Scaphoid and myself were headed to a highly favourited multi-cache and happened to park the car right near this one! So we made a quick grab as we headed past. Initially looked on the wrong side of the track, but once we corrected our search radius it was quickly found in an obvious location. The cache is very low to the ground and this hole probably fills up with water during heavy rain, which would likely contribute to it getting wet. Thanks for the hide
Being relatively new to caching there is a lot that Im discovering and enjoying. One of those things that is a new discovery is caching trips. Loci612 and I had discussed a trip to Sydney for a specific event, unfortunately, I couldnt make the event but I was still able to enjoy a good few days of caching with friends.Day 2 was all about focusing on getting some cachers with some good stats, particularly some high-terrain caches. We had all day in Sydney to spend caching so we were both exhausted by the end. Nice spot here, plus a night quick find. TFTC PJO07
Walked right past it before returning for the grab, signed the posted notes inside
The awesome accuracy of these coordinates meant that I found this fairly quickly. A very nice spot here, especially in the twilight dusk. TFTC
taking a break from the pipeline to grab this one- cute walk but log was a little damp and maybe getting a bit mouldy TFTC!
Jennyfromthefarm and I had been talking about doing the pipeline series for a while. Today we headed out on a warm sunny winters day. While making our way along we made our third detour to this nearby cache.
We found with a mandarin inside the cache container. I went to find a bin nearby to dispose as didn't want to leave it in the bush. It was fairly recent and a random log after the last noted find online points to the culpret, not the last person who logged online who is known and a well respected geocacher.

OCW discobob3 today and we met and parked at number 1 but while sitting in the car I looked at the distance and said let’s leave a car at each end which I’m very glad we did.
It was a decent walk with some varied terrain and three offshoot adventures to find other caches that weren’t very far off the trail.
Thankyou for placing and maintaining these caches along the pipeline. It was a worthwhile trip today to do it all in one go and we were happy to report each cache was found in good condition.
The walk took us approximately three hours at a relaxed pace.

Nice dry logbook and a diversion from the pipeline. Will move trackable on, tftc.
Out visiting a colleague today (which ended up falling through) in the area so took the opportunity to start this pipeline trail. As a water engineer myself it was great to walk amongst this stellar piece of infrastructure. Whilst in the area it was a quick detour to find this great one too. Only a few spiderwebs!

TODAY A FINDING. I DON'T KNOW WHY I DIDN'T FIND THIS CACHE LAST TIME. IN TB AND OUT TB. THANKS.

Very quiet here today, but MrsFish was hoping to record frogs calling and there were none, wouldn't have heard them anyway over the cicadas. I headed to GZ and found the cache immediately in the first place I looked, probably more luck than skill. Thanks for a very good hide in this interesting location.
We were doing the Pipeline Power Trail and saw this one close by. it was relatively quick find, but we do hope the neighbours are cacher friendly. TFTC PJO07.
Slightly put off my the 2.5T rating here, but turns out this is more like a 2 at best. Nice solid cache container uncovered - log signed and retuned with neighbours none the wiser. Thanks!
Found it! All dry and in good condition. Pen was also there which was helpful as I am missing one. Left an aqua blue gem that I just found to add to collection of stuff in the box. Good one for the kids. TFTC!
The cache seems to have been affected by the rain. It was stuck in the Camo so I had to prise it out. Inside is relatively waterlogged and I couldn't sign the log. Otherwise great cache and beautiful spot.
TFTC, nice easy find phone GPS was a little sketchy but found when it settled down
Thanks for a great cache. I have been meaning to visit this area for a while. 2nd for the day.
TFTC from the Kayakviking!
A different walk in this area just in my boundary. Cheers KV

The backburning went according to plan, and we are pleased to say you can still safely search for this cache. Happy Caching
Greetings geocachers, we were notified this week that the local fire brigade has planned a hazard reduction burn today. So we will disable this cache for about a week depending on how much of our camo is burnt. Hopefully we'll be able to enable it soon but with missing undergrowth and bushes we'll probably have to wait till it grows back. Happy Caching in other areas!
Out for some morning exercise. A fairly easy and quick find for Geo-Bunny. Great area for the mozzies to breed in the "pond" near by. SL TFTH TFTC TNLN replaced as found ready for the next geo-adventurers. Thanks goes to the CO for bringing us to this location.
Found the cache easily enough but retrieving it was a strain on my old knees!! TFTC
A curious structure nearby. Have done more than a few caches down lower before but hadn't been here. Thanks PJO07.
A wet day to be out caching. Thankfully i arrived at the GZ when it was just sprinkling rather than when it was bucketing down.
It only took a minute to locate the cache and i soon had the log signed and was on my way.
Thanks.

