Couldn't find this today sadly. Checked in the spots we thought it was but no luck.
Super quick find - kids excited to find a fresh new paper - took some effort to get the container back together
Checked up on this as I was passing by, just needed to replace the paper. All good here.
This was a nice find while out on a stroll this morning. I'd seen how busy this place has been every day this week while I have been staying nearby, so decided that an early morning visit was in order. It was good to have the place to myself as it certainly wasn't an instant find. However I had the nicely placed cache in hand in a few minutes after trying a few different spots. Thanks very much for the cache.
Stunning place for a cache. Definitely want to come back here when it's not so wet. Thank you to the owner for bringing us out here!
Sorry, Lost Course, I lied, and stopped to pick this one up on the way back from Gorby's little stroll and picnic.
A quick find, but really wasn't expecting something that big. Maybe it's the fertiliser underneath there that makes these bison grow so big and strong. Cache squeaked as much as my knees when I was opening and shutting it. Good job the skateboard thingy was shut so nobody was within hearing distance.

No problem Flossieteacake I found this one on the way to the event, so didn't stop here afterwards.
I am out and about early this morning, making my way out to Gorby's event in the Karamatura Valley. Of course I am stopping for a few caches along the way. I made sure to stop for one of Gorby's along the way, after chatting to him earlier in the day. I parked up in the car park and made the short walk to access ground zero. Had a bit of a think and soon determined a likely spot and there it was. Cheers for the cache placement!

Out for a Sunday drive and stopped for lunch at a nearby Cafe say what 30 min for lunch to be made. No worries there is a cache close by
Oh my now my pen will not write on the log Photo included.
Now where did those parking spots go?. Maybe I should have walked to the cache.

Handy and accessible cache at this place. The inside was slightly damp as Mrs beconaze found out when whe stuck her finger in the cache (why? why the urge to stick your finger in it????) it was only after this discovery that the effluent spray signs were noticed. Ewwww
Kiwitrecker1 and I had been staying in this area overnight and decided to have a crack at this one. I laughed when I saw the sign on the fence, all of the curious references were now understood! Found myself staring at the cache shortly after - the nice bright colouring drew my attention to it and the log was signed shortly after. TFTC!!
In the absence of a MEGA event this Labour Weekend, Keylev had spent some time planning a Mega Mysterious Weekend for members of Team SEAC (a group of cachers from south and east Auckland who often cache together). Today's plan was to head north, but as we left home the notifications of new caches on this trail came through and we made a quick change of plans. In the group today is HeMaLuDy, Stik-a-Crane, NurseDr, Keylev, UncleSamNZ, Cragger, BrowneHornet, Liverkiwi, B4Dawn, NZTravellers, @McArgister. After the trail we carried on to clear out some more caches in the area.
This was a nice quick find. Then the big kids found the trees here irresistible, and decided to see how high they could climb.

A long weekend and the usual Team SEAC adventure had been planned by Keylev starting to day. The idea was for a convoy of cars to head up north walk a reginal park while grabbing some caches.
On my way to Keylev's place this group of FTF's were released NOT where we were going. When I arrived at Keylev's immediately muted the idea of changing plans and heading for these FTFs. Knowing Keylev had spent a lot of time organising todays adventures I didn't want to appear to bossy HOWEVER with the number of FTFs going we just had to. Trouble was people were already in cars heading to the organised walk. A quick video chat with all participants and everyone agreed FTFs were the way to go.
So we all changed direction and headed to the start for an eventual day. The logs were signed as Team SEAC including HeMaLuDy, Stik-a-Crane, NurseDr, Keylev, UncleSamNZ, Cragger, BrowneHornet, Liverkiwi, @McArgister and B4Dawn meaning a huge group FTF list for these caches!
Having finished the trail of FTF's we couldn't not chase these in the immediate area. I was a little late to GZ and UncleSam was searching wildly and I walked up and said is this what you were after Sometimes you do get lucky..... OR UncleSam needs glasses!

Out with Team SEAC for the day looking for caches. Got the message from NZTravellers for a sudden place change as his these FTFs turned up. Made our way out here to begin the trail.
Thanks for the cache

That was a big one!

Out with Team Seac for another day of adventures. We weren’t planning on coming this way, we had another full day planned elsewhere, but while enroute we got the alerts of some new caches, and we couldn’t take the opportunity to miss these….so we changed our google maps while driving and found our new destination. So we walked the Huia trail (sorry forgot the real name of it), after doing that and getting all the FTF’s we stayed in the area and cached our way home.
Sorry for the generic logs. Thank you for taking the time to place this cache.
Out with KeyLev, HeMaLuDy, Stik-a-crane, NZTravellers, LiverKiwi, NurseDr, B4Dawn. All logs signed “Team Seac” or similar to save log paper.

Labour Weekend has historically been a minimum 3 day Team SEAC all out adventure so a little while ago I started planning some fun for us. Today was all set for a walking day up north but as we were leaving the house the notifications started coming through for Karamatura....quick team lets head in an alternative direction....its a Mega Mysterious Weekend after all!! After completing the track we continued on in the area for some more (of course!!).
Well this one was over complicated by UncleSam at first but soon got there. I literally turned my back for a couple of minutes to go to the loo to come back to find the crew tree climbing...ha ha thought we had left the kids at home!
Thanks for the cache.

