We broke our plan for alternate caches each direction as an echidna crossed with right of way. This meant we found the cache here out of sync, but got some great wildlife shots. Tftc
Yahoo, another easy find along a very wide flat well graded trail. Most impressed with the effort of creating such a decent path in the middle of nowhere. Bizarre.Thank you BettyBoo3747 for bringing it to our attention with a while heap of geocaches.Sorry it's taken to long to write this on 29/6.
Quick find. Can hear the river nearby.Off in another adventure with Kittykatch. Enjoyed our stay at Beechworth with the bikes but heading home today via Yakendandah. Day 4 Thanks for getting me out and about BettyBoo3747
Beechworth Road Trip !I joined up with Joolay for a Xmas road trip to the Beechworth area. So much fun taking a ride along this track. Thanks for the hide BettyBoo3747

A day in Yackandandah, visiting another distillery and picking up a few caches. The gentle murmur of the water created a soothing soundtrack to our leisurely walk, as if nature itself was whispering secrets of tranquility. The lush surroundings painted a picturesque scene, with vibrant greenery adorning the creek banks, and the sweet scent of wildflowers lingering in the air. Thanks for the cache, and the walk BettyBoo3747.

In the Beechworth area to pick up a few caches for the day.
Trying out the new e-bike, and found this trail a little harder than expected.
Some hides were a little tough, but our name is now on the log.
All of them deserve a favourite point, for getting us out and about.
Many thanks for placing this cache, BettyBoo3747, for us and others to find.

Brought the bikes for another great ride on this track and called at a few caches to see how they were going. This one constantly gets wet so the container has been changed to something that should remain dry.
Day off today so decided to grab the bike and head to Yakandandah for the day. My main aim for the day was to complete the ''Yak Track'' series. I wasn't sure how successful I was going to be due to the amount of rain and flooding at the moment, however happy to say I completed the whole series some were quite tricky due to water levels.
Searched all the obvious places for this one, was just about to give up when I noticed it on the ground. Signed log and replaced in the obvious spot. Tftc!

Out and about today in search of some sunshine and caches after last night’s downpour and light show. We enjoyed a pub meal in town and decided we needed to expend some energy and set out on foot to enjoy this trail. The river was raging but the well made track kept our feet dry.
The log was a bit wet on this one.
Thanks BettyBoo, we enjoyed finding your cache.
Hi guys
Took my geodaughters out to this one and either I'm cache blind or getting old but this wasn't where I originally found this one or anywhere close.
But I could be just getting forgetful

Stayed over in Wangaratta for a few extra days to relax and I’m out for a mornings bike ride with my gracious host, the CO’s of the magnificent Yack Trail.
Had to wait out a pair of gingers before returning this one to it’s possie.

A day outing during school holidays with Georgenmoo. Extremely worried about snakes now that the seasons are changing. A beautiful park and walk on the rail trail.
Found by mrsGeorgenmoo.

Decided to get out in the beautiful sunshine with RubyTuesday3 and the geokid! Took us a little bit to find but after looking again, we found it.
damn this one was really tricky!! Really smart place to hide it but kinda awkward to grab but after some thinking around. We managed to get this cheeky bugger out of its home and sign it! TFTC
Getting there after chatting to a few ‘locals’. Quick find. No desire to sit on a couch on a nice day so headed to lower altitudes and discovered this hugely interesting and amazing Yack track. I’d imagined wet singles track and deep puddles so was in for a surprise. Those bridges are quite an expensive part of the project. TFTC and the fun.
The last finders found it on the ground out in the open. Checked today and popped it back in the correct position.
This cache was another quick find on my Last stage of the Yack Track, on a beautiful day. TFTC BB
Thanks heaps for this series of caches BettyBoo, I thought after the recent rains i would come down here and tackle these caches while the water level is up pretty high. And wasn't disappointed. Didn't find any snakes today, but loads of biting ants which weren't all that fun!.
All caches in the series were in good condition unless otherwise stated, Sorry about the generic logs.

Finally put a smily face here, as it was replaced a while ago. Nice short walk in the rain on way home. Tftc
What a fantastic hidden gem. We had a lovely wander with lots of stops to mess about in the river. Thanks for a great series.
Tricky little one, was about to give up when i saw a tiny bit of plastic sticking out that shouldnt be there. Thanks
Surprisingly, this one had gone missing some time this past week. New container now back in the correct spot.
Unfortunately we had no luck with this one. After chatting to the CO it seems it may be missing. We walked an extra 1.6kms to check the clues at GZ from the CO. We’ll be back!
Quick grab on a great ride. Could hear the water rushing past. I wonder why it's called Bend... aaah!
Out and about with the Wackyweedos crew today on the bikes to collect this ripper series of caches.
Pulled up and waited for the stragglers to catch up, but the girls had the cache in hand in no time. Knew we were in the right spot when we spotted the “BEND” sign.
Nice stop here in the shade. Cheers BB!

