Found this one on the ground close by, put it back by the post but it may need to be checked on.
In the area, to pick up a few caches.A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. Many thanks for placing this cache, Sui_001, for us and others to find.
In Canberra over Easter for the GeoBash Mega, and out caching with Infoferret today. Canberra has turned on some great weather for us this weekend, She is keen to find caches in as many suburbs as possible, so we stopped by here. A easier find than expected. Log signed as TINZ.
31 March 2024 12:48 TFTC Sui_001 for placing this cache, number 14012 for me. Easier find than the D/T ratings implied! Another suburb sorted for the Canberra mapping challenge.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.
Ive been here a few times with no success. Today with the car park quieter than usual walked along fenceline and spotted cache, finally found. With previous cachers photos I zoned in on the possible hide, but cache was slightly elsewhere. Tftc
A quick find here, though it's difficult being stealthy with the hockey game nearby! TFTC Sui_001!
A quick after work caching trip to the south, was fraud with delays - traffic jam on the Parkway (eventually passed an area closed off by a big team of search and rescue), a DNF south of here and then being be-night-ed. I held my breath for this one, given the recent DNF logs. As I approached the cache site I was slightly apprehensive as there was hockey training in progress and I was just inside the light spread of the big spotlights.
But then I found the cache within seconds, slightly distracted by an active spider in the vicinity.

Looked to the right, looked to the left, high and low. No little log and container and no little smile from me. All at GZ. MIA. Sad.
Nice quick find, cache in good condition. Didn't realize hockey fields were back here.

Carpark is eerily empty, considering how large it is. Makes stealth easy though hehe. Tftc
I have never been in this carpark before. Didn't even know it was here. Handy to know for a future run along the river.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Just a quick trip out of the house on a windy day to grab this one, quick find and placed back where it belong TFTC Sui_001
A nice easy find on a quiet day. I had no idea there was so much construction going on round the back of Tuggeranong! TFTC

Out and about for some cleaup work down Tuggeranong way. Did some great caches in Macarthur providing some great views, plus a number of other caches in Tuggers.
Beautiful day after a few days of day.....squelched across the hill towards the solar sights, simply tried to avoid mud elsewhere while finding tiny bisons.

Found the cache without any problems but finding a spot to sign the full log was much more difficult. TFTC
Found today and signed DSD or Darksidedan or AB or Adventure Boys to save space in the logbook. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.
While watching the son playing hockey at the adjacent fields, I took the opportunity between games to duck over and find this cache. Logged and replaced. TFTC
An easy find. Looks like the camo it may once have had is gone (can see some glue leftover). TFTC.
An instant find by the_proton, a relief after scratching around and a DNF at the former cache today. Got a stabby prickle out of my sock and into my finger. TFTC
The last day of this long weekend started with a very active event with lots of people, then a bit of caching around Tuggeranong Ton Center with Joolay.
I have enjoyed these Messengers series. Some fun camo in interesting spots.
Thanks for the cache Sui_001

The quickest find of today I would saw! Can't park right infront of it though due to the large fence that is blocking access, but it was still only a very short walk!
Thanks Messengers!
Thanks Messengers!
Collecting a couple caches in the area after the event. Quick find.
Thank you Sui_001 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

After watching WW84 at the cinemas in Tuggeranong, I decided to get a few quick park'n'grabs during the afternoon on the way home. The route I drove to GZ had me blocked 70m to go with a random square of construction fencing in the carpark, but it was then an easy walk to GZ and a quick find once the phone GPS settled. Some fun camo: TFTC Sui_001 and Messengers!
We've had a very poor year for geocaching this year, with fires, plagues and asthma playing havoc with my caching. We have only 77 for the year, our lowest by hundreds since we started. I want to get to at least 100 for the year. We've been in Brisbane visiting my aged Mum. That was touch and go as well, but we made it for a good visit. Now we are heading home, with 23 caches to collect in five days. We stopped in Moree, then Dubbo overnight and had a good time at the local clubs. On both days, storms prevented caching after arrival, so I've only got 10 so far. Now we are back, and getting ready for New Year's eve for a few friends, and for Mrs Mister JD's 50th birthday on 1 Jan, at 12:01 am no less. Busy busy busy.
Day five, fifteenth one down. This was a nice easy grab, my first in this series. Thanks Sui_001. I did have an adventure. There was a gated carpark, with the gates up. So OK, entry is OK. Then both gates closed behind me, and wouldn't open. Had to sneak out across country.
Will I get the 23 I need? I now know that I did, but is was touch and go, I tell you.

Quick find on a deserted evening. Cache may have taken a hit from the slashing but was ok.
Spent the day around Weston Creek, then Tuggeranong collecting a number of the more recently placed caches. TFTC.
The boom gates were down, but plenty of parking on the road outside. A quick find and the cache and log are good. I liked the camo. Have a favourite point. TFTC Sui_001.
After meeting my study goals for the weekend, I took a couple of hours to go caching. This cache and it's mate a little farther along the road (#1) were a nice way to ease into the afternoons activities.

A nice easy find.
We accidentally signed the wrong date (14th instead of 15th). TFTC!
