My daughter and I left Brisbane on Wednesday night, and made it to Canberra after lunch yesterday after a stop to see her brother in Sydney on Thursday noghtIn town to enjoy a few days of the Canberra Mega before heading to Melbourne for a family birthday party.After our first night in our accom I was up early while she caught up on sleep and picked up a few early morning caches Found a safe place to park and was soon at ground zero where the cache was quickly located. Log book signed ( needs a new one by the way )and back to the car and off on the next challenge.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.

easy

I was getting my daily caching fix and after rwo caches that were too difficult to find in the dark I happened to come across rhis one. Plenty of artificial light all around and after checking andew things the compass pointed to, Ihad a look here and got lucky.

The log is a bit of a dog's breakfast. I removed rhe worst bit and tried to actually roll up the left over added bit with some success.

# 8719 Find number 3/20 the current souvenir season. Found on a damp and grey day without too much trouble. The area was devoid. Had some problems getting the log out, but it's dry and serviceable.

28,369.Found with minniek during a fun caching run around Canberra today.

We headed out to grab a certain number of caches today, another day to fill in for one of my self-imposed challenges. Luckily we have heaps of solved puzzles to choose from on top of the numerous trads and multis. This trad was next on the list for today. I always enjoy knocking off a previous DNF. Parked at pole position. Quick find once at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then we continued on to the next one on the list.

Out for a bit of midweek caching with onieferret, checking out the northern suburbs. An unusual location for a cache but a fast find in this quiet street tonight. Thanks for the cache.

Last cache for the night. I had a fair idea where this one might be but muggles always scared me away from trying, but tonight with Nibletricecakes there was not a car in sight. Thank you

Oh that fixture

After exiting Mulligans at the N end of Doris Turner, I did something different for my night ride home... to see a few different streets in Forde. I randomly turned onto Francis Forde Boulevard and found a path going through the suburb. I checked the map to see where I was, and there was a GZ 9m behind me. It was dark with no-one around, so I went for it. One part had nothing, then I found a clue but had to step away for an approaching car. Clear again? Yes... I grabbed the cache and signed the log. As I was about to walk back to replace it, a dog walker slowly passed, then a car parked nearby. When they were gone, 3 people shining a torch around appeared. I pocketed the cache and rode off to the hill cache further N...

... finally returned after more muggles at the hilltop park, replaced the cache and headed home
