Sorry Angus88, after a thorough search I did not come up with the goods today for your Traditional, Westie Series - ROSIE. It may be worth a sanity check to see that it is still here, I have been known to be cache blind at times.
Hi Angus88. Today I/we attempted to find your Westie Series - ROSIE. Unfortunately, one of the following happened and that made us unsuccessful in logging a find :1. Hadnt rubbed all the sleep out of my eyes. 2. Hadnt had breakfast so was concentrating on filling my stomach. 3. Had someone else with me and they couldnt be bothered looking and wanted to leave. 4. Had muggles hanging around waiting for me to leave so they could relieve themselves. 5. Wrong time of day. 6. Wrong time of night. 7. Wrong information given to me about where the cache is hidden. 8. Coordinates out by more than 10 metres. 9. Nobody has blown up the nano factory yet. 10. Too much or not enough water / light / GPS signal. 11. Flat battery in navigation device. 12. Cache has been stolen / muggled. 13. Such a small cache hidden in such a large area (fake rock in a boulder field / pico in west coast horizontal scrub)14. Too far up the tree to reach with the ladder AND the pole. 15. Too far down the hole to reach with a magnet or grabby tool. 16. I gave up looking. 17. I need to be somewhere else soon/now/a while ago. No offence intended! One of these may actual fit my DNF on your cache.
No luck for us today. Found plenty of green and prickly before being muggled out

In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Out on the bike today grabbing a few on this series, while hubby had an appointment. Took a bit of a search, wasn't sure of the hint but watch out for the blackberries. Thanks Angus88 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
This morning after a leisurely start from our base in East Devonport we headed for a walk by the river on the bike track. Most enjoyable with all caches we looked for found which is always a great result. The recycle can project cant come a day too soon for Tassie, lots of cans littering the way. Interesting to see how fast the tides turn on this river. We are looking forward to Pig island too TFTC
Fav point from us Looked for a long time and finally found it Log hasnt been changed still quite full Thanks for the cache
Walked the trail between areas our car could pull off.Caching with The X-Trailers finishing the trail we started walking last night. TFTC
2 for the price of one!! my cousins found this geocache and my dad found another in the stump to the left of it that isn’t listed on here?? weird but we logged both!
Adelaide to Hobart Road Trip.
Day Three: Devonport Ferry to Latrobe (via Penguin and Sheffield).
Weather: sensational.
I’ve decided to finish the day with a walk along the Mersey River, and this was one of seven caches in the Westie series that I logged. I stayed in Latrobe Caravan Park the last time I was here, the night before all the flooding started. You wouldn’t really know that there had been a flood from walking along here today.
All caches were easily found and in good condition thanks to the double container system used. Thanks for the cache and the series Angus88.

Can confirm cache is alive and well. No pen so didn't sign yet. Will return
Awesome find… I almost looked past it. Very imaginative thanks for the cache
Returned to find this one today! After a weekend in Hobart caching time to get some more back at home early this morning.
This cache took a bit longer than it should have haha. Soon enough had cache in hand, thanks for the maintenance and find!

A tricky but awesome find! The boys were excited to be the first to log since it had been adjusted.

Had a good look for this cache around the now stump, looks like there has been a lot of dirt sliding down the small hill and no sign of a cache that I can see
Out and about caching with all the Rafas for our holidays TFTC TNLN log dry, a trial run with a scooter saw this an easy task to get to.
Thanks for the cache Angus88.
RLD4963, the two GeoGSP's and I were making our way to Port Sorell for a few days r&r. We have driven along this road a few times over the past couple of years, and have seen this track under construction and once finished have thought what a great piece of infrastructure. Today we actually walked along it and searched for your caches along the way. We passed a lot of people using the track - walkers, familes on bikes, other dogs walking their owners, and a even a couple of people on an e-scooter - this included RLD4963, who was giving his knees a rest.
Tree is just a stump now, but still a nice quick find.

Amazing hide. Very hard to see. Hunted for a bit and then had it on hand. Yay! Thank you for the fun!
Found this one on a sunny afternoon lots of clouds in the distance and A lovely breeze coming off the river.

While we were in Devonport for an event today we decided to try a few other caches in the area. We'd done a few other caches along this new track but not this one so finding it filled in a gap on our map. A quick find but the tree in the hint isn't there anymore. TFTC
After a DNF I checked with a friend they had found it with some information so I went back for a look and came up with trumps. How did I miss that? Was more concentrating on the fact that the tree had gone,
Nice to get out with my daughter's geocaching on my Birthday.
Thanks Angus88 for placing this cache.

At 09:35 on Wednesday the 24th of November 2021, the log was signed.

Found with LittleBoo17. This cache is no longer a sistema container but a great little hide. LittleBoo17 picked this one up by accident before realising he had the cache in his hand TFTC
Up in Devonport for a few meetings and peppered with as much geocaching as practical.
We enjoyed the first half of this Westie Series late last year, although then there was still a lot of construction work going on. It’s nice to come back and experience the trail fully completed. Such a glorious walk and a great series.
Happy to turn this one from a previous blue frown into a very happy yellow smiley. TFTC

Hi Angus88, found Rosie this morning on my wander early in the morning. This was No 3 found while walking along the new trail. As you are already aware enjoying this series of hides muchly. Thank you for your contribution to my pleasure.
So many muggles out on this bike/walking trail today - a real mixture of cyclists, walkers, dog walkers, skateboarders, roller bladers and scooters.
Luckily there was no one in sight when we arrived at GZ and while Mr Beetle kept watch I dealt with the cache.
Then we continued on to Bells Parade before cycling back.
Thanks for the cache and it is good to finally have completed this series.

Well, last time we visited this one (which is our daughter's name), it was missing due to the new pathway/bikeway works. Now back in place and ready to be found in a very convenient place, although perhaps carelessly rehidden by the last finder. Thanks for this cache and all the others in the series. We now have the lot thanks.
Another nice find... and last one for the day..still more to find in this area so will be back.. Tftc
Out and about caching with whitewebbs on a lovely summers day and found your cache along the way.

In the area caching with Tassie Trekkers on a lovely day to be out and about and this was one we targetted as previously a dnf. Nice to change the frown to a smile. Thanks for replacing. We also tried to find Lochie as well but there were trackworks at GZ which it seems will be there for quite a while as putting in a cement path.
24 January 2021. Owner maintenance. ROSIE has a new cache in her spot. At solo tree in 80m stretch.
A search party will soon set out to find ROSIE so that she can be put back in her place.
