Great idea, but same issue as others. Lock is jammed and looks like someone has broken into the box from the other side. Thanks anyway!

Im in Sydney on a long weekend for a friends birthday. This cache idea is good. The puzzle is clever. The lock does appear to be stuck which is super disappointing! Please come fix it. The mozzies came in a swarm. TFTC. Found with muggle friend along for the ride.

Lock broken for the puzzle

11-Jan-23
Easy find in location. Field puzzle lock no longer works. Dropped some trackables I collected from the UK there Smile

29-Dec-22
Really well-constructed field puzzle cache that we were able to access a bit too easily due to a problem with the word lock, although we did the puzzle for our own satisfaction. Have messaged CO regarding the issue.

15-Nov-22
Neat cache, haven't seen a field puzzle like this before (glad it was an easy solve with the description info). Quite a lot of bugs to fend off, and gps jumping all over the place, but gotta give a fav point for the creativity for sure, TFTC!

04-Sep-22
Apologies about the wait we just had to get round to doing it, the cache has been put back in its original place and is not too much different, its tether is a litter delicate but I wouldn’t worry too much about it, Thanks Smile

10-Jul-22
Cache ready to put back in place and we will once we are back in town. Thank you Smile

15-Jun-22
Taken in for maintenance, it will be complete soon.

No updates or response in months. Time to go?

24-Mar-22
As asked by private message, with no reply, any update on the repair of this cache?

05-Jan-22
The cache has been reported not in the original place, sure enough we checked on it and the cache was found on the ground (not in its respective place) so I am disabling this cache until we can fix it. Smile

I do not visit the Northern Beaches areas a lot, so plenty of caches to explore and find. Today Eagle Eyed Monkey Girl and myself did two Adventure labs and a few Traditionals.
This was the final cache of the day. We found the container on the ground whilst there was a chain hanging in the tree. Was it supposed to be connected?

We followed the instructions and the container opened up to reveal the cache. After signing ceremony all was replaced and the container placed underneath the chains.

Found after a long search co-ords are a little out, eventually solved the puzzle. A clever cache. TFTC

Very clever innovative hide! Took a while to find as coords a bit off. But maybe that’s part of the puzzle. TFTC

First cache in over a year and first one with the geotoddler! Hopefully we have her hooked.

It was a easy find but I was too tall to work out what to do next. Geowife to the rescue and quickly solved.

Great little park.

28-Aug-21
Fantastic. One of the best caches we’ve seen!

12-Aug-21
After much searching as the cords sent me everywhere I found it. Very clever . Puzzle sorted easily! Tons of mozzies ????tftc

I really liked this little puzzle! TFTC Fav for efforts.

Very creative, obviously had a lot of work put into it. Favourite point from us . Tftc

05-Jul-21
Couldn’t find it after a good look

06-May-21
I eventually found this a good 15m from where my gps wanted me.
A wet afternoon, lots of mosquitoes, and I nearly stepped on a dead rat.

That all said, a pretty good cache, even if had to chase some cockroaches and ants out of the outer container.

Tftc.

Tftc! Definitely a cool one!

Looked here and there on this dark, damp day. Turned and just made out the shape in the shadows. Did the code work, but the door didn't want to budge at first. Then with a bit more dexterity (not a cache for large hands), I was in and signing. Thanks Decnet101 .

#7680 (2 of 7 today)

Another calendar finds day, so headed east to clean up a few caches on the coast. Went for seven and got them all - including one re-do that took longer than it should. The main problem today was so many muggles out and about most of my finds needed stealth - which is why I normally prefer to cache during the working week.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Another cache... more than another muggle.
A whole family was here with a portable shelter, celebrating a birthday. Thankfully they were packing up as I arrived - was fun seeing them try to collapse the thing when only one person knew how.

Passed them and headed for GZ. Stopped at a spot to take in the area before heading to a likely area.
Spotted nothing, and I have 1 metre on the iPhone. Hmmm.
After 10 minutes of wandering got back to the first spot - but from the opposite direction, and there it was, staring at me.

Interesting opening procedure - and then the door was jammed - swelled with the rain I'd say. Finally pried it open and found two things - lots of ants inside (no problem) and a big huntsman spider (more of a problem.

Managed to finagle the spider out and then went for the internal container. There must be a way to get it out as is, but I didn't see it. Eventually opened it and removed the lid and I could get the rest of the container out.

Completed signing duties and replaced, as found.
Then back to the car - and the muggles are gone.

Gets a favourite for an interesting concept.

Made my way down to this one and the search began before turning around and spotting it, A well constructed hide and liked the base of it. the cache and contents are all good.

