We came and got the ladder out and put it in a shed it that matched the images , climbed up but could not spot the. cache
We spent quite a long time looking a tree and sky. Eventually our eyes and necks couldnt take it any more and we had to give up. We were a bit surprised as apparently it's bright and an easy find. May be it has fallen out or was muggles by the people camping underneath it a week or so ago - when gave it a miss then. Or perhaps our geogoggles are dirty? Any it was cool and we weren't disturbed.

Muggle65 quickly solved this in the car and we set off for GZ. Having flown in from Brissy, this was the only TOTT we had with us. M65 retrieved and returned the prize. I pretended to be very supportive. Thank you for a very fun cache
Greetings from Tasmania..
Solved at homework before come up here for few holidays…

#11753 - 9:58:00 AM; Did a recce on this cache last week and returned today with some TsoTT for the log attempt. The first ToTT was deployed, but came up short. Unleashed numberv two and the retrieval was easy and I was happy to finally add my name to the log. The next challenge, after the original puzzle, was to return the cache from whence it came. Finally managed to do so after a several futile attempts. Clearly I need some more practice TFTC Rapidlywild
Stopped by this cache after scoping out another one nearby with Turtle284. After arriving at GZ turtle supplied the goods and had that sucker in hand real quick. TFTC!
Injuryman and myself met up this afternoon to check out Sui's tree challenge and then decided to just have a look at this cache.
We had both separately completed the puzzle and hadn't gotten around to entering the GZ.
So today we made the approach and spotted the cache on its perch.
With the ute nearby and all tools on board, the necessary equipment was put into play and another Jigidi was put to rest.
Thanks Rapidlywild for preparing this one.

Well that was a lot of fun and lateral thinking. Lucky I have my TOTT with me all the time. Visiting from Gold cOast.

This weekend from 17-21/06/2021, I joined georode and gridge98 in visiting our nation's capital, Canberra for geocaching adventures. We prioritised the higher difficulty-terrain combinations, as well as the more special/unique cache types.
On Thursday, I largely spent the day solo and visited Black Hill lookout, the Botanic Gardens, Australian National University and nearby Canberra Central, and then gridge98 and I walked around the front of Parliament area in Parkes.
Friday was spent completing a few hikes in Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve and Kowen Escarpment Nature Reserve, before then meeting locals at a Friday evening dinner event.
Saturday was predominantly the UFO series in Bullen Range Conservation Reserve, targeting the higher terrain ridge area.
On Sunday, we arose to the morning's CITO event, before returning to Goorooyarroo Reserve for more walking around those hills.
Finally on Monday, gridge98 and I headed north to Yass for the Birds of Australia Wherigo series, a few climbing caches, and returning to ACT completing the UGC series.
Today, we commenced the day with a CITO and short walk around the area. Following this, we continued the L-Plate and P-plate series by returning to Goorooyarroo Reserve walking a further 15 km. After lunch, we stayed around Canberra's northern suburbs, visiting Amaroo, Crace, Hall, Moncrieff, Nicolls, and Taylor, collecting various adventure caches that involved tree climbing, and other TOTT tree fishing and ladders.
A puzzle that wasn't too tough to solve prior to our trip, and just need a little patience.
Today, we made the drive to Hall passing through a few Adventure Lab Locations too. We arrived at GZ, and it didn't take long to spot the cache, however we ran into trouble when our TOTT was too short to reach the branch! Just like all field puzzles, we looked around, and brainstormed with what we had in order to make this retrieval. A sling was added, but that felt difficult still, as well as the concern that we wouldn't be able to loosen it. We then thought about using the vehicle to gain extra height, but given it was a rental vehicle, we were also concerned about getting any scratches or dents in it. In true MacGyver style, we had some foam from the morning CITO to place between the TOTT and vehicle, and away gridge98 went up to grab the cache. Phew. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Rapidlywild for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
P.s. it is my photograph; gridge98 stole it from me to post with his log.

Completed this one together with Davidwazza and gridge98 on a sunny afternoon.

What an adventure. I will remember this one for a while. Better not bringing up as a safety share at work or showing the the car rental company...

