TFTC. Took me longer than it should have! I'll have to remember to bring swaps next time. Cache container pictured:
Glad I read log to ignore hint. Gps had me 9m into the lake. It was hot, so possibly a welcomed swim.
It feels like months since weve ventured out to grab some caches, so we finally made the effort to head out to grab some, and boy oh boy, we couldnt have picked a better day! Despite it still being winter its feeling a little spicy here in SEQ and with a taste of spring in the air we made the most of it.We only managed to squeeze in a couple of hours due to Jensens whinging and carrying on, I guess he wasnt as fond of caching like us after all, oh well!Nice quick find. Signed log and replaced the cache as found afterwards. Thanks for bringing us here.#4422 - TFTC
Out for a 6 x geowalk with Mr Scuba9 and Roxy. Lovely seats along the way to rest in the shade and sign the log.
Geocaching out with Woodwahdi this saturday to get some smileys and the weather is beautiful. This is find 72 for me and find 3 today. ignore the hint as cache is definitely in tree. which makes it an easy find. I left a duck. tftc
This was a dnf from us in 2022, but this time we were successful in finding this cache. The log was signed.Tftc Sunshine58
Out and about with TBUBIKESU and muggle brother Siggi to get more smiles .Thanks for the cache. sunshine 58
Another beautiful spot and I see where the name comes from. Thank you Sunshine 58.
Replaced new cache back in original spot. Ignore hint until corrected. Think like a cacher and keep covered please.
Finally we found this one after two visits! The clue is not current as we most certainly found it in a tree! TFTC

Dang - this is the second time we have been here but have not come up with the goods. Maybe missing again?
Found the decoy, had a think, then found the cache. All pretty simple really. Thanks sunshine58.
Found while up on Sunshine Coast, looking to fill a few hidden dates, and also grabbing any nearby caches, Thanks for bringing us to this lakeside area, the bird life is very noisy this morning, but not many muggles are about, Thanks for the hide, sunshine58, all is in good condition here
Okay, so the day started at 6am so that we could catch a few caches to help the geo-dad (Cliff5009) fill in a few holes in his Hidden Dates chart.
A bit of a drive up Bruce Highway early on a spring morning, during the school holidays, so traffic was not too bad.
So this was cache 12 for the day.
Walked on from the last one, and got in close. Nice views of the lakes here.
Spotted the cache before geo-dad, and grabbed it.
It now has our squiggles in the log.
Thank you very much for placing this cache.

Quick and easy find, however I found a painted rock where I thought GZ was. Shazza66 said this is a ‘thing’ these days. Pretty, but I was a little confused.. Meanwhile, Shaz found the cache. TFTC

As the owner suggested the hint needs to be amended as it is definitely not a paperbark tree. Lovely place to sit and update the log and watch the world go by.
A bit of a distance from GZ and not in accordance with the hint but exactly where’d you expect to find a cache. Lovely spot to sit and reflect. Thanks sunshine58
Indeed a nice spot for reflecting. Found fairly quickly but again, I'm pretty sure this is not a paperbark. Interesting camo pill bottle type container. Saw a pair of swans with several ugly ducklings at the last spot that I forgot to mention, they were about to attack when I was trying to get closer for a photo, so I hot-footed it away. I know they can be vicious like geese from past experience...
I know how frustrating it is with caches going missing often. My Newport series in Redcliffe is particularly troublesome, not to mention the traffic lights.... Good on you for keeping yours in action.

sunshine58 I found your cache Reflection on 4/5/2022, 12:55 pm. This is my find 3448 and find # 4 today. Now that I know the cache is there, decided to have another look. This time I found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Took the advice of looking in a closer tree and success! Noticed some movement in the hidey spot so used a nearby tool to remove cache. BIG spider has a home in there, so take care with fingers.
sunshine58 I didn’t find your cache Reflection on 19/4/2022, 10:44 am. Bad start to the day. Searched and searched again and came up with nothing.
Another missing cache. Updated and replaced a couple of metres from original. Also did trash out as kids left an empty bottle of spirits there to which there was a lizard about 8” long in the bottle. Not sure if he wanted rescuing or was enjoying the leftovers. Tipped him out anyway. Will update the hint.
Couldn't find this one... Looked in the hint area and read previous reviews but no luck... Onto the next one
A planned weekend trip up to the sunshine coast to grab a few caches. I still need a few more to get me closer to that sunshine coast challenge. The trip worked in well for the Sunday morning CITO event in Coolum.
I meet up with Esmiley and we spent Saturday, day and night, caching areas that neither of us had been to before. We were not certain if the recent rains and floods would have effected any of the caches but we gave it a shot.
We first of hit the Sippy Downs area and we had some fun. Many of the caches here took much longer than they should have; we spent way too much time trying to find simple caches. We then moved around the area and then towards the north, working our way to Coolum. However, time ran out and we had to stop for the day. It seemed as though the day was getting hotter as it went on and got even worse during the night.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the caches, some I kept notes on, some were just great caches and some I really do not understand why. We signed all logs with both names and replaced as we found them.
Another one that took way too long, there is no shrubbery in the area, lots of mondo grass and a small tree. Eventually we moved away from GZ and searched a different area, even had to PAF. Oh my really. ok we are out of here.

