Something of a needle in a haystack- fortunately this one stands out. Thread of container feels a bit stripped. TFTC!
Found while visiting the Shoalhaven for my daughters wedding this afternoon. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching
Took advantage of doing a maintenance run on behalf of T-rex to tick off more smileys in the series. Replaced camo that helps spot the cache… it is NOT swag.
Parked up next to the gate and followed the geotrail in and soon found what I was looking for.
Thanks for the cache

Thought I'd better finish the year off with a cache, before welcoming in the new year. An easy find on a quiet afternoon.

Trying to complete the December challenge cache but due to being in remote areas for a week with limited caches available I have fallen behind in me quest. The completed challenge so far
- Attended 1/1 CITO events
- collected 7/7 different cache types
To complete
- 69/71 caches logged
This being number 69.
Out for an afternoon of caching with Zombie850, what better way to spend the end of the year.
Nice easy stroll not to far from the road. Zombie850 arrived at GZ while my gsp still had me by the car. She called out found it before I even had a chance to explore. Sadly no guardian watching over this one. Log signed and returned. TFTC

Log was surprisingly dry for all the rain and dew around it today!
Overcast weather made for a quick spot if the shiny hanging cache
TFTC!

My second cache of the day.
I arrived in a break between downpours and was able to get out and stretch my legs without getting wet.
The cache took me a couple of minutes to locate but I eventually spotted the telltale signs of a dinosaur.
Thanks.

Dino back now previous logs helped compensate for coord error of about 5 m tftc 1st Jan 22
Many thanks for a bush cache, glad another cacher had saved a pic because it saved myself and WEEO. TFTC
Out and about with Lucy Junior for an evening drive in the Urban Assault Vehicle, with a few caches thrown in. A quick find, mad easier due to the direction from which we approached GZ. Thanks for the cache T-rex 11
Another smiley for my map, Ticking off the ones around home today. Easy find.

Find Number 2262 found at 11:05. Today we found 3 caches. We had 0 DNFs.
Gill had an appointment in Nowra, so Tony decided to try for some caches while he was waiting.
I've now found a few of this series and am beginning to get the hang of it. Another relatively easy find once I got to the right side of the cache.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log (sometimes we sign micro logs with G&T or GT) and replaced the container as found
Thanks T-rex 11 for the cache.

Found the cache, but there was no logsheet! We searched around on the ground but couldn't findit. No worries, we had a pocketful of spare logsheets of varying sizes and simply added a new sheet. Thanks for this enjoyable series T-Rex 11
With a change of plans, I found myself caching in Nowra for the day. I finished off the Dino Series and completed the Adventure Lab out at Culburra.
My coordinates were a bit jumpy, making this a 'needle in the haystack' kind of experience. Found after turning around to walk back to the car. TFTC

My first find in this series. Only a short walk from the car and a super quick find. Thanks
Like the new series with lots of new caches around Nowra, has been a while since that many caches came up here. Quick and easy find here.

WOOHOO ANOTHER [FTF]
Today is the 9th November 2020 and I managed to find 75 Caches for the day with my friend Loci612. It was an amazing day of caching. We had no DNFs for the day and we also got a grand total of 37 FTFs. We spent a total of almost 14 hours caching and I was dog tied at the end of it all. One of the highlights for the day were seeing a Lyrebird and almost hitting a kangaroo head on at 90kmph (just Missed Him). In total I drove 770kms but I love geocaching so much and the friends I have made along the way make it all worthwhile.
I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it. Thanks for all the caches and sorry for the generic log for this cache but with 75 finds including the 37 FTFs it is hard to write a different one for each cache.
ALL CACHES WERE SIGNED DSD. ALL CACHES WERE FOUND IN GOOD ORDER UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. THANKS FOR THE CACHE AND THE ADVENTURE.
I have included my one of a kind Geocache Poem with this log for future readers to enjoy.
Geocache Poem
By DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
***** I am currently writing more detailed logs than usual. This is because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author" Badge. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to write an average of one hundred words or more in each Found It log. As of 9th November 2020 my average was 160 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After 7600 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 160 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before this year ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****

*FTF* with DSD @ 1:56 pm
After grabbing a single FTF up in Exeter, we had the option of going for another FTF 30 minutes down the road, or 8 FTF's all the way in Nowra in the opposite direction!
It was a 1 hour and 10 minute drive to the first cache which wasn't too bad, so we decided to go for it! As we were driving down through the windy roads, I noticed more were being published here! And 8 new caches soon turned into 15! With 15 caches up for grabs the anticipation was high as we raced towards the coast!
Managed to sign a blank logbook in all 15 caches, with the first one at 1:30pm and the last one at 3:33pm we did it in 2 hours! No breaks and a quick pace throughout, the only thing slowing us down was a couple of tough finds, one I gave up on and started walking back to the car when DSD spied it last minute just as he was about to call it quits too! How lucky!
Thanks for this series T-rex 11, I would say most caches are at minimum D2, and a couple D2.5 - 3 due to their small size in such dense bush areas, but we were extremely thankful and happy about the coordinates being quite accurate within a 5m radius at every cache, so well done on the great readings despite all the tree cover! That certainly made things better and narrowed down the options!