With a few days of not much going on in Adelaide, I was deciding what to do for the next few days. For some reason Sydney seemed like a good choice and within 6hours I was off and away. With a last minute decision came a last minute plan of what I was going to go and find and as usual it changed but still got most of what I came for. A few DT fill-ins for my next loop, high favourites and JASMAR caches I was yet to find including the oldest in Aus: Lane Cove. Day 1: I arrived in Sydney late in the evening and had booked to stay at the rocks, I got off the train at an early stop and collected a few caches in the city along my path and a few lab caches. Day 2 I was up nice and early and went for nice run along the foreshore collecting some cache from the opera house to Walsh bay, I then headed over to manly and a nice walk around the area before picking up the free hirer car collecting a few caches on my way to lane cove. I later headed north to central coast to 2 Multis I was keen to tick off before arriving back in the city suburbs for the evening. I continued driving around the suburbs collecting LGAs and that continued on for day 3 before going to Bondi for some nice walks along the rock faces and the beach. As I had to drop the car back at lunch time I headed back into the city for the afternoon to collect the rest of the caches I had missed that were possible in the time I had left.
A total of 86 finds and 37 adventure labs for the trip.

Thanks for the cache

The co-ords were a bit out on this one and as with previous searchers we went round in circles for a bit but once facing the right direction it was easy to see! Took a little while to open the cache and yes the ants are still there unfortunately. Enjoyed the challenge TFTC

What a great cache. Thanks. It was a touch more challenging for me because I have a mild phobia of ants and some pretty large ants have set up their best inside the cache. TFTC. #231 #6 for today.

Decnet101 I found your cache King Reserve Stash on 27/10/20, 3:50 pm. This is my find 2798 and find # 10 today. Had me in circles until I spotted it. Those wheels were a bit stiff and awkward with my big fingers. Once I worked out the code it wasn’t long before I had the door open and signing the logbook. A well thought out and construction of the cache. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

A nice easy cache this afternoon.
There was no one around when i got there so i was able to make the find in peace.
I enjoyed the little extra puzzle to open the lock. A nice addition to a well built cache.
Thanks.

I took the long but pleasant walk from The hidden Reserve to this deserted GZ. It took a while to find the container since my GPS had me up near the fence. Actually it's hard to miss once you see it (of course!) but I'd advise looking around the centre of the area that the short track leads to. The container is the result of some serious engineering and planning. Well done! Even the installation assists. I twiddled and pulled a few things and re-read the cache notes and finally realised what I had to do. And it worked!! Excellent! Put everything back in place and left MILK on the code. SL TFTC Cheers.... Gaztek

OCW morty8888. After completing the nearby Manly Dam AL we stopped here. After circling around for a few minutes morty8888 spotted the cleverly concealed container. With me reading out the instructions morty8888 did the physical work and had the container opened in no time. TFTC and a FP from me for the nicely crafted container.

After completing the Adventure Lab at Manly dam, we noticed this just down the road. Soon found the box, followed instructions in the description, woke a small huntsman up and signed, returned and left. Great cache and deserves a FP. TFTC!

Hard and sneaky according to Victor my 6yo. Took ages to find for the size and were just about to leave but saw it on our way out the bush. Few mozzies around which we weren’t prepped for. Hal my 9yo enjoyed cracking the code. Thanks cachers!

Found it a few days ago after a MTB ride around the dam. The container was found quickly and after reading the description properly, I got inside and signed the log. TFTC

After having done an Adventure Lab cache in the vicinity of Manly Dam, we stopped for this cache on our way home. The GPS's were not very helpful under all the trees, and we had almost decided to call it a day, when we spotted the well constructed cache.
Used the designated gadget to generate a code to be able to open the cache, and then we could sign the log and, after having replaced it, head home.

Ooh a gadget cache.....looks interesting.

As we approached GZ I spotted Jackscruff with the nice container. An extra pair of hands soon released the logbook.

Heading towards the beach I detoured to King Street to check out its new stash.
I found a track at the rear of the reserve and followed the GPS arrow. That took me to an area where there was quite a lot of rubbish and quite close to a property where a muggle was hanging out the washing.
The minutes ticked by and I was beginning to wonder why I couldn't find a container of the given size in this area.

Finally I spotted it.
Now how to open it??
I found the instructions rather ambiguous and the item hard to read in the dappled light so I resorted to PAF for help. Just as the instructions were becoming clear a couple of helpers turned up - The Bebes and PelDroedGwin.
That was lucky as the cache was at an awkward angle and the extra hands made it easier to get the logbook out.

Good cache, something a bit different.

FTF @ 13:26

We had just got back from Brookvale, after replacing the log & pencil in our Mitchell Rd cache, and had sat down at the computer to log the maintenance performed and noticed the fresh green icon on the geomap at Manly Vale. Checked the emails and saw that it had only been a few minutes since it had dropped and, as we haven't chased a First To Find for ages, thought we would give it a shot. Grabbed the caching gear and out the door we went.

Arrived at a deserted King Reserve and headed down into the scrub and to GZ. Looked around and soon spotted the cache, but then realised that more work was needed before we could lay our sticky mits on the log. Carried out the required actions and soon had our hands on the log container, then a bit more fiddling and we had the log in hand. Signed the pristine log sheet, TNLN, then replaced everything exactly as we had found it.

As we were exiting the "scene of the crime" we ran into justkeepwalking5 (sorry about that guys, but nice to briefly meet you's anyway), then back to the geomobile.

Thanks Decnet101 for the cache, a top effort that gets a Favourite point from us. Nice work !
