I’ve been wanting to walk the riverside trail for a while, and today finally had the opportunity with Zozetta. A lovely quiet track with plenty of caches, we ended up with twenty three finds today including ten on this track, nine of those in this series.
I knew that some of the archived caches in this series were still here and so I wrote down their coords planning to try and get all but one of the archived caches.
It was a quick find, but the only one of the archived caches we could find today.
Yes the log book is very wet.
Thanks for the cache Diadem and TaurusSix!

Found today with one of the Jr. Cachers.
Could not sign log as it was too waterlogged. Notebook feels slimy.

Decided to take the dog for a walk and this seemed like the perfect spot co spidering all the geocaches I could collect along the way. All is good with the cache and contence. Thanks for the hide
In Brighton today out this afternoon for a few caches, TFTC found with the lid off, dried the log enough to sign.
QOTSA and I are out and about trying to get the next reach the peak challenge. Our first find for the day. Thank you
Out for a brisk walk to get some fresh air and a few caches close to our accommodation.
Made quick finds here.
A few other walkers about, almost scored a dog as well.
Turned around here and went back to solving puzzles
Thank you for the cache

Sprung on the last one by a Muggle and a Dauschund. Thanks for this run ,we have been lucky to walk from the lounge to the kitchen due to covid ,and now just finished this walk . Both a bit pooped. TFTC
After staying the night at the free camp area at Kempton we headed south this morning to attempt this series of caches.
When we arrived the fog was thick and the wind was blowing a gale, so much so that you could see the water being blown off the river and across the car park.
So we abandoned the idea of caching here and headed off to grab a few nearby ones.
We returned after lunch and although the wind was still strong the fog had lifted. It still wasn't conducive to bike riding though so we decided to head to the last one in the series where Mrs Beetle and her bike were dropped off and Mr Beetle drove back to the parking area to pick her up.
At least this way the wind was behind her.
Took the least friendly way to this one and ended up with clay all over my boots but found a friendlier way back.
And a train came past while I was up there.
Thanks for this cache and the series.

Doing my one a day to fill in my calendar. Sometimes i leave it a bit late and other times i have 2 that i did are hard in the dark/wet etc. I knew where your cache was as i had handled it before but not actually logged it (leave some for others to claim) so it was a sure bet. Actually not exactly where i remembered it being but close enough. I slipped coming down, fortunately stayed on 2 feet.

Today we decided to head to New Norfolk and surrounds and find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A great day out, not too cold, sun out allowed us to enjoy the great outdoors.
A great series, we enjoyed the walk along the path finding caches in different hides. We found all the caches which was great! Cache and contents were in excellent condition.
Thanks Diadem and TaurusSix for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

On a short day out to grab a handful of hides i decided on this one of 3 near to the parking area here
A bit of a blowy day but cool to mild, not cold at all [^] Started to cloud over which arrested any chance of sun soaking into my bones.
A quick find was made and the log was signed to a nice view of...

Given we needed to replace 2 caches from this series of 12 caches, we thought it would be a good idea to do a check of all the caches.
Pleased to report all good with cache.

Decided to tackle the caches along this nice easy walk beside the river after finding a few here some years ago. Although it was a lovely day the search for this series of caches turned out to be a bit of a calamity, found this first cache quite quickly but it’s retrieval from the prickle bush drew the first bit of blood for the trek. Oh dear, not a good start. TFTC.
Picked the last one up on this walk tonight due to muggles last time we were here tftgc
A quick look, but with my footwear and a 20m accuracy I did not look for long.
Thanks for showing off this track.
I will be back for this one at some other stage

Had a nice day for a walk and a series of caches that I needed to find. Wandered around track in no particular rush, just soaking in the sun, view and number of birds. Swans were common as I wandered along, especially a pair keeping pace with me going upstream as I wandered along.
Found all by one of the caches which I fear is missing
Tftc.
Found this cache last. As normal on these types of trails I leave the first one so I know how I am going on the walk back
Great series to do today.

