Logs
We continued today our tour of Queensland and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to alphag_25 for the generation of this nice cache Climb It Change 18 (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. We climbed but we could not find. Mozzies were vicious so we will try again another day
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 108. Mackay to Clairview via Sarina. I am heading south slowly and spent the long morning caching along the Bruce Highway and in Sarina. Apart from a few failed tree caches, I had a great day with some interesting locations visited. It is all the more entertaining doing it with a van, and sometimes this means longer walks or skipped caches.
Most of the days caches were quick rad side stops. This was another tree, that despite having no problems climbing, I failed completely to locate the cache. It must be there somewhere.
Thanks.

No luck for me today. I could have just missed it, but there are a fair few cut marks and broken branches around. Suggesting there has been people playing about in the tree. With no wander too, what a fantastic climbing tree. I'm going to bring the kids back here next time
Out for a sunday drive and collected a smiley on the way.
An easy find if you look in the right direction.

I thought I'd come and check the climb out. I don't often attempt these when I'm on my own but thought I should be certain it was too much for me.
I couldn't spot the cache from the ground but climbed up a little and saw it. After climbing the rest of the way up I was soon signing a fresh log.
Thanks for the cache and fun climb alphag_25.

Had a look from the ground, but as we couldn’t see anything decided to give this a miss.
Hi alpha_25,
We were not really lucky with your tree climbs around Sarina:
One with skateboardriders
One with tree maintenance workers
One just not sure which tree in very high grass area.
So we had to leave them.

No luck with our third tree climb.... As here were busy workers trimming trees. So we didn't stop.

Day 5 of our northern trip. Our team members are RoddyC, hatzofff, Snickersallan, Grannysmith1947 and Youngoldfella.
Today's journey takes us from Sarina to Mackay, visiting Sarina Beach and Hay Point along the way.
All up we found 40 caches, mostly in good order. YOF replaced logs on a couple, too
Walked from grass car parking along the river. Soon spied the cache and this time Snickerallan did the honors.
"Thank You", alphag_25, for the cache.

Apologies for simple logs as I have a lot to do. Could see it from the ground and thanks to the tree growth and all its climbing points, the monkey of the group went up. TFTC alphag_25
Oh I absolutely hate tree climbs !! [:o]
It's not the climbing that worries me,
it's the falling bit that does
But I wandered in anyway to GZ.
Ever the optimist,
I looked up and saw the cache
Found it !!

Oh yeah !!
The fine print
Alright !!
This is a tree I *can* climb
It's almost impossible to fall out of it [^]
So up the ladder of branches I went,
and soon had this cache log signed
Fave dance for this tree bound cache !!
