When we got out of the car Mrs Woodyrothwell asked me if she should wear her big jacket. Im no meteorologist or even know what star sign I am, but if I was wishing I had of worn my thermals then it was definitely cold. If the sun was to poke through then everything could change in a heartbeat. We didnt have far to walk so if we got hot and bothered under the covers it wouldnt bother the scorers. The sun never showed its ugly head so we were safe in our jumpers. Our even uglier faces were also safe.As we arrived I asked my wife where she would hide a cache. She told me she would hide it in her hand which it was. tftc
Quick odd find hahaha. Lots of mosquitos around today thanks to recent rain, so be wary. First time in this parkland, beautiful space for a walk. Thanks for this. Clever.
Thanks for the cache. Had a bit of a look around before it was found safe in hand. Signed and placed back.
Last find for the year to grab the souvenir Had more trouble signing the log than i did finding it. I only had a pencil dammit! A search of car i found a marker! Thanks for the cache!
Making the most of a long weekend, geopup Bella joined me on a caching trip to the southside.A quick find at gz, thanks Oztracker11 for the cache, giving a fave point for this one.
The minute I could, I left work this afternoon and headed out to this patch of bushland for a walk around the loop. And the geocaches, of course. I had my eye on them recently and figured an idle Wednesday is just as good as any other time. Besides, good to get out of my box and touch a tree each day.
By the time I arrived (had to detour around two accidents) it was a bit later than I loved, but onwards we go! Along the way, I never saw another human (nice). But did see a few grey kangaroos in the long grass, so that was lovely. The wide trail made the stroll easy and I was impressed by how many signs are dotted through here.
At the very start of the walk, I knew I was walking past this icon on my map, and figured I'd grab it when nearly back at the car. Which is what I did. Annoyingly, the sun had set and this was a hunt done entirely by phone light. On my second lap of this little grove, I spotted something likely. Sure enough, it contained a logbook; woot! At 17:57 I signed my name and replaced as found. I like a thoughtful geocache like this! No horse seen for me. And now time to head home for dinner! Thanks for this geocache, Oztracker11

In the eastern suburbs for Sunday afternoon which is the new family arrangement. Eldest child has a regular mates catch up, which means the dog and I get a couple of hours to entertain ourselves.
I had not been to this bushland before, and I parked super close, which was good, because i left my pen in the car.
I ended up finding the cache really quickly, and i was pleasantly surprised with the clever recycling making the container.
I signed the log roll as AWT?
Thanks very muchOztracker11 for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Cheers

No horses today unfortunately but a quick find in a GZ that spoke to me on approach lol . It’s always great to open my map ️ when I’m in a different location for work and have some geocaching fun to break up the work week. Nice hide. Tftf
Out and about this afternoon to pick up a few south side caches on a beautiful sunny winters day in south east Queensland.
Found a safe place to park the car and made my way to ground zero to locate the cache. Didn’t take long before the cache was in hand and pen applied to the log. Returned the cache to its hiding place and trudged back to the car
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

This was found surprisingly quickly for the great hiding spot. Geokid said that the hiding spot was "oddly suspicious", so checked it out. The horses were lovely company.
I was out with the GeoPartner today to go for a walk. I had forgotten to renew my premium account that had expired a day or two before. We still went out and had fun looking for this.
Great way to start the new year and go geocaching. TFTC. Favourite from me for the craftsmanship.
We are on an afternoon walk around this bushland and followed along beside the farm which eventually brought us up to this cache. The little lambs were very frisky and active this afternoon. I saw something and thought could that be, even though I thought we still had a number of m's to get to GZ. Checked it out and sure enough, it was the cache. Well created and clever. A nice neat find. TFTC.

