This is a strange one. The coords are in the middle of the road, and there were builders crawling all over the place, so we gave it a miss.
The GPS wanted us in the middle of the road but as we looked at the likely spots for a hide, the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks CharismaEmma for the cache.
I’m on my way to a CITO in Victor, and have time up my sleeve for a few bonus caches. Still a lot for me to choose from in this part of the state.
This looked quick and easy and wasn’t far off the direct route, and so here I am. For some reason this style of hide often gives me grief (even the red ones!) but I got lucky here and made quick work of this one. I hope that the advertised CCTV (on the fence) doesn’t cover GZ.
Thanks for this hide CharismaEmma.

OZGrumpy and I went out for a day of hunting to fill in some of my DT grid and grabbed this one on the way. I certainly did find it! TFTC CharismaEmma
On a lovely cooler day, KTPops and I went south to collect some smileys, some of which were high on our list for her DT grid, and others were puzzles I had solved in recent months. Armed with a multitude of TOTTs (except mosquito spray) we had a blast of a day.
This one was quickly found by KTPops while I was meandering on the other side. Cached signed and returned. The cache is in good condition. Find #7683 at 1.36pm

Found while caching around Victor Harbor for the day. The logsheet was very wet and unwritable so I replaced it with a new scroll of paper before heading on my way. Thanks for the cache CharismaEmma!
A one night stay at Milang with a walking group ended up as an extra night solo stay in the area.... just way too many green faces needing my attention. why did the cacher cross the road? and recross the road? tftc
Always a good thing to say while caching "Found It" is music to a cachers ears.
Another cache that we have driven past the end of the road so often!
This is what the cachers sing at the hard hides .......
I have climbed highest mountains
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you
Only to be with you
I have run
I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls
These city walls
Only to be with you
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
I have kissed honey lips
Felt the healing in her fingertips
It burned like fire
This burning desire
I have spoke with the tongue of angels
I have held the hand of a devil
It was warm in the night
I was cold as a stone
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
I believe in the kingdom come
Then all the colors will bleed into one
Bleed into one
But yes I'm still running
You broke the bonds
And you loosed the chains
Carried the cross
Of my shame
Oh my shame
You know I believe it
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

Hopped back n forth across the road for a while. Then... there it was dangling.
Found, Found It after a search on opposite side of road from originally indicated. Nanos are the scourge of the earth. Tftc
Found once we were on the right side of the road....you may get a few scratches
Caching down south with Dr Owl and JJ52 was the aim of the day. After meeting up with JJ52 the serious caching and fun and games started.
It took a while to spot the cache through the leaves. Thanks for the cache CharismaEmma.

Today I headed to VH and surrounds for a caching day.
Visitors coming to stay unexpectedly meant some frantic housework before I could leave home (they probably didn’t even notice ) so my 8.30 departure became 10.30 but there was a curry in the slow cooker and my house was the cleanest it’s been in weeks!
My goal had been to find 45 caches sadly this ended up being only 27 finds and 4 dnfs. Had a mint day out though the coast was looking beautiful and there was so much bird life to be seen.
Had a lovely cake and coffee in Goolwa and was please with my haul.
Spent ages here looking on both sides of the street but sadly came up empty handed. A car parked up behind me I wonder if these were the cachers who did find yesterday. Clearly way more experienced than I

A little close to the fence - lights came on as we were leaving! They must wonder... [:o)]

This cache was found and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or sometimes with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Stay safe when caching. Watch for snakes, random cliffs, wild goats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only ones you share and pass on
2020 turned into 2020won, and 2020too is on the way! 2020free should see us through
Still important to observe social distancing when possible, (150 nano caches apart should do it)
Still important to wash your hands (always has been really [:o)]
Still very important to look after each other and take precautions & get checked out for even the tiniest sniffle or cough, or unexpected headache! [8)] [B)]
Still even more important to get some fresh air and exercise while we can, so get out and cache the country!
Thanks so much to all those placing caches out and about away from the city crowds,
keeps our game safe and interesting
[:o)]

With today's weather forecast to be pretty good compared to yesterday we decided to head on out. Weather was okay but pretty choppy still out on the water. Surfers loved it! We managed to grab a few caches out and about.

Wow narrow street with cars parked every which way but managed to make a relatively quick find. Tftc
Been doing a lot of wall building at home and my muscles were aching. Time for a day off to do some caching and chill. So I called up Anymules and we met down at Victor Harbor to continue where we left off when our last day was cut short by an impending 5 day covid lockdown! I think I will rename Victor Harbor after today to Micro Harbor. I had brought several TBs to leave in caches down here but it took all day to find suitable sized ones. Just saying. [:o)]
FOUND IT! Nuff said.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks CharismaEmma for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Out and about for the first time this year. Staying at the nearby Motel. Nice easy walk to GZ. Yes, I agree about the great food at the Cafe. TFTC,
found at dusk. I went around and around the tree. I am blaming to many 60 + hour weeks, i should have found that in 1/2 the time. Now finally of to the service station, no more detours.
In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
Found it! The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

I caught up with kkrafter in Victor Harbor for a day of caching and some sightseeing...
This was our last cache for the day as it was just on 5pm and we had a bit of travel to get home...
This one took longer than it should have...yes definitely time for home...I realised I hadn't had a coffee since leaving this morning and my mojo was fading...

Out with hevwalker having a great time distressing what a way to do it getting some caches
A geocaching day had been organised with locus cache starting at McLaren Vale and who knows how that would go and where we would end up.
The first 3 caches had been targeted and we met erine14 and alysse14 at McLaren Vale, then headed to Kuitpo and Meadows for a yummy lunch at the bakery before saying goodbye to the girls. Then we wound our way to Strathalbyn, Langhorne Creek, Milang and Goolwa before finishing with the new Adventure Lab at Victor Harbor in the rain and dark after a really fun day.
Felt a little bit exposed here, but it was raining and only silly geocachers were out. Poked around for a while and while locus was holding her very powerful torch I spotted the cache. It then took a bit to get to it (and I got very wet!!) then used the tweezers to extract the log which we signed and replaced without it getting wet. Then back in the bush to replace it all as found.
Thanks for the cache CharismaEmma.

Having missed FTF on a Snakes and Ladders #2 cache a couple of days ago while with erine14, we'd arranged to come back this morning and brought alysse14 and JJ52 as well
After this we all drove to Kuitpo and did a TOTT cache together and shared a short walk into the new Joker cache then it was Meadows for lunch[^]
JJ52 and I continued caching in a loop from there to Strathalbyn, Langhorne Creek, Milang and concluded our day doing an adventure lab cache grab tour around Victor in the dark on a rainy wet night like a couple of old time smugglers[^]
1 DNF and 13 finds for a fantastic day out with lovely people[:X][^]
In the meantime, I was interviewed on the phone by a Melbourne uni group who are looking into geospatial awareness and thought geocachers may be able to assisst them in the information gathering stage of their app development I think we may have a new geocacher![^]

Not really keen on front yard caches or residential fences near caches.
