Hi Angus88. Today we found your cache on the Devo trip for the year. VK7HCH and I hatched yet another plan to whip it up to the north to continue our plundering of caches both GC and GCA. As there are so many caches in this area we had freedom of choice to do those we wished to. We have solved a few puzzles so we can find those and lots of others. Although I didnt find the girl U want, the caches were enough. Its a beautiful world here in Tassie. Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find today. Finding this cache takes my GC finds to 5214 and I found it on Friday 25 Oct 2024FTF: NoMates: VK7HCHMuggles: Condition: GoodWeather: slightly cloudyMy favorites:Creative - Back to the future 1 by peaches (GCA5JYD)Hardest - Men in Black Holes by SG-3 (Archived)Most visited - Dragons Lair by Shagzter (GC2E33)Tractable also visited your cache
Thanks Angus88 for placing Westie Series - TILLIE. Swampy and I headed back to plunder more of the Northern coast over the Hobart Show long weekend. 4 day long weekend for 1 days annual leave. Sweet. This is day 2. Devonport and surrounds. At least my log is not full of bad 80s references. This run has us finding both GC and GCA caches. So many caches, so little time. This is my GC find #2132 and was found on 25/10/2024 at 10:15FTF: Found with: SwampyWeather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
thought Id see what I was looking for in a second, but gave up after chilling my fingers running them along many cold rails!
A very quick find after the last one. A beautiful morning to stroll along here today. TFTC
Another funny rail...Thanks For The CacheINFORMATIONFind (EST)/SL Time:5/13:52TODAY FINDS/DNF:4/0Finder Note: All SYSTEMS GO ON THIS CACHE!
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Out on the bike today grabbing a few on this series, while hubby had an appointment. A bit of a head wind today but an easy enough find. Thanks Angus88 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
This morning after a leisurely start from our base in East Devonport we headed for a walk by the river on the bike track. Most enjoyable with all caches we looked for found which is always a great result. The recycle can project cant come a day too soon for Tassie, lots of cans littering the way. Interesting to see how fast the tides turn on this river.Another quick find and sign TFTC
Before visiting a fellow cacher nearby, I decided to take GeoCleo for a walk along the river to try and wear her out a bit A windy day, with some sunshine and no rain, perfect for a wander.TFTC Angus88Keep smiling
Out for an early evening stroll with The X-Trailers. Started off looking for 1 cache and ended up with 5 finds . A nice time to be out walking. TFTC
Thought we would take a family stroll for mothers day. So far both successful finds
Thanks for the cache Angus88.
RLD4963, the two GeoGSP's and I were making our way to Port Sorell for a few days r&r. We have driven along this road a few times over the past couple of years, and have seen this track under construction and once finished have thought what a great piece of infrastructure. Today we actually walked along it and searched for your caches along the way. We passed a lot of people using the track - walkers, familes on bikes, other dogs walking their owners, and a even a couple of people on an e-scooter - this included RLD4963, who was giving his knees a rest.
A quick find. Really enjoying this walk.

While we were in Devonport for an event today we decided to try a few other caches in the area. We'd done a few other caches along this new track but not this one so finding it filled in a gap on our map. A quick find with the aid of the hint. TFTC

Up in Devonport for a few meetings and peppered with as much geocaching as practical.
We enjoyed the first half of this Westie Series late last year, although then there was still a lot of construction work going on. It’s nice to come back and experience the trail fully completed. Such a glorious walk and a great series.
A little more sneaky than some of the others. TFTC

Hi Angus88, stopped by this morning to collect another three of your caches in the Westie Series. Lottie our Lab never ceases to amaze us with her antics!! Tillie was easily retrieved after wandering along the path. All good at GZ, thanks again for a great series.
The second one tackled today and an identical hide to the first.
Doing this series on a public holiday worked out well, with no workers to worry about.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Combining a trip to the poultry farm for bagged manure, coffees at the Crowded Lounge and collecting the remainder of the Angus Series of caches. A bit wiser to traffic movements and construction activities this time, so collected the first three this end of the trail in good time. All good at GZ, dry and conveniently placed. Thanks for this series, which will come into its own once the pathway is complete.
