Out today as it is Master 9 birthday and while there was new lego building calling the sun was shining so we though we would move our bodies out at Muriwai for a couple of hours. Mr KBclan hopped out to grab this one on our way home so we did not end on our last DNF! He looked for a while as we watched him from the car right before the road works and then suddenly he dissapeared - he finally put his hand in the right place! The cosmic quest is finishing tonight - and the community have done it - we look forward to the final soiuviner tonight. Our wee clan are so pleased with our efforts. Supernanny you have done so well! You pulled well ahead of us this week and the kids made me check on you every morning! (they were in a secret race with you - ha ha). We were to busy with birthday celebrations yesterday to give you a run for your final points though. We have had so much fun doing this quest and following you and Gorby as you cached during it!TFTC
Checked on this one today....removed wet paper and replaced with dry....All good!

#11,961. I have been back in Auckland for a few days on leave. I have a rental car to drop back at the airport later today. But that is still some hours away and so had time to come looking for a few caches. Decided to start in Waimauku. Its quite a warm summers day and needed a lot of stops for drinks. Managed to find a safe place to park. Wandered over to the clock and reached in and found the cache immediately. Only later did I see there were more details in the description. Signed and put the container back underneath. Thanks supernannny for hiding it here. I am learning more about Waimauku cache by cache!
On our way home from Woodhill Mountain Bike Park and had to grab a cache. This one didn’t take much ‘time’ .
Another solo caching trip for me, this time looking for the remaining unfound caches out west of us.
I recall finding the previous cache here. It was nice to have the excuse to return, and the cache was found exactly as described. Thanks.

Me and my dog went for a walk and saw that there was a chache here and decided to find it, we found it in 15 minutes.
Thanks supernanny
Thanks supernanny
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are in Auckland Auckland for a break and we are exploring the region while we are based here. Today we went to Muriwai and explored some of the area. The weather was lspottining rain most of the day, sometimes heavier, and sometimes lighter. Still a great day out though.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Found lying out on the ground. Tucked it away again. Stopped here on the way home from the beach. Tftc
In the area for cache maintenance, quick drive by and sign, nice piece of artwork here.

This is on my regular route out to Muriwai, but has always been too busy - traffic wise- to tackle. So Pazza & I took advantage of a drizzly grey Sunday morning, to nab it while there were fewer folk out and about. Thanx ftc.
It wasn't just time for another cache, it was well and truly overdue that I went out for a cache with Bertie.... and a nice stress free one at that, thanks Supernanny.
After a trip to see the Gannet colony, I managed to talk my family into allowing me to grab a few caches in this area. I don't think they'll let me do that again...
This was the last cache of the day and the last straw for me. Kids had enough of the heat and wife was giving me the evils. Hayfever didn't help anyone of us so this truly is the last one.
Luckily this was a quick find. Lots of ants, but just signed it and ended the day. TFTC.

This was the very last cache for me and tramyard on our trip to South Head and back. A good place for a cache, in excellent condition, and a nice place to stop on the drive home. All good here. TFTC supernannny
Last cache of the day! I remember this location and previous hide here. But before we picked up the hide on our way from South Head - with lumin298 - we ordered pizza online to collect in Kumeu Straightforward find at GZ!
Thanks for keeping this spot active. Clock tower was not working as intended but who cares

The elder Future Finder and I headed out for some afternoon geocaching today. A nice overcast day to be out and about. We had ended up out West and decided to keep caching out this way. I parked up in the carpark and made the short walk to GZ and got to searching. Cache was quickly found in a logical spot. I recall finding a previous hide at this location. Cheers for the cache placement!
Second one today according to the cach log.
Driven past for years.
Never have stopped if it wasn't for geocaching
Thanks for placing the cach.

Stopped for lunch and afterwards checked to see if a geocache was nearby. My daughter quickly had it in hand after I read the hint. TFTC
I came up Huapai way to pick up a FTF by Jard, then I was close to Muriwai and thought I haven't been there for quite some time. Got myself a big feed at the Muriwai shop, stayed to watch the waves in the warm sun, then made my way home via this cache! I have done the previous incarnation that was here. A cool location still. Thanks supernanny for the hide.
I remember the original cache here and this area seems to have improved since then. Lots of things under there but managed to put my hand on the cache without too much trouble. TFTC
Our first cache since 2015! Getting back into it and what a great one to start with ️ And cache's first find in 2021, Happy New Year
After heading for a drive through the Riverhead forest chasing the new piggy replacements, I headed down through Kumeu to pick up some more caches, ending up here at Waimauku. I also remember visiting this spot before, but nice to pick up another cool smiley here, cheers
It was time to come back to this area for some geocaching, I think this might be my 3rd visit to this particular spot! A nice quick find as there really is only one place it could be
I was already parking in a convenient spot, so I just walked the short distance to GZ and made a quick find. TFTC.
There's always Time for another cache and this was the last for today on a modest finds day. Parked up nearby and headed to GZ and soon had the cache in hand, along with the resident TB which was grabbed. T F T C supernanny.
Another day to fill, another day out placing a couple of potential puzzles, and making a few finds when passing. We headed to Muriwai for a walk along the beach, then up to see/smell the gannets. A good day to be out amongst it.

In the area dropping of product for work. Thanks Supernannny for replacing this one.
Heading home from a days caching in South head, we had TIME for one more cache before it was icecream time. Quick find here and we were surprised to see that we were not the first visitors to this cache today. Added a TB to carry on its travels.
I was having a wee rest (my grandies were tiring me out) when the phone dinged with multiple new publications. This one was close so challenge accepted. Got to the GZ in quick time and the cache was quickly in hand revealing ... a blank log!! WooHoo!! I remember the nano that was here a while ago. TFTC supernannny and for {FTF} #65
