I was hoping to *actually* find this cache this time around but the swans had another idea! Alas, I will be back.
It feels like months since weve ventured out to grab some caches, so we finally made the effort to head out to grab some, and boy oh boy, we couldnt have picked a better day! Despite it still being winter its feeling a little spicy here in SEQ and with a taste of spring in the air we made the most of it.We only managed to squeeze in a couple of hours due to Jensens whinging and carrying on, I guess he wasnt as fond of caching like us after all, oh well!Nice quick find. Signed log and replaced the cache as found afterwards. Thanks for bringing us here.#4425 - TFTC
Took a while Laurel. Once seen can't be unseen. We spent the longest time searching for this one, even tho it was just where you described.
my advice is look on all levels. “back” as I. from the path. tftc

Spent ages...but no need, it really was a super easy find. Looking for something different.
The cache is not quite where the hint states but close enough for a good cacher. Thanks sunshine58
I am closing in on the cache I need for a challenge, but cannot pass a cache hanging around so here is my log, Thanks sunshine58, all is in good condition here today
Okay, so the day started at 6am so that we could catch a few caches to help the geo-dad (Cliff5009) fill in a few holes in his Hidden Dates chart.
A bit of a drive up Bruce Highway early on a spring morning, during the school holidays, so traffic was not too bad.
So this was cache 6 for the day.
Parked close to GZ, walked in, with the thought to pick up a few extra bonus "smileys" around the other we need to fill Hidden Date spots in this area.
Finally got up to GZ and went in, cache is damp. Did what we could to drain water and make sure cache is "upright" to avoid further water.
Thank you very much for placing this cache.

Out with Colwen. Once we got the right tree, it was a relatively easy find! TFTC.
Took longer than it should have as we were disoriented when viewing the hint. Enjoying our walk around the parkland. Thanks sunshine58
sunshine58 I found your cache Bridge Crossing #3 on 19/4/2022, 11:00 am. This is my find 3373 and find # 2 today. Unusually a quick and easy find. I usually struggle to find these caches. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
We found the one part of your old cache lying on the ground - as per a previous finder only finding the lid, we found the balance! Fairly quick find once finding the correct tree.
Found this, but the bison had been unscrewed and the bottom part was not replaced. We found the log in the ground but no bison part. Will leave a note.

A planned weekend trip up to the sunshine coast to grab a few caches. I still need a few more to get me closer to that sunshine coast challenge. The trip worked in well for the Sunday morning CITO event in Coolum.
I meet up with Esmiley and we spent Saturday, day and night, caching areas that neither of us had been to before. We were not certain if the recent rains and floods would have effected any of the caches but we gave it a shot.
We first of hit the Sippy Downs area and we had some fun. Many of the caches here took much longer than they should have; we spent way too much time trying to find simple caches. We then moved around the area and then towards the north, working our way to Coolum. However, time ran out and we had to stop for the day. It seemed as though the day was getting hotter as it went on and got even worse during the night.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the caches, some I kept notes on, some were just great caches and some I really do not understand why. We signed all logs with both names and replaced as we found them.
finally an easy find, thanks.

We headed today towards Sippy Downs to refresh memories and find some caches.

Found it. Just the top of it. Filled with maybe dirt and some kind of creepy crawly peering back at me. There's some much better spots for this one within 10 to 20 paces. Might want to reconsider a better spot.
Didn't sign as there was no way to.

A part of this cache and the log are missing and I didn’t have a replacement bison on me…
Out with Peppa for the day. Like he said just the tether and the top of the Bison remain. Logged with CO's permission.
Moving on from Bridge Crossing #2 we were surprised to find this cache in exactly the same condition… the zip tie and top of the bison are there, but no log and bottom half of the container…
I’ve sent a message to the CO and will log a NM…

We walked along the park by the lakes from Bridge Crossing #2, squeezing along a narrow path between the one lake and houses at one point. Lots of dog walking muggles about and people potting around in their backyards. Not sure if I would like such an exposed yard to the public. After the bridge we found what must be the laurels and very soon the cache.
Had to wait for more muggles to pass before signing, then returned in place.