Was just about to set off for an adventure up North with Team SEAC when a flurry of publications flooded the in box....within minutes chatter spiked up, and a video chat started about attempting the FTF's on this group of caches, and with a few of us keen on this option the plan changed, and we headed over to our new destination, which was also 10mins closer....
Arriving at the designated parking spot, we decided to drop a car at the end to enable us to carry on caching the area after the trail completion, but as we drove we noted the increase in elevation....discussed changing our starting point, enabling the trail to be more down hill, but decided that we might loose the FTF potential......
Once back to the starting point, and all participants had arrived, we set out on the trail......
Then we headed out and around the area gathering more smilies.....

Found with Team SEAC while out on a long weekend mega adventure.. some very cool trees here. TFTC
I took a day off work mid-week and decided to venture out to Whatipu for some hiking and caching. This was a nice quick find on the way out again. TFTC!
We drove out to Cornwallis today to do the Ad Labs here, and to find a few caches. After failing to complete the Ad Labs because the tide was in, we drove on to Huia to pick up this one. Nice quick find after a wander along the foreshore. TFTC
Sometimes they leap out 2wards you and sometimes they don't want U 2 see them at all. The 2 of us were on a caching day from West Auckland 2 Whatipu and then we came here and I managed 2 see this on approach and as KR was about 2 carry on so I had 2 tell him 2 stop. Sweet. Thanks.
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are in Auckland Auckland for a break and we are exploring the region while we are based here. Today started out foggy, fined up then rained. Go figure! We had a great time despite the weather. The best bit was seeing dolphin in the Manukau Harbour!.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Coming back from whatpu and stopped by to pick up this cach.
While I was filling the log I heard a commotion.
I looked up and a group of 20 kids and parents had walked around the point and were waist deep in the creek.
They were all fine and kept going.
Getting back to the cach everything is safe and dry.

Great hide! We actually had some trouble with it at first but when we actually had a good poke around the area we found it easy. Cache in great shape. TFTC!
Had to think twice in this on the “hanging “ tad wet inside . Have dried out way2go
Glad this wasnt any closer to skatevramp as someone was on it. Nice quick find. TFTC
Came out this way today and stopped at this nice, little beach for a picnic. Some great views over the water and a cute, quick find thanks to some good hints. TFTC
Mrs McArgister was in need of a whānau drive so we bundled into the EV and set off for a drive to see the Huia Dam. Our plan was to have an ice cream from a dairy in Huia, but there wasn’t one! Dam! We took a look at the impressive dam and the spill-water, then before heading back home (via the first place that we could find that sold ice creams) Mini and I popped over to grab this. A quick find and back to the car. Thanks for the Huialookinat cache!
Some work being done on nearby carpark. Soon found another and a short walk had me with cache.

A nice little grab in the park before we passed through on our way to pick up a fishing rod acquired from a trade me auction. No way was Mr Pazza coming out here without me coming along to grab a couple of caches. Tftc
Nice stopover on the way back from Whatipu and Omanawanui track.
Quiet here today!

Time for a play in the park, and rustynz made me walk the long way, as we parked on the other side.
Thanks for the hide

Had a closer look at the skateboard ramp, and of course the playground.
rebel98 spotted the hide, perhaps because he was closer? thanks for the hide

Walked across the park the longgggg way
A few muggles on the foreshore having picnics on Waitangi Day.
With rebel98 and little blackbird1, sadly the dairy is closed, so no ice-creams yet, will need to get to the Waima dairy instead!
Thanks for the hide gorby, I like these containers, so coollllllll

A quick stop here on my way past after doing a walk in the Karamatura Valley. Nice reserve here. Tftc
Last cache of the day and as far as we're driving today too. Not sure why there was not a cache out at the Huia lookout? Gorby? Anyhow, whilst mrs basked in the air conditioning I headed across the grass and checked everywhere that the cache was not placed. Then read the page. Then found the cache. Nice one gorby.
I was keen for a trip out today, being the last day of 2020, and opted for a Waitakere ranges walk at Arataki, followed by an easy drive along some other areas of interest. Paired the normal geocaches up with an Adventure lab to yield double figures of 15 caches. Great views and nice to be out of the blazing sun for a little while. Happy New Year for tomorrow everyone!

Heading out west with Merlot58, Supernannny and Nette1234 we stopped by to collect this cache. As we approached gz, we saw a small girl playing on the skate bowl. As we got closer we saw her father, and explained to him what we were up to. We didn't need to worry, as where we found the cache was out of sight from both muggles
Today we 4 ladies had made a plan to do the Karamatura Track again....I was very keen for the High Terrain Gibbons Cut one further up!
We stopped here on the way and a quick find was made.
I remember the previous one here that was up a tree!
Thanks Gorby.

I was heading to Karamatua with Supernanny, Jag50 and Nette1234 and we stopped here for this new cache. We explained to the dad and his daughter who were on the nearby skate ramp what we were doing and after a chat made a quick find which is thankfully far enough away from the ramp to not feel creepy!
It has been long time since we did run for an FTF.. Today we were getting ready for dinner when this one got published. Decided to go for a drive as kids wanted to get out of home too. Any ways this was an easy find. Long story short, we got [FTF]
