Logs
Quick find here. Nice little park. Good for lunch when working in the area. Signed the log and returned to where found. Thanks Sunshine58. All good with this cache
It was only about 200m away from the parked cachemobile but night had fallen so should we attempt it. Of course and within a few seconds of arriving at the likely host it was a QEF. Tftc.
I needed this for a 366/365 challenge, GC7R80A,so pleased it was there for me to get a . The man mentioned was sitting at the table and a delight to talk to.
I like this little park and corner. We have a lot history. The surf shop just over there used to be a video store for a long time, amusingly competing with another video store on the opposite corner over the road. Service station nearby used to do a cheap mean slurpee. There's an old guy that hangs around gz loving life. He knows about the cache. Thanks Sunshine58 for choosing to hide a cache in this iconic location! Finally logging, signed in September.
A week away in Sunny Qld with my fav person Bogonghazy. Week away visiting my gorgeous daughter and partner. Hoping to get a whole lot more while we are here in sunny Qld. Thanks sunshine58 for placing the geocache
Up for a week from Wintery Victoria with LittleBoss2 to visit her daughter. So, while they're at work, LB2 and I had an easy choice to fill in our day. This was a super quick find. Thanks again Sunshine58, great history too
Walked down from the accommodation after presenting at council. Coords could not be more perfect on this one. Thanks.
Ive lived on the coast for 15 years and never knew about Aerodrome road! Who would have figured there was a reason for the name haha. Quickly had the cache in hand, is a micro not small :p
These pesky little containers normally give me a lot more trouble but got lucky with this one and put my hand straight on it first go. Nice . And nice little diversion on our way to the airport after a few days at the Aussie surf life saving titles and getting a bit of local caching in. TFTC!
We were asked to house sit at the Sunny Coast for the Australia Day weekend so that a German exchange student could stay home to meet other international students. Considering a long time ago I signed a cache with the challenge of 555 sunny coast caches and I have only 83....I thought this would be an opportunity to get a few more towards my goal. With two puppies and two children and extreme humidity and then rain, I didn't get as many as I would have liked to, but there are a few more in my list now. Teeny tiny but found.
Waiting for dinner I looked to see if any caches were nearby and struck gold. One so close. A methodical search soon had the cache in hand. Thanks sunshine58
Went back and tried again after seeing it had been found recently. Found it straight away this time.
Well this is my first cache and Im not sure where to look if its in the bench or in the tree Im not sure I might update if I can if I find it
Thank you for a fun first cache it took me a while to find because I was confused where to look of it was at the tree or not but I found it and Im so happy!
Heard the log book was full, so I was in the area today. Cache replaced and ready for your signatures.
thanks I think that might be the last one. Time to head to the airport. It is close to freezing at home, but nice and sunny. Thanks for the fun in the hot sun.
After attending the CITO on Bribie, Chamad, Alyce and I were recruited to help some cacher friends to retrieve a couple caches. We didnt anticipate grabbing this cache but were passing through so we might as well grab it.We parked just off the main road and wandered over towards GZ and after a brief search the cache was in hand and our names were on the log. Thanks for bringing us here.#4170 - TFTC
With the late start for a sunshine coast CITO, it meant I was able to do my morning chores and then head up from the gold coast to the event. I meet up with Nathan and Alyce and we headed up to Caloundra for a walk across to Bribie for the clean up. It was a nice chance to meet up with a few others before we all disbursed around the island collecting rubbish. We all came back at a set time and the variety of rubbish collected was amazing. It was a nice feeling to see the amount and range of rubbish that will now not go into the environment. From there I went off with Nathan and Alyce to grab a few extra caches and help with a couple that required our help. Found this one as we were passing onto our next target cache for the day. Log signed and all replaced as found. Thanks for the fun here.
Joining mezza74 for her morning walk on our last morning up on the Sunshine Coast suggested an alternate loop so we could grab this one. Cache quickly to hand.TFTC
Found at 2:58 PM GAFF1.Enjoying reading about how this area used to be and how it has changed. Cache found after sitting down and just feeling around as there were muggles at the other table. Thanks to sunshine58
Nice little park in busy area, the perfect place to find a cache on International Geocaching Day 2023 - TFTC
In the area for a few days so ducked out between the rain showers for a little caching.
TFTC!

Second try getting this one because of muggles eating at the table. TFTC nice quick find in the end
Easy find, just had to wait for a tradie to finish his morning tea before we swooped. Tftc
Forgot a pen but was a bit to easy since there wasn’t much magnetic things for it to be in
We headed up the cost yesterday after to stay with some friends in Alex headlands.
After a lovely dinner last night and breaky at the surf club the girls headed off for a walk some went surfing and I snuck out for a quick cache.
Upon arriving at the cache it was quiet quickly located and my name was etched on the log before returning it to its safe hides hole.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

Wow might want to make a new class of nano caches that was only just bigger than one I’ve found before. Enjoying the beautiful sunshine. Tftc
Quick find. Easter Friday so there’s a few people around. Just started to rain again hopefully that will keep people away so I can find some more caches without looking so conspicuous lol tftc
First time been out for a long time so happy to get to this one so quickly. Coords spot on tftc
Fairly straightforward hide and find - quite a bit of foot traffic around today, so stealth was definitely the order of the day!
After looking in the wrong spot and decided to take a seat I saw the little thing. Log was full it took me longer to replace the log the one that did find it.
Found myself killing time in Maroochydo before the Plaza kicked in...
Yep...Ive seen all the photos of planes landing and parking near the beach.
The photos I liked is over at Surf Air Hotel Marcoola is the planes landing and parking right beside the pub for lunch!
Cheers sunshine

This was our first geocache so we aren't confident we succeeded but we think we did?
A lovely afternoon for a walk. Nice easy find, fortunately no muggles around. thanks for the cache
First Australian cache! Landed in Brisbane from Canada this morning, got picked up by old friends, and came to their place in Maroocydore. Had chance to introduce Geocaching to the friends and went out and found this one a few hundred meters from where we are staying.
Our formerly muggle friend made the find!
Hope to do lots of caches while here for the next month (Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide).
TFTC, and a favourite point for our Australian first!

Had to return here as the place was occupied by a muggle at first. Took me longer than expected. Tftc
Paused here with my geokids Tobias and Madison for a drink break but had to wait a while for the table to become vacant!
I was in the location when misssusan79 and kids arrived (yep - that was me sitting at the GZ). They looked like they were on a mission, so I thought I’d give them space and come back later in the afternoon. TFTC.
sunshine58 I found your cache Aero=Plains on 21/6/2022, 3:50 pm. This is my find 3568 and find # 11 today. Sneaky little bugger. Took some searching to locate. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Quick find on my way to The plaza. Left my muggle hubby at the apartment. We are in the area as we had a family get together last night at the Surf club so we stayed up for an extra night to have a mini break. And I may have broken my husband as he only lasted 2 hrs walking this morning then needed a break.
