Hhmm ! spent a little bit of time roving around here to no avail. And in this instance the hint didn't give us any extra help either. So we moved on. Thanks anyway icybeetas. We'll put a watch on it ready for our next visit in the area.

Found it! Pretty sneaky!

So this is a bit confusing, we actually found one with a log book which hadn't been signed since 2021, and also found another one which I think is the 'real' one but it didn't have a log book.

Please tell why I can’t find

19-Aug-23
Well that’s a bit weird! As with the previous finder, I found the cache but again with no log in it. I have now placed a new log inside. Thank you.

I found the cache but it was missing the log book so I put a new sheet in the hidey hole.

A sneaky hide, cache and contents were in good condition.

I’ve may have added one of my moot pathtags for the next person to find (physical locations that will fit a pathtag only)

Happy finding

#12736 - 12:25:00 PM; Jumped through all of the hoops and made it to Tasmania for a couple of weeks of R&R with family, but sadly the holiday has come to an end and we are now headed back towards Devonport to catch the ferry back across the Strait to the big island to the north. The CO advised that the cache was indeed missing after my recent DNF, so stopped off today on the way past to turn the blue face into a smiley! TFTC icybeetas Smile

Stopped for this one as we headed back to base from Launceston. Had a good look around, but looks like there may have been a recent tidy up in the area and the cache may have gone as a result! Thanks anyway icybeetas Sad

Thanks for the cache icybeetas.
RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I decided to take advantage of the Hobart Show Day public holiday and headed north for a couple of days.
We made an attempt to search for this cache a couple of days ago - as we headed north, and when the weather was much better! - but we were thwarted by a muggle sitting on a nearby koppers log. He wasn't deterred when we parked nearby and remained in situ. So we decided to have a look on our return trip - which was today - when it was pouring with rain Sad Even the GeoGSP was keen to stay in the car, as RLD4963 and I grabbed our coats hoping for a quick find - well it was sort of quick, maybe two or three minutes - but then when we looked from the right angle, there it was. We quickly signed the log and returned it to it's hidey hole.
That was the end of our caching for the weekend - the rain did not let up all the way home.
good old Tassie spring weather!

23-Oct-21
out and about to get smileys for the GC game "reach the Peak". and this was on the list. a cool and light rainy day that stayed all week and until Sunday in both the north and the south. TFTC TNLN log dry. the second attempt with this one and there was no one sitting on the treated pine fence this time but it was raining.

Had a look for this one back in April but it was MIA. After receiving notice from the CO's that it had been replaced Mrs Beetle and grandson were passing Tuesday on their way to Derby to do some bike riding and stopped for another look. The cache was quickly located but the log sheet was sodden and we were unable to write on it. There was a drier piece of paper in the bottom of the container and we did manage to sign that.
Good to finally cross this one off the unfound list. Thanks icybeetas.

Up North for the weekend collecting caches along the way. A bit cooler and rainy compared to the glorious weather yesterday.

It is currently raining very heavily but we are determined to soldier on and collect more caches. After a previous dnf blue frown we are very happy to convert this to a yellow smiley. We think we were deterred last time by the maintenance works even though it turns out they did not impact the cache. This time we went straight to it. The log book is seriously wet and slimy so we had a spare blank page which we logged and left behind . CO might want to place new log at some stage. TFTC

Now that the road workers have finished their work I have been able to determine that this cache is still in its original hide and is ready to be found.

With recent footpath works this cache is no longer in situ as the GZ has been destroyed. I will replace when a new hiding place is located.

Today we are geocaching in the North, covering the general triangle between Scottsdale, Lilydale and Launceston and collecting as many caches along the way as practical.

This was going to be our last one today but alas we searched but to no avail.

10-Apr-21
Quite a lot of activity happening here at the moment with roadworks. We were still able to access the area at GZ but unfortunately we couldn't find your cache. Maybe next time. Thanks.

You could say weird and you could say a CITO here would not go astray! Returning from exploring Hollybank which was quite pleasant! TFTC

Hello icybeetas thank you for the cache

No problems finding this one during a weekend away with EeePees.
The last one for the day.

Sorry for the late log, trying to cache up a bit.

Quick park and grab. Break in the rain clouds called for some exploring and stretching the legs. Thanks

13-Mar-21
Hi icybeetas, thanks for the cache.

An excellent weekend's caching away with AlbyDangles, and at the risk of offending others, it doesn't get much better than that; although sometimes enhanced by others.
The primary goal being to conquer Mount Barrow, but the weather beat us again today, that's twice now that we've been blown off that mountain!

So after chasing a few other caches out that way and then back thru Prossers Road (I recall it was Prossers Forest Road once?) we're back in Rocherlea - where I went to primary school, and caught the bus from this stop to get home. Where's the damned school! Sad when childhood memories disappear from the landscape; but that's progress I guess - although I can't see any progress here.

Thanks for bringing me back here; so many memories.

Cheers, EPs.

I must admit that I have driven past this lonely loo many times, but have never noticed it before, a very interesting piece of infrastructure. TFTC icybeetas.

Today we were heading to Swansea for a community event tomorrow. However we left early so that we had time to detour into Launceston to look for some recently published caches. Despite accurate coordinates and the hint, it took a few minutes of hunting and looking from the right angle before the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks icybeetas for this cache.

Even though the road was fairly busy no one was interested in me. A quick find TFTC

A trip to Launceston and Devonport on Thursday and Friday with a a night in Launceston. Thursday was work and Friday was a day off, so I took advantage of the new caches in Devonport and Railton for a run on my way to my target of 500 finds for the year. After a very successful day, I came home with 58 cache finds and 2 and nature lab stages.... so 60 which was a good day considering I was home by 7pm. Thursday weather wasn’t very good, so little was down after work, but Friday was a perfect day for caching. Not to hot not raining.
Really enjoyed a walk along the Tasmanian trail. And all was good until on the back roads to Railton, where one stop I was surprised by a tiger snake, which luckily didn’t seem interest3d in me. To be honest it was about 10 metres away, but going Parallel to my walking path.... I don’t like snakes.

Anyway. Managed to finish The Tasmanian trail whole series which deserves the huge favourite point.

Couldn’t work out where the cache waS until I looked from another direction

Hi icybeetas, thank you for this little hide at the Lonely Loo. Heading back to Hobart and had to pop into Mowbray so decided I would call by here for a cache. Mmm...don't put your fingers up the pipe it is soft and webby. Took me a little while to sus out the hiding spot, I liked it plus although plenty of cars it didn't feel mugglish at all.
Thanks for your contribution to my hide and seek pleasure.

Was rather lonely this evening, not much traffic around.
I drive part here several times a week and don’t remember seeing this loo before, I suppose it does blend in with the trees.