This was a fun cache to find and took a lot of brain thinking on how to get to the cache with such a short ladder but as per my photo it was done
This afternoon we headed around collecting targets in the northern suburbs
This weekend I headed to Canberra with Davidwazza and Georode after being asked a month or so ago if I would like to join them for 4 days, planning occurred and a list of 110 targets were chosen consisting of DTs, oldies and special cache types.
Day 1, I arrived in the evening and headed out with David Wazza for a few hours before georodes arrival, we headed to capital hill to find some random caches in the freezing cold.
Day 2, we set off early in the morning for a half day hike around Goorooyarro Park collecting all the puzzles and a few trads in the area, after lunch we had walked 17km for the morning, off we headed to kowen forest for some of the CBR wherigos, half way around it started to pour so called it early and thought doing the drive bys in the series would be a much better idea, in the evening we went to an event and was great to meet a few locals.
Day 3, we set off before the sun had risen for the main target of the day, the UFO series, with so many in the series we focused on the ones along the fire trail and a few in the paddocks, despite being buggered we walked another 18km for the day, in the afternoon we targeted some of our target list in the southern area
Day 4, after a morning CITO we headed back to Goorooyarra Park to complete the remaining caches in the area and finish the L and P plate series, another walk completed over 15km for the trip, in the afternoon we drove around the northern suburbs collecting caches off our target list
Day 5, after dropping georode off at the airport, davidwazza and I headed to Yass for the birds of Australia series and a few of the challenges in the area, after completing the caches we headed back to Canberra past a few caches before attacking the entire UGC series, being tight for time the trip wouldn’t have been complete without going to the Canberra nature park to collect the oldest caches
Total of 356 caches plus a few labs along the way,
Thanks for the caches and their placements

Was able to solve the puzzle quickly and then drove to scope it out - dang, first Sunday of the month and the area had quite a few muggles nearby. Today however, drove to GZ and deployed tools for the retrieval. SL, TFTC
Day 1 of the Canberra adventure begins. With a handful of challenge caches and over half the labs of Canberra in the list it’s going to be both a long and ambitious day!
OzHockeyChick made the great find on this one. We had to wait for a muggle nearby to drive off before making the find.
Thanks Rapidlywild for the cache.

A weekend road trip to Canberra with RoamingHowie, targetting AdLabs, various grid fillers, interesting DTs, challenges and of course, solved puzzles.
Always love getting jigidi, and the ladder certainly felt jigidi here.
Thankfully it reached... just.
Slightly outside my comfort zone, but I am getting better with each climb.
Thanks for your contribution to our gameboard, Rapidlywild

I solved this puzzle quite some time ago but didn’t try finding it for a long time. My first visit to the GZ was fruitless because I messed up entering the solved coordinates and found myself 50m from the correct spot. Today I returned, spotted it right away and deployed the TOTT for the find. TFTH
Had solved the puzzle without too much problem some time ago but it had the opportunity to make it out to GZ. Today was the day. Parked nearby, muggle dog exercisers the only ones about. Found the correct locations and deployed the TOTT. Grabbed the little blighter and carefully signed and replaced. Back down and off I went. TNLNSL TFTC
Another group effort but olmalol came to our assistance and retrieved the log - well done. TFTC.
As part of a group effort, a ladder was put up a tree and volunteers were required! As we had been reaping the fruits of all the other cachers’ and their TOTTs, this was the perfect one for us to help out with! With the TOTT shaking we made the find - thanks for this one Rapidlywild!
3rd for the morning after the mass gathering at the BIG one further up in Hall. Ladder was deployed and one of the newer caches did the honour of making the grab. Solved the puzzle once at home to add to other thousands I've done since Covid started.
Thanks for this one RW.....
(Note: Wrong cache was logged. Log for GC8ZW96 - Jigidi Jigidi has been deleted. Apologies for the muck up.....)

This was another that I had already solved so when out caching in a group one of the younger newer members did the climb up the ladder. Log was thrown down and signed by all in attendance that required this cache. TFTC RW
With a planned group attempt on 'it was thiiiiiiiiis big!' a little later in the morning with dty73, Tankengine and GreyHams we arrived earlier to look for a few others in the area too. A very good morning with far more people than I expected in the end, seems that most of the Canberra caching community arrived to the mini unscheduled event!
This was a bit of a stretch and the ladder barely reached, was pleased for a calm day or a breeze may have rocked the ladder top free. Still the cache was reached and signed, and returned so all good! Thanks for the cache.

