, specialised groups, usually those that consider their activities to either be analogous to or directly involve magic (such as within hacker culture; and pagans, Neopagans and Wiccans)[6] to refer to those outside the group.
In online forums for people with herpes, Muggle is used to describe someone who (presumably) does not have HSV.
Muggle (or geomuggle) is used by geocachers to refer to those not involved in or aware of the sport of geocaching. A cache that has been tampered with by non-participants is said to be plundered or muggled.
The term Muggles can refer to an online subculture of regular solvers of the Wall Street Journal weekly crossword contest. The name refers to the fact that they are competing to win a coffee mug.
Thanks TheilFinders for the cache, phew at last we have found it!! TNLNSL

As the famous explorer Vasco Panama once said “I can find some of the caches some of the time, but I can’t find all of the caches all of the time”
Nice quick find in an interesting spot I haven't visited in a while. I love finding nanos but getting the logbook in is always a pain! TFTC TheilFinders
On an afternoon out with Gral4 to do some cache maintenance down south, once the duties were done we kept going with some caching.
No plan we just made it up as we went and had a great time. We started in Port Noarlunga and ended up in Willunga where we met a friendly cat at a multi location and eventually we had tea from the Chinese Place. I was glad it had survived COVID-19 and was still there.
TFTC ThielFinders, I was glad it didn't take me as long to locate as I thought it would!

Out with hevwalker today doing a spot of caching down at Port Noarlunga.
We found gz completely void of muggles today.
It seems that the humid weather kept the public away.
So it didn't take long for the three of us to locate the cache.
Thanks for the location ThielFinders

Enjoying catching up with clare007 for a caching day down around the Port Noarlunga area. My semi-muggle friend, Bron came along for the drive. It was a hot & humid morning. We started with the Adventure Lab caches then found regular caches.
I think the heat kept everyone away from the park today as we had the place to ourselves. After a short search the cache was located, retrieved, signed & placed back as found.

Found while out on evening walk with Geoson. A lot of possible hiding places for a nano, but eventually found the right one. Tftc
New Years Day cache after a very long and warm day on the beach. Was a fast but sneaky spot by CinemaBuff. Tftc.
Found by The Boofs while out on a drive TFTC . Quiet today as it's a bit rainy, still - bloody nano!!
I sat here and stood here and wandered here for quite some time this morning (a Sunday). It was much less crowded than Sat morning. Still, the little fella beat me, not sure where he could be. There is one location about 8m from GZ that looks a likely spot, but as we were on dedicated holiday my TOTT was still at home. Thanks for the challenge.
Easy to find hard to get
Broke magnet tool banged my head one the pole (ow) and mum got a splinter...
The hard bit was putting it back up my magnet tool broke so I had to climb the post and then it wouldn't come off the magnet (grrrr) eventually got it up to its hidey hole
Wait for it,
Bloody Nanos! Spawn of satan. Burn down the Nano factory, and exterminate anyone who sells Nanos.

Find 1274
This evening, gridge98 and I planned to visit *Onkaparinga River National Park*, and explore another section on the southern side. We then headed to *Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park* just as the lightning show started, with various extreme warnings feeding through our phone's notifications. We managed to complete that walk just as the heavy rain started to feel, and then proceeded back north towards home, stopping for dinner and a few miscellaneous geocaches.
We thought geocaching was over for us this evening with all the rain and lightning, but it must have passed through as we were eating dinner, thereby opening up a window to stop at a few more geocaches in the area. Consequently, within a break in the storm, we drove and parked at this location, and after about five minutes, I finally found the darn nano. At least at this time of night and weather, there were no muggles about. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks ThielFinders for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Freezing wind.
Some showers.
Bright and early.
No muggles!
The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked.
Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

Easter 2020 was supposed to see South Australia Geocaching hosting the next Easter big MEGA event, GeoVenture 2020 at Millicent. GC82DAN. Due to COVID restrictions the event is now postponed to early October 2021. Check out the event page and our website for new details. We would love to see you at this four day event. Mega event sponsored by Wattle Range Council, Geocaching.com and many other supporters. Lots of caches to find including two classic geo art trails including the famous animated bottle and glass.

This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
