Today we have had a big caching trip to Port Sorrel looking for as many caches as we could find in my quest to get to our next milestone by the end of November. Weve got no chance but definitely have no chance if we dont even try. As most caches required shanks pony our numbers were limited to around 30 finds for the day along with 4 dnf. Our primary focus to begin with was the 4 low tide caches all of which were successfully found. We then spent a while at Squeaking Point before a walk along the main trail near Hawley Beach. Thanks mainly to Spreyton and Angus88 for the bulk of our finds and of course to all the other hiders for adding enjoyment to our day. I walked 20,000 steps and 15km.Nice easy find here TFTC
Back in Devonport for a few weeks, looking after grandchildren. A great opportunity to go on adventure each day.Having a few days break in Port Sorrell, so picking up a few in the area. A nice walk around the area and an easy enough find at GZ.Thanks Spreyton22 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
After kayaking across from Baker's Point with tassietan we are really enjoying the walk and the series. This one proved to be quite challenging. Our phones showed different GZs, and we struggled with the hint. Finally broadened our search and the cache was in hand .Thanks Spreyton22.
The Roadies and I are camping at Narantawpu NP and have paddled our kayaks across the bay on this stunning morning. This was the fourth find of the series on this lovely walk. This cache took us a long time to find I was getting distracted by some other things a bit further along the track that fitted the hint. I finally gave up on those options and joined The Roadies. With some perseverance we finally made the find in an area that was a bit off the track, a bit overgrown and snaky and a bit close to the view of houses. No one seemed to notice, apart from the few joggers and bike riders using the track. Thanks for the challenge Spreyton22.
Tftc. Paper Was a little damp. A hole in plastic. I wrapped it up tight so should be ok.
Thanks for the cache, log is a little soggy.Great evening for a stroll now the days are getting longer
Hello Spreyton22 thank you for the cacheA quick find by my friend.Found on Saturday, 23 September 2023 at 1655Another great weekend caching with EeePees.**TFTC**
TFTC Found it - with AlbyDangles on another northern excursion.A quick find, luckily - I would have preferred to have been on the other side of the track, away from the houses and their occupants' line of sight. Thanks, for this caching experience.Cheers, EPs. 3668 - Saturday 23rd September 2023@1655hrs
We skipped this one when we got the others in the series as it was Xmas eve and too snakey! Happy to log it today TFTC
Making the weekend a 5-day weekend it's nice to get outside and find some caches on such a nice day.
Thanks, Spreyton 22 for placing their caches for our enjoyment,

Was driving back to Devonport when we noticed a few caches not found. Took a slight detour and found 5 with The X-Trailers. A grand total of 25 for the day.. This was our last find before heading back to our motel for a cuppa. TFTC
YAY - 19th cache of Day 3 of the Great Tassie 2023 Caching Adventure - found it. Love the very old trunk at GZ. TFHC
After actually managing to find the stump it was an easy enough find just getting to it was the harder part!
Contents were a little wet but writable
Thanks for the find

After a break... ['Drinks' break ha ha] back at my cabin i started to log some finds then decided to go grab these Panatana Track series of hides on foot from where i'm staying [^]
This one [#3] after crossing the seriously cool footbridge here as first in line in a planned route to grab 5 of them.

What a lovely afternoon for caching! Caching with family on some bush tracks on the other side of Muddy Creek. We used to live in this area many years ago, the bush is much the same but the residential areas have changed. This cache was an easy find with the help of accurate coordinates and the hint. TFTC
Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers around Port Sorell, Squeaking Point, Shearwater and Hawley area and this was one that was targetted. A nice day for a wander along the river even though it was very windy. TFTC
Out and about caching with whitewebbs on a windy autumn day and found your cache along the way.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

There are about 58 caches hereabouts on our 'still to do list' The silly season is over and we are camping in the lovely quiet caravan park. Got our bikes on board which will get us to the coffee shops and many of our missing caches. Across the bridge and left or right was the big decision here, so we opted for two to the left, then three to the right. #3 presented no problems and all in good nick. Thankyou Spreyton22 for your work out here.
Thanks for the cache. Apologies for the generic cache. Spent four days 'up north; with Lil Rafa and the GeoGSP. Today was day 3, another sunny day, a great day for caching. Today we backtracked a bit, went around in a bit of a circle, followed a few different tracks along rivers and beaches, and visited a nature reserve.
Thanks for the cache Spreyton22.
RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I have spent a couple of days in the area, and as it was such a beautiful sunny day today, we headed out for a walk to find some caches. This is a lovely walking track, thank you for bringing us here. A nice quick find at GZ.

Took us a few minutes, hint - there is more than one stump close together so look around carefully
Another day geocaching up north. The sun is out and the wind is dropping so our plans for today will be some low tide caches and then do the walk to the point to find Lieu-Pine-Ner and the caches in between.
After the low tide caches we decided to gather the set around rivulet. Followed the track and then the compass....was expecting something bigger!
Thanks for the cache.

Spring is in the air, what a great afternoon to look for some new Geocaches in an area we used to visit often before we moved. loved this one TYFTC, it’s it great condition.
It was a very pleasant morning to be walking along the side of the Panatana Rivulet. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. Although not visible from the track side, it was out in the open and that led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Spreyton22 for this cache and others you have placed in the area.
A couple of days off from work and it seemed like a reasonable forecast, so I thought some time in the north west would be good with three aims. One get a break from work, two get a few puzzles that I need to claim a challenge cache in Hobart and finally get a few caches to get the wonders of the World Series done.
The drive up on Thursday was an indication of things to come. Regular showers and very cold. This continued right through the two days. At the end of each day my trousers, shows and socks where Completely saturated.
A few DNFs were had, mainly due to not wanting to search in the current shower more than anything else. Just over 100 finds for the two days, more on the first day less On the second.
Tftc.
Lovely walk along this track between the showers

Close to the house let’s hope we looked like we were tying our shoelace and not looking sketchy.
It was my intention to travel to Devonport to catch up on a few more caches when I noticed that there were two more new caches in this area so a detour was needed. It is nice to be the first to sign a new log.
