As it’s a nice albeit overcast day, thought I’d get out on the bike and see if I could pick up a few caches here & there

Must have had cache blindness last time here even though ran fingers along the whole structure. Found straight away. Tftc
First find in May 2022.
Today I went to West Lakes for business. After that, I tried this cache as it's not too far away.
Parked as close as possible, and walked to GZ. At GZ, cache has been found easily.
Cache is in good condition. Signed the log, and put it back.
Before I left, I took a photo for the bridge.
Thanks for the cache, The_Fusilid.

It was there on Sunday but it is school holidays and may have gone into the lake once again. Will check asap and replace. Thanks for the info TheErinSA.
Cache been muggled once again - this replacement only out for 2 weeks. Will replace again soon!
Found the spot but I believe the cache has been muggled again as only a magnet remained.
Would not tuck back to hiding place.. maybe magnet dislodged.. left at base of upright... hope muggle doesn't get to it b4 you... did not have anything on me to make a replacement.. thanks
I seem to be following my geo-goonie mates with my finds today. Only they were here just over a week ago!
Today I decided it was too nice a day to do housework, but the perfect day for some cycling and caching. So off I pedalled into the welcoming sunshine

Another of the Wednesday wanderings for the befuddled. Targeting new hides in the area and a number that were still to be found by the Starfish. Thank you for the placement of the Lochside cache The_Fusilid find number 8516 on 20 October 2021 at 2:30 pm
Back to Wednesday Wandering for some members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group. We gathered at the Rat Nest and myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats headed out for a day of caching in and around Lefevre Peninsular. Except for one cache that is currently off line and 1 DNF we managed to find all we looked for. As usual there were a few laughs, a picnic lunch and these are the caches we found [B)]
Took us a little while but we found the cache where we expected it to be.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks The_Fusilid for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Another one with Mr froghoppin where I had a feeling I'd been here before!
A little wet by now, but the cache was high and dry
Many thanks to The_Fusilid for hiding this cache on our SA geo map game board

Most Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about especially away from the city crowds,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

A day out with Mattycat to tackle some around the western suburbs some we both needed and the odd one only one of us needed the smilie which helped narrow the search, why is it when your in the middle that it starts to drizzle, no point in running for it you may as well find and sign the log which we did before retreating the warmth of the car

Had a rare day off work today so decided to grab a collection of trads, multis and labs in the north western quadrant as well as attend an event. All caches were in good condition. TFTC.
Found while passing through the area today. Thanks for the cache The_Fusilid!
Out and about with Malco!, Csaba and SupaOrange. Everyone found a few caches today which is always fun. My name was already in the log but today I came for the find. Turtle Out
I was beaten to this find by Supa-Orange and Csaba ! It is good to meet fellow cachers on these caching adventures!
TFTC and Merry Cache-mas!

Came down for the fishing and made a find while waiting for fish to bite. As we walked to GZ we spotted Kayche20 trying not to look suspicious. As I was chatting, SupaOrange made the find. Always good to meet fellow caches. Thanks
Made the find while fishing nearby.
I caught one sand whiting. Yay. Tra La Laaa

Out and about with my wheeled Geobuddy found this one nice and easy coordinates were spot on! TFTC left a Twinkle Star
Owl collected SA Sewer Rats for a girls' caching day out, which then needed a plus one after the Owlmobile collected an unwanted screw in a car park (with a DNF to add insult to injury!) Blackadders added an extra pair of eyes and some more chatter to the day and a good time was had by all. This was a process of elimination for the womenfolk. Owl did her 5,000th cache at this bridge.
The low flying Owl had collected a scurrying Rat for a girls Day out caching.
Arrived at GZ and started our search.
The low flying Owl soon had the cache i wing tips. Tftc

Thanks The_Fusilid for this cache. I thought I had missed out, I spent too long trying to wait out muggles at the last cache. However there was enough light here to allow me to spot the cache. A quick sign and a short walk back to the car. Another one added to the small tally I have for October.
Yay. Found it. After a trip to chiro. He said I need to walk more So i immediately opened the app to see where I could walk nearby. Remember being here before too but forgot all the perfect looking houses and abundance of birds. Once I found this cache I enjoyed their tunes. Rainbow lorikeets are just the most beautiful things. Photo of a couple chatting or kissing attachedAnother fun adventure, many thanks for the hide.
GeoVenture Mega Event at Millicent, still looking forward to it!! A new date has been proposed for October 2021 now.

Been here before for a old cache that was or probably still is under the bridge, made the short walk to GZ and the cache was easily found
This morning I headed out the the western suburbs all the way to the beach collecting a few unfounded caches before making my way to a lunch time event in banh mi park, a few caches found on a lovely day.
Thanks for the cache

Déjà vu at this place . There used to be a Whereigo cache here and we remember reaching out over the railing to get the electronics to register the location .
Quickly found this one between passing muggles [8)]. TNLNSL.
Thanks to The_Fusilid.

Magnets replaced - please be careful not to dislodge magnets when opening cache
Found It!
I remember finding my first Wherigo cache on this bridge many many years ago. I guess that must be gone now. This one was a quick find here today.

This evening, I headed to West Lakes to drop-in to Heath's 22nd birthday event to say hi and provide my congratulations, before returning home to my own home cooked dinner. I did manage to detour through West Lakes and Seaton suburbs. It was a cold and brisk night, but at least there wasn't any rain during my evening out.
I remember the SA old Wherigo geocache that was one around this bridge, so it was a shame that that was archived. No one about this area due to the cold this evening, so managed to jog to GZ, and after a few looks (including some searching in some higher difficulty/terrain locations), the cache was found. Nice little hiding spot, although I hope that the magnet is strong enough to hold the cache there. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks The_Fusilid for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Was spending the morning escaping from the WFH thing and had to head out to one of my contractors to exchange some equipment. That done and with it being morning tea time it was time to take the long way back to the office. So headed to the area, parked nearby and wandered to GZ. Got close and started looking and suddenly the cache and a magnet hit the ground. Hmmm. Plastic containers, magnes and glue just do not mix. So Extracted the log, stamnped it and then replaced everything with the magnet at the bottom and the log on top. Replaced it all in ots hide and it all stuck perfectly. A better solution all the way around and a smiley to boot.
