We are home.. it is close to freezing, but nice and sunny. Thanks for the fun in the hot sun, next time maybe it will be back.

I just can't get to it to fix. Constantly muggled. I don't drive and hubby no help at all.

Couldn’t find

I had been here quite a while ago looking for the cache, but never found it, partially because there were muggles nearby and partially because I couldn’t see it.

Today on the way to another cache, I stopped here. It was a quieter day at GZ, although it was lovely in the shade. I had looked at the attributes on the way to the cache but reading previous logs and the CO’s note, I realised that I needed to climb the tree. That’s okay because I’d already done a couple of high tree climbs today, and I’m a bit of a monkey, so it was actually my 3rd Cotton Tree climb for the day.

A nice relatively easy climb and I found the cache, or a part of it at least. Unfortunately the tether and lid are still there, but the bottom of the cache is gone.

Photo taken and message sent to the CO, who has kindly given her permission for me to log as a find.

Could see some fishing wire with nothing attached. Not sure if that was it.

Seems to have been taken, found attachment but geocache was missing

Tree was to wet to propaly climb but found uper branches. tftc

It is our aunts birthday. We had the Fish and chips down the road. Then we decided to come and find a geo. We are the first ones to write on the new log!

Replaced with a new cache. High climb.

Replaced with the COs permission now look up for something blue.

Plenty of people out this morning which isn’t surprising as it’s a beautiful morning.

No luck find the cache

Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Bennyboppers and Lisylou). No luck for us.

Out with lisylou and mnance101 for the weekend our last day out some maintenance of these caches might be needed!!

DNF?

No luck here today. Climbed the structure at GZ but could not see anything at a T 1.5 level. Too old to go higher.

No cache or remnants thereof found today ️

We were out with a group of Geocaching buddies for a mid week get together and have a lovely walk through this area.
Our initial search here revealed nothing, however a quick call to the CO, confirmed that we just needed to be searching a little higher, since it had been muggled a few times.
On our return to the spot, we managed to locate it fairly quickly and have added our names to the log sheet.
The top was missing from the container, however we have managed to squeeze a log sheet back in.
Thanks Sunshine58 for placing this one. It is very interesting to read about the history of this area and particularly some of the indigenous history here.

Enjoying a lovely day out caching with our team called GGEDS (georode, grannysmith1947, E_Smiley, domsky and Snickersallan)
It was a great time had by all with lots of good hides found and with many laughs along the way.
Climbed the tree and found what was left of the cache, CO was then informed of the missing part. Maybe all those birds that come here for a big nosh up took it!

Had a good search and couldn't find it. Will come back again if someone finds it!

So many wrong trees to bark up Well only really a few that were in range, but I did not start at the tight one.

New cache hidden and all ready to go.

Kids search every tree, pole and rock! DNF it’s a busy spot today so we were trying to remain un noticed…

Muggles having a picnic so did not attempt

Have tried to look for this one a few times since it was hidden but there always seems to be a huge family of picknickers right where I want to search. I had searched some of the outer trees previously but it seems the big one is the more obvious location.
Stopped by in the middle of a big maintenance run on my caches in the area.
Finally the area was free, so I zoomed in. The Cottonwood fork revealed its prize quickly - a camouflaged pill bottle. It was a bit hard to get the log out, but managed to finally and sign under only 2 other signatures on the log. Must be a relatively new log.

Our first find ! TYFTC we left a surprise

As Sarah's Grave is a part of history, today we scattered my parents ashes in the area. Cache has been replaced and is ready to go again.

Just taking a chance in case the CO had a look already. Only Smiley I found was a rock.

Went to do maintenance, but way too many muggles on holidays. Will replace when school holidays are over.

Didn’t find it. Is it still there?

Came by here this afternoon, and the hidey hole is empty. I think this one is gonski.

Good to be back. A long days week of work is over and a quick stop to re find this one. Thank you for replacing.

Wandered up to this one and soon had cache in hand. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Sunshine58. All good with this cache.

This cache is back up and running again. I forgot to tell you all.

This cache is missing. Went to replace yesterday but a mentally challenged person decided to challenge me and what I was doing. So I will return feb 1st to replace.

Got lost among trees

10:14:00 AM. Had to get a cache before years end. As we used to have 1 hidden here thought we would revisit the area. Fairly quiet between showers and a quick find. Log signed and cache replaced. Thanks for the cache sunshine58

Compass took me 2 right abour. Gr8 camo, 4 a hi muggle area, in plain sight yet only to those who knowT4TC & the local knowledge

This is such a peaceful spot.
Deserves a favourite simply for location alone, and then there's the cache.. blends in well, ironically.

Well done sunshine58 for highlighting  some of  Sunshine Coasts history.

In approximately 1918 this area was known as Sarahs Grave and later possibly Phillips Point; named after Frederick (Billy) Phillips who built the first house here.

What great changes have occurred in the last 100 years!

A short drive from the last cache to an area we know quite well - we often bring our daughter here for a picnic lunch as she works just round the corner. Great to see so many people enjoying themselves on the water. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC sunshine58