D 1.5 T 1.0 Small Traditional Cache
Fun day with chamad aiming to get 150 caches to qualify for the Sunshine Coast Challenge . Picking up caches from Sippy Downs, went south to Meridan Plains, clear out DNFs in Currimundi and finishing up at Foote Sanctuary area.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here sunshine58. Had some hints from a previous finder, all good.

After Peppa thoroughly (and I not so thoroughly) searched the 'shrubbery' we both turned to leave and then it was right in front of us. Facepalm moment as we both spotted it at the same time
Another cache that took way to long… back and forth… more than once… we read logs…we kept the hint in mind… we did quite a bit of gardening before declaring “time to go”…
It was the act of turning back to the car that enabled us to spot the cache… again it was about 9m from where Geepers wanted us today… tftc…

Out getting some exercise with the geodog and hubby. This one has been on my radar for some time. Heart sank when arrived to find area freshly mulched but all is well here and the cache was quickly located. TFTC TNLNSL.
As we walked up we disturbed a large lizard - or was it a goanna? It then walked over the edge of the stone bank to the water. Hopefully not hunting birds eggs. TFTC.
I said to Mrs Woodyrothwell that we could no longer let the DNF streak continue. We actually had to roll up our sleeves and actually look around everything in sight. If we had to uproot every plant in the area it was just the right level of environmental vandalism I was prepared to live with to make a find.
Before we knew it we were slipping back into old habits. Touch one plant here, lift one leaf there, prey the cache magically appears - the same old tropes. The heat was getting to us but I couldn’t let this go on. I suggested to my wife that she might like to take a seat because she was about to witness something special. I also asked if she could call my manicurist whilst taking a rest.
I started at one end and kept working all the way up to the cache. I was sweating bullets by the end of the hunt and almost thought about going back to our last DNF now that I had the mojo back. I tried talking my wife into it but she was getting upset after she found out how much money I have been spending on manicures. tftc

1457 @ 1:37 pm ~ Quick easy find. Bit damp but otherwise all good. ~ TFTC sunshine58
Similar area to peaceful spot. Wandered in. Lots of ducks. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Sunshine58. All good with this cache.
Up the Sunshine Coast on what was forecast as a full on rain event day. Seems this area didn't get the memo today. After a fun filled morning riding our fat bikes from Coolum to Sunshine Beach I decided to drop in an clear a few caches in this area fro the afternoon.
- an enjoyable therapeutic experience.

I don't think I can blame the lack of shrubbery for my lack of a find. More my lack of willingness to hunt.
Visiting this lovely district from the Gold Coast with geo friends hatzofff, RoddyC and grannysmith 1947.
Another neat hide along our way around this beautiful area today.

TFTC smile 7496 out and about with Hatzoff RoddyC and Snickersallanand miss Millie geo dog had great day lots of laughs and plenty of walks
There were some muggles enjoying the serenity the first time we came nearby, so we moved on hunting elsewhere and rolled past a little while later to find an empty gz, thankfully as this took some time to locate, even with the co eventually helping the hunt.
Great spot for a cache though, thanks sunshine58.. distantly recall suggesting here for a hide once upon a time.

Found it! Along with a HUGE huntsman spider living on it! Replaced. Watch out for spiders
Out and about grabbing a few caches with holster and thehairbear today and this was one of them. Once at GZ it was a short search and the cache was in hand.

A day out caching on the Sunshine Coast with Brislions. After finding a nearby cache, we headed to this one. Brislions spotted this one after short search. With our names added to the log and the cache returned to its spot, we headed to the next one. TFTC
I was up on the Sunshine Coast again grabbing a few caches with Selva Girls. I found 27 caches for the day Selva Girls found a few less. We had lots of fun today. Sorry for the generic post, yes more short log because I am so far behind in logging. TFTC. *3861* Finds
11:50:00 AM. Walked on down to this one and took a little searching. Found and log signed. Some nice seats around here. I remember delivering bricks into this area when it was being developed. Thanks for the cache sunshine58
On from a DNF, and when I got to GZ, I saw something pretty weird. 3 muggles with a wakeboard and a homemade ski ramp lined up for the water. I am honestly puzzled as to why they even wanted to do it here, of all places! Whilst i went off to get another cache nearby, they left and when I returned, the search was on. It took a good while to find the container hiding away, but it was eventually located. Thanks for bringing me out here sunshine58.
Less than two weeks ago searched for this cache the day after it was published but had cache blindness that day.
Straight to it today.

This is a lovely system of lakes and parks and it was great to explore along here today. After a hit of scratching around I found the cache and took a seat to sign it. Nice spot, thank you.
I doubt I'll be the only cacher with a scene from Monty Python and The Holy Grail running through their head as they look at the hint and then search one of those things, then another, and then another. Or is that just me? Anyway, I thought this one would be a quick find on first inspection, but it ended up taking longer than it would to determine the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow. (European.) Thanks for the cache, sunshine58!
What a great place to put this cache and a nice container too! Thanks Sunshine58 for placing it here. Log signed and replaced as found.
Love a cache that you can sit and sign the logsheet while enjoying the breeze and view . Signed log kingfisherau 11:10 am 2/9/20 and replaced all as found,

After a day of walking the Flaxton Walkers Camp to Baxter Falls, and paddling Coolum Creek you think I would have had enough adventuring for the time being. A bunch of new caches were published in the Sippy Downs area and I became pretty tempted to see if I could find them.
This was the third find for the night .
Some nice swaps left in the cache for others to enjoy.
Thank you