A lovely hide along this beautiful walkway. Everywhere was green and shaded. No horses today!
After a short search we soon had the clever hide in our hands.
A FP added

Today i said to my husband "how about a little walk" . He said i know all about your "little walks" , i will get my hiking shoes on and plenty of water. Well it turned out it took us only 1 and a half hours and 4km to find the 6 caches around here and the paths were all shady and nice and flat so i think he may trust me more next time. We really enjoyed the walk around here and this was our third cache to find and we did go around in circles for awhile but my husband read the description again and after a few more minutes he called out those magic words "i found It" . What an awesome cache. We didnt see any horses here today but we loved this cache and both agree it deserves a FP for all the fun.
We were close to giving up on this one but suddenly there it was! Extracted, signed and replaced the log and then the cache back in its location. Thanks for the hunt.

Out for the day with Catboy67, Giraffe18 and PirateLinda... and we're nearing the end of the adventure...
It's raining on and off... it's overcast and a little chilly... It was hard to ignore the obvious feature here, actually just to hard, so in I went... and then Catboy67 went in... so after going round for awhile, we resorted to reading logs... some clues were gleaned... I went one way, Giraffe18 went the other... G18 came up with the nicely crafted cache...
Today, Geepers had us at 15m from GZ... but it was pretty overcast... and wet.... TFTC....

Great Geo Oztracker11! We were wondering around a little but I found it in the end. Out with PirateLinda and Peppa and CatBoy67.
Very clever. Needed all four sets of eyes from the team of myself, Peppa, Giraffe 18 and Catboy67 today. Read all the logs kept widening and widening until Giraffe came up with the goods
Needed a little help. But it’s not a hard one once you are in the right area.
The new log is double bagged and nice and dry. Signed.

We have been here before to another cache nearby some time ago. We managed to find it some distance away from the co-ordinates but that's the fun of searching. Isn't that so? Very well hidden but unfortunately due to dampness, it was hard to sign off. Signed and replaced, then down came the rain!! Thanks Oztracker11.
Driving past so dropped in to check on cache.
All well here. Cheers, Oztracker11.

I have had this cache on my radar since it was published but I have not had the opportunity to check it out until today.
I am quite familiar with this area and after parking at the nearby entrance I took the short stroll to the area.
I am sure that I walked past the cache at least 3 times before I checked it out thoroughly and located the cache.

Found eventually. Did need to read the logs. Beautiful friendly cache guardian showed us the way. Curious little fellow. Tftc
As I got close to this cache a pair of dog walkers stopped close to GZ to pat the horse.
I continued along the path a bit before turning around.
Good find at the coordinates.
The friendly horse came to say hi at the parking coords before I left
Thank you for this cache

Finally found this one, maps are a bit off in here so it’s about 6m out. Nice camo container, looks like every other stick in here!
Was just about to throw in the towel when I literally stumbled upon the hiding spot. GPS was not being helpful, and not in the obvious places!
Cool camo, TYFTF.

Nice and close to the parking area, so some stealth required.

Off to get a cache placed in September and this one was close to home. Arrived at GZ and no horse to greet me but I did find a well crafted cache hiding and waiting for me to grab it. Extracted the log, signed it then replaced everything as found. I quickly running out of close caches now. TFTC
A short walk from the car park to find a crafty cache.
A placid lizard was guarding the cache at the pleasant GZ. Unfortunately the creature was a little too placid. Spotted the well-made cache and left my mark.

Quick find. Nice camo. The horse didn’t seem interested in me today. Thanks for the cache
FTF woohoo.
So I was sitting at home contemplating feeding the animals and work out my dinner.
Ooohhhhh look an FTF just a few km from home.
I grab my keys and bail out the door.
Thinking this will be a quick trip but NOoooo, of course every single red light.
After what felt like half an hour I arrive at the car park. No one, that’s a good start.
GPS was bouncing around so I looked around for the most likely. That big tree looks good but no, just spiders.
Ok what else, there is a different caps on the fence. No just unhappy spiders.
So I keep looking, well what do you know.
Found it and a blank log. Woohoo
I love this sort of cache. Love it.
Placed back the way I found it.