Nice cache and reached easily with a TOTT. In Hall rounding up a few caches with Joolay and Kittykatch. Tftc
Found after picking up some others in Hall this morning. Nice easy puzzle and high level cache. TFTC
# 6731 A good number of us turned up for this group effort. I've tried this one in the past but without the correct TOTT. There was a horsey person camped nearby but a bit of PR work had him onside. Quick retrieval with the right tool and a willing climber.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache Rapidlywild

Lovely to pick this one up after a get together to get a cache up the road. Quick find and all good with cache. TFTC Rapidlywild
TFTC A day out on the trail picking up some tree climbs along the way, a lot of fun to be have. Great team effort with Marmaduke Rothschild, Binliner, Goldenwattle, Decrypter, and StarsAlign. TOTT definitely came in handy!
Even more special as this find closed out my first D/T loop. Hip Hip Hooray!!
Thanks Rapidlywild for place and maintaining this and so many other caches for our enjoyment.

A day of tree climbs with StarsAlign (and muggle friend) Binliner, Contesta, Goldenwattle, and Dcrypter. Love these sorts of puzzles to solve and glad the rest of our group wanted to divert to this one to collect. TFTC
An enjoyable day's caching with StarsAlign, Marmaduke Rothschild, contesta, Goldenwattle, decrypter and Peter.
All attempted were found with the aid of a suitable TOTT where required. The team all participated in the finds, with the more challenging ones scaled by the more able climbers.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Rapidlywild.

A fun day out with Contesta, Marmaduke Rothschild, Binliner, Goldenwattle and Decrypter. Together we shared important roles such ladder safety officer, cache spotter, cache retriever, cache signerer - all duties allocated by luck/chance or bad luck. Gotta love this quirky caching game. TFTC Rapidlywild.

We found this one after trying once before. Our first attempt was too short and we needed to be taller and higher. We came back. My uncle, Mr Domsky arranged for us to get even higher up, and Hogwarts85 did the up and down. We signed the log, while the cicadas above sprayed us.
Thanks Rapidlywild
Hogwarts85
Thanks Rapidlywild
Hogwarts85
Yippee! We did it!
We tried to find this yesterday, but despite how many human towers we built, we could not quite reach the little shiny object just out of our reach.
Today, we came back with the back up team and a few extra metres.
It was the littlest one, from Hogwarts85 who did the final balance at the top and lowered the log to the ground.
The jigidi was solved by the Domsky’s back in Brisvegas before the road trip.
We added our name to the log and then back up to return to its very safe place.
BTW, GZ is an abundance of Black Prince cicadas.
Thanks Rapidlywild. A fun adventure.

Day 3 of caching in the Canberra and Yass regions with a couple of grumpy old mates. Today the plan was to collect the CBR WIG series and do a spot of fishing. Things mostly went to plan.
Having completed the WIG series and a number of fish already in the cooler box, it was time to head out to Hall. One member of the team had already visited a few days ago so we knew exactly which TOTT to deploy. Decided to implement some additional safety gear to hold things in place in the wind but my repeated efforts proved to be short of the mark. No problem for one of the other team members after which I scampered up to sign the log.

The original plan was a walk in some of the high country but with some road closures it was changed to GOM's going to the ACT and Yass for a few day walks and caches.
We meet up with Team Canary to do a few select caches before meeting up with the rest of the group the following day,
No problems with the puzzle but by the time we got to GZ the wind was blowing and the ladder only just made it so time to make it a quick accent and sign while Team Canary kept things steady. TFTC
As it turned out a re visit two days later when more of GOM came through and a similar process again.

It’s not often that you can complete two DT loops in a few hours. The first was at the island CITO and this was the second.
Our initial appraisal was that my ladder was too short at one end.
But ZQX and I are nothing if not problem solvers so we devised a method to make that one end less short by adding a GeoJeep to it. And ensuring that straps were firmly attached to hard points to ensure our new combined tool did not come apart mid use.
Another successful and memorable mission. We are not sure what all the people at the nearby wood-chopping competitions thought. But if you act like you should be there it is amazing what people will let you do before asking questions.
Thanks ZQX for a great day.
And thanks for another fun cache Rapidlywild

Woohoo! Found with Brad of Brad&Janet. That took some engineering.
I had visited GZ earlier with TikvaNZ. Neither of us were prepared to go out on a limb, so we left if for another day.
Fast forward to today. TikvaNZ had already found it, and had headed to Braidwood for some multis. So it was up to me and Brad. Brad's GeoJeep is chock-full of equipment, including several items which I'd never thought to include on caching adventures, but which came in handy today. We made use of several bits of equipment, including the geomobile itself, and came away with the find.
TFTC, RW. And the puzzle. And thanks to Brad for the company.