Just discovered a whole bunch of drafts I hadn't logged. Found on a pleasant walk with Mr H and young Yogi dog.

A beautiful morning for a walk. This track was perfect to take the dog for a good stretch of the legs along with a paddle and a bonus of several caches to find too. TFTC!

Hi Diadem
Needed to hunt plastic today and get some exercise, so this series made the hit list
My bike was extracted from the shed, the tyres pumped up and off we went
The cache was Sainted at 1225 hours with a little longer hunt than was necessary
There were plenty of muggles at the start of the track but few along the way
The weather was perfect which made the views really great
Using the bike, the first time in a long time, it made the trek a lot easier
Thanks for the series and the fun
Cheers OldSaint

Hi Taurus Six & Diadem, thank you for another series. Had a little time on my lunch break to collect two of them this afternoon. This was my first and after collection I heard the train coming so popped up to grab a couple of pics. All's good at GZ as expected with a relatively new cache,
had that contortionist feeling as I reached around.

We thought the wind would not be so bad today and we were hoping for great weather! Wind not too bad and the sun came out a few times! A nice walk and surprisingly no muggles apart from the first parking spot!
We were fairly lucky today as we were able to follow the geotrail to most caches! Some of the lids on the containers were hard to get off. Found in the second place we looked.

found all by myself the first of the new caches along the walking trek train line, nice views a windy day I did 2 here and the new GCA marker at the car park in granton. TFTC TNLN log dry.
Today's caching was to be a bit of a loop round Bridgewater and New Norfolk to collect the new caches that have come out since I was last up this way.
I picked the Goose up at just after 9 and after a few caches on the North side of the river we had a lunch of Pizza at the market before finding a few on th way home, as a bonus there was a new GCA published and we just managed a FTF.
Quick find on this first cache of the day, cache was dry even with the cache being open.

Back again with the GeoGSP, other end of the track to last week. Only passed one group of muggles on the track, although there was another having a fish in their wading gear close to the parking area. A nice walk along the river, and all were nice quick finds.
First cache of the day. Followed a sticky, muddy path to GZ. Great I'm filthy already.
With so many new caches, it was a pretty easy decision for our caching destination today. As is customary, stainless steel rat and I stopped for a takeaway coffee before heading to Bridgewater to do the trail there along the Derwent foreshore then up to New Norfolk for Pizza lunch at the market and a few more caches. We came down the western side of the river and picked up a couple more caches up in the hills on the way home.
Thanks for the cache Diadem

Out and about on another glorious spring day finding caches that have recently appeared and this was one of them. It was nice to return and walk the track from Riverside Drive. There were plenty of muggles walking dogs and pushing prams. We looked when we started, no luck. Lots of bushes so had a look on our return and finally found it further up than we thought. TFTC
Hello Diadem thank you for the cache
This evening EeePees and I were out caching before our BNO.
back at the car and with no one around we made a start on a search for this cache of yours.
This one took a lot longer to find than the others.

TFTC found with AlbyDangles.
It was monthly BoysNightOut, but as there were just the two of us, we turned it into a caching mission. We parked at the suggested co-ords, didn't stop for this one due to muggles, but we're now back and pretty much muggle free.
This one was pretty much in the first place I looked - but I didn't see it.
After searching here and there, I checked this spot again from a different angle, and bingo!
Thanks Diadem and TaurusSix.
It's a magic Tassie Spring afternoon for a caching stroll.
Cheers, EPs.

We arrived down South this afternoon with sufficient time to look for the caches in the recently published Derwent Views series. Despite a cool breeze, it was a pleasant walk along the track. There were a few muggles but they did not cause any hassles with each search. A combination of the hint and accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Diadem and TaurusSix for this cache and the series.
FTF was not expecting another ftf in this series . another quick find at gz all's good with the cache . Thanks TuarusSix and Diadem