Some of the cachers in the small group I had joined this afternoon had already retrieved the cache container by the time I got to GZ. Anyway, I did get to see the nice box and hand it on to whoever was going to return it to its hiding spot.
After a really long search for a cache earlier in the day, it was a pleasure to have an easy one now. Little did I know that there was still another nasty hide waiting after this one, but that's a write-up for that cache.

A quick find in the logical spot after the CC Event this afternoon. What a great container!

Another calendar finds day, so headed east to clean up a few caches on the coast. Went for seven and got them all - including one re-do that took longer than it should. The main problem today was so many muggles out and about most of my finds needed stealth - which is why I normally prefer to cache during the working week.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Started the day here, a familiar area with a familiar problem - where to park. Found a spot and made my way to GZ and immediately spotted something suss. Yep, that's the camo.
Made the grab, signed and replaced. Easy start to the day - and just finished before the muggles near GZ got active outside.
And can't see how **Rainbow Spirit** could have a problem here - sorry mate.

I don’t know why I couldn’t find it, always a worry when everyone else can find it!
We're sorry about the inconveniences we have cause, but we can now put the cache back safely, due to the fire danger being over. Happy Hunting and Happy New Year
We are again sorry, but today we were told that the firemen were coming to finish off the backburning they have been trying to do in the area. So we will temporarily disable the cache until further notice, (which will probably be only 48hrs).
After finding the AL Bonus Cache in the vicinity I headed over to this cache where I had to use stealth to avoid the prying eyes of a couple of young lads kicking a rugby ball around in the yard of the nearby property - probably warming up for tonight's State of Origin game. With the accurate coords it wasn't long before I had the brand new cache container and contents in hand. TFTC
We checked out the cache today and confirmed it was in need of repair due to the heavy rains we've had. So we performed maintenance (replaced the logbook, cleaned it, and replaced damaged items) and can confirm it is dry, usable and watertight again. Happy caching.
As you can see we have had to disable this cache, as a result of back burning. But the back burning has been temporarily called off, due to weather so we can safely enable this cache, sorry for any inconveniences.
We are sorry for any inconveniences but due to back-burning activity in the following days we have had to temporarily remove this cache as it is directly in the proposed burning area. Until further notice we should be back by next week with vengeance, however we aren't sure as the entire camouflage is natural hopefully everything will be fine though.
Saw this cache pop up while I was getting in my car 30 min away as I was heading to work nearby. My FTF glands went into to overdrive. I got within 10 min of arriving and it was found so decided to wait for another day. Easy find with cache in great nick. TFTC!
Found this one a few weeks back but forgot to log it.
Once I was in the right area the find was easy. A nice large container. I dropped a trackable and replaced it.

Interesting log from vk2df which seems to explain why this unsuspected structure is here. I walked in from near the Allambie Heights Village enjoying the spring flowres along the way. Container is well hidden and safe and dry. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
I was unsure of the best way to access this one, but the way in soon became clear.
A few moments searching before I spotted the likely hiding spot.
Success, and the streak continues.

Took a nice Saturday afternoon stroll up to this new cache, walking from home following Allambie Road, then along the pipeline track to GZ. A quick find was made of the well stashed good sized container. Signed the logbook, swapped a stamp (out) for an unopened Coles Little Treehouse book (in), then replaced everything as it had been found.
We remember all the controversy when this housing subdivision (known as Ardel at the time) was first proposed in the late 1990's, with pollution runoff going down into Manly Dam, so suspect the water treatment pond (artificial wetland) near GZ was part of the pollution mitigation trade-off to allow it to get through council (see attached Manly Daily newspaper article of 17th June 1999).
TFTC PJO07, and congratulations on your first cache placement.

We saw the notice about this nearby cache the other day, but when we got it, the FTF had already gone so we did not rush out then.
Today we took a nice walk from home, and had no problem finding this cache.

This morning with it not being as cold and windy as predicted I headed over to the Northern Beaches for the couple of new caches there.
First stop - but where do you stop, doesn't seem to be any parking in this street??
I pulled up not far from the track and almost immediately a muggle came out of one of the houses and watched me walk down the hill. I took a photo and pretended to be heading up the hill. When he was out of sight I went back to the track and made a quick find of the cache.
3TF, signed log and watched a cycling muggle speed past. There doesn't seem to be any track on the maps but I guess it goes down to the pipeline.
Nice area I didn't know existed.
