Unfortunately the paper work was soaked and the magnets don't work anymore but we found a dry spot for it. Thanks
I made a NM on 21/May/2021, but the problem has not been addressed. A log today states, "Unfortunately the paper work was soaked and the magnets don't work anymore"
I'm not sure if the CO is still active.

We where in Bega for a book launch, so a few caches after breakfast was the decision. A wander around Bega and then a few on the way home. The log is very wet. Thanks oatsnmills
I spotted the cache as I approached and wondered why it was so low. When I picked it up I found it was because the magnet is weak and it won't stay higher. The log is wet and 'glued' together. I managed, just, to sign GW. TFTC oatsnmills.
Needs a new log, and possibly a more waterproof cache, with a stronger magnet.
Found it
such an easy find, clear in sight. Couldn't leave a log as the notebook is soaked from the recent floods bega has been through.

A quick find with the generous hint. OCW MaxAdventurer and Cello_Queen. TFTC oatsnmills
With the Canberra Day Long Weekend upon us, the FFLL ladies and I usually take off towards SA or the likes for some caching, however with the unpredictability of COVID on the borders, we decided we would try for something a little closer to home. We decided that we would come down and have a crack at the VB trail around Eden and Merimbula. It was a great weekend away with both the FFLL ladies and it was nice to see the ocean and get some sun on our faces.
Final day of our short trip away and today we gathered random caches around the traps before making our way home. On our way home and decided to get some caches around Bega. Cache signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache placement oatsnmills and thanks for the wonderful weekend away FFLL ladies Always enjoyable and always something to look forward to.

The Canberra day long weekend falls on the first weekend in March so we usually take this time to head out of town. So this year, the caching troupe of us and Rapidlywild decided to head to the Merimbula to Eden coastline to collect a few smiley's.
Our last day and time to head home but not before doing a few more while still in the area.
We had passed a few on our journey into Merimbula on the Friday we decided to make up for it, so took a detour into these along our way home.
No problems with finding this one.
Thanks for the hide oatsnmills

Visiting cheese towne today,
I stopped by for some duck for lunch
While peking about,
I spied the cache in the first place,
I looked
But that clue doesn't make any scientific sense
Ducks are not magnetic !! [:o]
They do float ... I'll give you that
Oh !! And they are not made of wood either
TFTC .... QUACK !!
Not a cache for the Anatidaephobics out there !! [:o]

We'd come to Bega to do a bit of grocery shopping and to visit the cheese factory. Alas, the latter was closed to the public.
Thus, while parked nearby to check the details for the cheese factory online, I opted to have a quick walk to this cache to try my luck.
Nope, it doesn't seem to be there, or I was geoblind. Considering it's supposed to be magnetic, there were limited places it could be. Anyway, maybe it's gone, maybe I just missed it.

The weather was nice so we figured it was about time we found this cache. Saw a family of ducks waddling nearby. TFTC
FTF!! Thanks for a new cache in the Bega township. Doesn't seem to be holding very strongly to the hiding spot....might need some more strength in that rusty spot. Cheers!