Cache 6744 on 14 Nov 2020.
An early morning mission to Hall with geobuddies SpecimenX, TikvaNZ, Sui001 and Fox in Jox to grab a few caches, very easy to type now with the comfort of hindsight. Despite meeting at 0730, it took us until 1000 to get a log signed! But eventually successful with four from four caches attempted - phew!
After attempting two other caches with no early luck, we ended up at this cache. Puzzle solved easily, cache retrieved carefully by Fox with the help of a TOTT!
Thanks Rapidlywild for the cache and the fun!

Out in Hall with AngelG27, TikvaNZ and SpecimenX. Caught up with Sui, who just rocked up in time. A fun little climb. TFTC RWD
An early morning start saw me team up with AngelG27, Fox in Jox and TikvaNZ to make the attack on some of the fishing caches in Hall. What a fun morning and an exercise in ingenuity, communication and teamwork!
Puzzle was an easy solve. After making an attempt on another nearby we decided to have a break and go for this one before returning to the former to have another go. At GZ, we could have used my geounit as a TOTT here but we had another TOTT deployed and the Fox went up for the find and sign.

The puzzle was quickly solved soon after publication. I dropped by once before with ZQX. We saw the cache but were not equipped to retrieve and sign the log. This morning, after a couple of unsuccessful finds, Fox in Jox, AngelG27, SpecimenX and I visited for another attempt. With appropriate tools deployed the cache was soon signed. Fortuitously Sui_001 turned up as the log was being signed. TFTC.

Easier to solve than retrieve. A longer ladder would have been more comfortable, but we were still able to grab the cache. Tftc Rapidlywild!!!
Chooo ooo [found] - with dty73! We were out and about around here today to try for some of the local caches... Seems we failed miserably! But we did get this one. Thanks Rapidlywild.
Came here hoping that we could climb the tree as we don’t have a ladder. Quickly located the cache however as we are unable to climb the tree this will need to go our very long-ladder list to access in our next life - LOL. Always love a fun puzzle thx RapidlyWild.
We needed a tott on top of a tott on top of tott to get this one today, but despite the rain and cold, we soon had the cache in hand. A satisfying cache to have in the bag. A nice fun adventure with Minniek, Albida33, GLISS and Fitzy_1965. TFTC
With the sky heavy with rain at best and dumping it down the rest of the time the day was designated for tree fishing and ladder caches. We failed completely on the fishing front but did manage several ladder caches without any incidents in the wet. I joined Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Gliss! & Nibletricecakes for the day up to the event.
Along Mulligans Flat road we visited the new mystery caches out this way, and used a ladder for each of them, as even the climbable trees were a bit wet to do it that way. A fun and challenging set of puzzles with some very important D/T ratings. Even though this was in Hall, it was still managed with the trusty ladder and special extension system.
Thanks for the cache Rapidlywild

We gathered out in Gungahlin before today's event, with an aim to find some newer puzzles we had solved. Next stop for the day. Having missed this one last week due to ladder deficiencies, today we returned and with a bigger ladder and a 4WD Bull Bar to settle the solve. Which we quickly did - Yay ! Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Rapidlywild !! Now that was a fun find ! Favourite Point !

Headed into Canberra today with fitzy_1965 on a very wet day.
Met up with Albida33, nibletricecakes & GLISS! for a few more difficult caches which included a number of tree climbs. Did a bit of puzzle solving last night with these in mind.
We had tried this one last weekend but came up a bit short. Today armed with a longer ladder and a car bullbar, Albida did the honours.
Thanks RW.

I’m lucky I bring ladder to tree.. my body not 100% hurt my back... I take slow climb.. all good .. thank you.
Out and about with Rapidlywild when we decided to place a few caches between us. Now that most of them are out and found we thought we had better get around to logging them.
Sucker for jigsaws so of course we had to solve it as well just because.
Thanks for the jigsaw puzzle and the hide Rapidlywild

*FTF* with Flintstones!
Quickly solved this puzzle, threw my ladder into the car, and was up the Barton Highway quickly. Soon arrived and parked only metres from the cache, how handy! A great little spot for a cache! Flintstone's pulled up behind me only seconds later, and we opted to use his ladder instead as it was
I ascended the ladder after we quickly spotted it, and signed the blank log! Another fun cache!
Huh, just realised when I came to log this that my Mac can't even identify the emoji's used in this title! That's funny, as every other one has been fine, and I can see it on my iPhone just fine too! Maybe it is from a more recent update!
Thanks Rapidlywild!

Yabba Dabba Doo *FTF* with Loci612 ! .... more later
Thank you Rapidlywild for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