As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

Reggie and I decided to pack the bikes in the trailer and head to Yack to undertake the Boo series of caches along Yackandandah Creek. The weather forecast was not favourable, but we thought, what the hell, they have been wrong before, so we took the chance and it paid off big time. We did not realise how beautiful the area is. It was a pleasant surprise to see the creek flowing in all it's glory. The water clear and very inviting. There were many pleasant spots to stop and take in the senery. The baby piglets were a treat. We are so glad you put this series out BB, it is a cachers delight on a beautiful spring day. Unfortunately we did not see our mascot, the Koala. Reggie was trying his hardest to catch a glimpse of one! We did see an Echidna, so young and full of life; just like my partner, who never fails to astound me with his fitness and love of life. Yes, it was a day of days. All containers were found in good condition.
#4252 Nice day to get out and about again and this new trail of caches was on our hit list. Mr BGF on foot with the geohounds and Mrs BGF rode the treadly so she could ride back to retrieve the car when we got to the end of the trail.
Lots of bends in this lovely trail by the creek as we wondered what nice surprises are around each one on approach. Mr BGF was the one that spotted this well executed micro hide. TFTC BB.

Few people out and about along the path today and decided I would have to make the grab quick and move away to sign the log to avoid being seen, they sneak up on you fast here.
Once log signed it was a quick place back and off again.
TFTC Cheers.

Number 4 along the trail and there were 3 individual finders so far and 1 multiple finder! TFTC.
We had planned a trip with Beavar (our daughter and family) along this Track this weekend. So we set out on foot, having left a vehicle at Britton Lane and the other at Morgan Lane, so we only had to walk one way! A lovely track dotted with apple trees in blossom, lavender, running water, bulbine lilies, native grasses, plenty of cape weed and dandelions and wonderful scenery. We noticed quite a few ‘BEND’ posts along the track today, so an appropriate name for this cache. SL at 12.37pm A tricky little micro here, that brought a smile #7137 TFTC BB
A caching day planned with Wright_stuff and Done_wright. Parked a car at each end walked with Mrs Wright, whilst Done_wright and geokid 3 rode the trail. Approx 7kms from start to finish.
Loved exploring the trail, can't wait for it to be extended further
Thanks Betty Boo for enticing us to the area.

Last find for Mrs LW and the girls before Mr LW and the boy reached us. Little Miss S found this one while Mum and the others looked elsewhere. Thanks for the hide.
it was cool and the kids thought it was a mouse and i took it out and lucky it wasn't a mouse.
Found with McAdies and jelly_bean14.
We had a great time finding this geocache by bike today.
It was a beautiful area to visit.

Found. Since I didn't take notes I cant quite remember this one. Still I'm sure it was lovely. Call it a senior moment.
The 10km a day for September challenge is coming to a conclusion this week and I’ve been looking for things to entertain me rather than just walking or running the streets near home.
I saw this series pop up the other day and figured I’d get around to it eventually but wasn’t sure when. I was giving Em a child free day today after daughter number one was shipped off to her grandparents. Me and Natalie were looking for something to do and I remembered this trail. We parked at the Britton lane end of the track and walked all the way through collecting caches. Only one gave us grief but this was rectified on the return journey after a chance encounter with the CO.
All up (including a bit of a chat on the trail) the trip took us just under 3.5 hours but it didn’t feel like that in the amazing Spring weather we were out in.
This is a great trail so thank you for placing caches to entice us here BB
Another quick find.

Time to hit the deadly treadlies along the new section of the Beechworth to Yack Rail Trail.
We were betting that a train never followed this track, but it is a lovely ride all the same.
Howjen567, BettyBoo3747 and I rode the trails after a pie from Yack, and had lunch near Loo With A View (a great picnic ground)
A lovely blue skied day perfect for riding.
A little amused by all the bend signs, we assume they are for the waste water pipes from Yack.
Stopped at one bend and retrieved the cache for signing.
Thanks, Robmc.

Shared FTF and a very delayed log. Well I was planning on caching in Wodonga but the lure of a FTF drew me out to Yackandandah way and after trying one end and seeing some FTF's gone, headed to another spot. After arriving saw a familiar face and so with WINS5 headed off for some FTF hunting.
Although it was starting to get late the walk was still amazing and those FTF's were calling

After not crossing the river for over 3 months I organised a pass to cross this morning to see friends. 40 minute in a queue getting basic stifled the plan to go back and get some caches. However when this big group came up I thought would try for the [FTF]. Jumped in the car and watched as the Osborne Flat cache was signed so diverted back to town. As I drove past the middle park spot thought that would be an option. As I jumped out of the car I spotted a familiar face and so lillieb05 and I enjoyed the Walk to claim 9 FTFs along the trail. A very walk pleasant indeed.
This was a quick find - a familiar hide type but not one that BB uses too often. Log quickly signed and replaced as found.