Reached the summit of Puncak Jaya in Indonesia at this cache - highest peak in Oceania. Thanks for helping us achieve this souvenir.

My god it took me about 30 minutes I didn’t know what a laurel tree was I had to search it up the hard bit was putting it back
For every find we were usually also coming up with a DNF. In hindsight we didn’t up with any more DNFs but we didn’t know that at the time. If you knew how costly kids ended up being you might rethink the decision to have them as well. Although if anyone is thinking about their finances in the cot they need to get their mind back on the job.
I suppose we have all had that dream where we are rich enough to make love on top of a million dollars. We can forget about the stanky smell of dirty fingers on dollar notes, or even all the beer spilt on them at the pub, or maybe even that some of them have been used to snort illicit substances - let’s just imagine they are fresh from the mint. Regardless, it’s on my bucket list but knowing my luck I would end up getting it on over a million dollars of $1 coins.
It’s always nice to find a a couple of $1 coins in the car when grabbing a coffee in a drive-thru. However, there are just some sensitive spots I never want to find one. Let’s be honest, we’ve all thought about dropping a coin down a plumbers crack but I never want to find some money wedged between my cheeks of my own accord. tftc

Out for afternoon stroll with geodaughter and geodog . Relatively quick find after dog launched herself into the lake unexpectedly ! Crazy creature. TFTC TNLNSL All is well here.
Wandered in to find this one. Knew what clue meant. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Sunshine58. All good with this cache.
Up the Sunshine Coast on what was forecast as a full on rain event day. Seems this area didn't get the memo today. After a fun filled morning riding our fat bikes from Coolum to Sunshine Beach I decided to drop in an clear a few caches in this area fro the afternoon.

Thanks sunshine58!

A day out caching on the Sunshine Coast with Brislions. After finding a nearby cache, we headed to this one. A quick find and sign by Brislions at GZ and we were on our way again. TFTC
I was up on the Sunshine Coast again grabbing a few caches with Selva Girls. I found 27 caches for the day Selva Girls found a few less. We had lots of fun today. Sorry for the generic post, yes more short log because I am so far behind in logging. TFTC. *3862* Finds
12:05:00 PM. Ended up walking across the back of the houses and found a side track to the bridge. Don't know if that was a good as idea as I got pooped on by a bird. Now I know it is meant to bring good luck but the smell followed me home. Cache found and log signed. Thanks for the cache sunshine58
Next cache for the trip, and this required a degree of stealth to retrieve. After patiently waiting for a wheelchair muggle to roll on past, I went in for the find. Took a bit of searching but the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for bringing me here sunshine58.
Out and about with holster and thehairbear grabbing a few caches here and there. Once at GZ the cache was soon in hand.

Another bridge to investigate on my walk through this great system of lakes and creeks. Plenty of birdlife to see and just a few insects starting to become active as the seasons change. Thanks for the bridge series sunshine58, will there be more I wonder?
I initially told the kids we were looking for a "fat one and a skinny one", but think I might have misinterpreted the hint... No issue though, and the container was quickly in hand. Thanks for the cache, sunshine58 – another nice little spot!
I found this cache during a beautiful walk around the area discovering all the little parks. Thanks Sunshine58 for placing a cache here.

Council contractors keeping the waterways pristine nearly delayed our find.

Out and about collecting a few smiles around Sippy Downs. Tried this one earlier on but there where council workers having a smoko close to GZ. Came back and this time they where wading in the pond collecting obnoxious weeds with a net, so geowife engaged them in conversation whilst I went in search of the cache. Signed log and returned as found and they didn't even know I was there. TFTC sunshine58

After a day of walking the Flaxton Walkers Camp to Baxter Falls, and paddling Coolum Creek you think I would have had enough adventuring for the time being. A bunch of new caches were published in the Sippy Downs area and I became pretty tempted to see if I could find them.
This was the fifth find for the night .
I missed this on the first attempt and left it for last. Looked around the bridge on first look but came up empty handed. Second attempt I came from a different direction and found it instantly.
Thank you
