Found on a rather damp day. Another find for the Wheel of Challenges.
Thanks for the Traditional Cache South-West

The fire danger was rated moderate today, like it should be in mid April. Long may it stay so. This was a quick find, and still a few spots on the log. Thanks South-West for putting this here.
Cache found and log signed with dalerious .
This little trad was chosen to tick off another LGA .
I was left to fuel up the car whilst my partner went to sign the log.
Thank you South-West for providing this cache.
The long weekend in Victoria had us planning a trip to Mount Kosciuszko, but there was no available accommodation in Jindabyne, so that plan was thwarted. Our South Australia and Western Victoria trip was then brought forward very quickly, and a plan was hatched that had a complete and varied list of things we were looking to achieve. It was tentative, as the list kept growing exponentially as it tends to do with us .
The map that we created with the caches we were hunting was broad, and a lot of miles were travelled to find them, but we are definitely not complaining.
The country we drove through was spectacular .
We left Tatura early Friday morning, not sure how much we could achieve before heading to Millicent to our booked accommodation, and then onto Adelaide after that.
We still can't believe that we found almost every cache on that extensive list. We even got to attend a CITO in Adelaide. How cool was that.
We had an awesome 4 days away enjoying this beautiful country of ours.

Recess on a school day made this simple find a lot harder than it should have been.
It can be tricky being stealthy here at this time of day.
Home again, Home again Jiggity Jig.
Now comes the big job of logging all our accomplishments.
Our extra long weekend adventure revolved around catnap777 and I making it to a CITO in Adelaide, caching our way there and back through as many counties new to us as possible. We also targeted challenge caches and anything that would help us qualify for them.
Leaving Tatura early Friday morning, we followed the coast up from Warnambool to stay in Millicent that night, Adelaide on Saturday, and back through the guts to Edenhope Sunday night to be back home for rostered work 3:00pm on Monday.
All up we picked up over 100 very targeted caches including this trad, our very first cache signed in Warnambool County. [^]
TFTC South-West [^] In light rain, there was little chance any grass fires here this day.
Cache found in good condition.

Touring around the town of Warrnambool today in the wet and windy weather, not stopping us from grabbing some caches. Spotted from the car so a quick find was made. Tried to me a discrete as I could with school hour traffic driving past. Signed log and left as found. Insert nano rant here.
Find #5206 on 2 Feb 2023.

Sometimes I surprise myself and find caches quickly.
This wasn’t one of those times.
Poked and prodded everything at the GZ except the blatantly obvious (but nano) container. Then scrawled a signature onto the full log and skulked off tftc

25 December 2022 10:24 am, Parked close enough to spot it from the 4x4. Thanks for maintaining the cache. Merry XMas.
Found at 11:55 AM GAFF2
Well I was certainly not expecting that sort of a container for this sort of a location. Found it by literally stepping back and taking in the bigger picture!
Thanks South-West.

Initially distracted by the cable tie, I looked across and spotted the hide!

Popped into town with Trailstevo to do Port Fairy Parkrun in the morning. Stayed at our usual, The Cally, and went for a wander to develop a walk and encourage an appetite ready for the evening Pizzas. 13km walked in all, got a bit wet, was a bit windy but we did It. Thanks to all the CO,s for the hides. Looking forward to coming back to do another sweep!
A day of driving from Apollo Bay to Robe. It rained a lot of the day which reduced caching.
This was the one for Warrnambool. A nice quick find despite the passing traffic.

Many thanks for the cache. Not a cache for small children as very close to the highway and also would be unable to reach the cache. Certainly need. a good upward reach if in a wheelchair.
Quick cache at the end of a day caching with Serra4. Just a bit dangerous for kids with the amount of traffic around. TFTC!!
Well I was now supposed to be on my 6 week adventure up to Outback Queensland but with my knee failing me I just had to turn back around and head home.
So after 3 weeks of rest at home I was getting cabin fever so for the last week I just had to get out so Western Victoria beckoned so I could grab a few LGA’s and UBD Country VIC maps which would not involve a lot of walking.
So after attending the International Geocaching event in Lara yesterday I got up early this morning and off I went.
With all of the recent heavy rain everything is just soaked and you have to be careful not to leave the road or tracks.
Well after reaching Portland and surrounds today on my whirl wind tour to fill in a 3 LGA’s and 2 UBD maps it is time to head back east.
Well Warrnambool ticks of another LGA and map but not time to rest need to keep travelling East.
Thanks South-West TFTC.

My friends and i where out riding our bike and we were close so we thought that we find it and we did. It was fun.
Can see where the bison which went missing was attached.
Managed to find the nano very easily….We found a “makeshift log”, so we have added a real nano scroll and transcribed the names across from the small scruffy piece of paper we found as insufficient space for both.
TFTC we hope it has a longer life than it’s predecessor.

First geochach found, it was awesome finding it and me and my friends can't wait to find more
A quick drive-by. Lots of caches on this area are on the fire signs. 3rd one today.
On a road trip from Perth to Canberra with a few side trips for LGAs. TFTC

Replaced missing cache with a spare nano we had in our caching kit. Can see where the bison had been hanging.
A busy day's caching around Warrnambool with The Morris.
Not sure how we ended up with so many to do, but we got most that we didn't need special equipment, or weren't locked out of.
We had lunch just across the road, and walked to GZ.
Unfortunately all we found was a cable tie and a bison ring - no cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

It was behind a sign and it was hanging it just got a bunch of names in it
Not too many muggles around at this time, so managed to grab and sign without too much trouble

Best laid plans: we stayed in Geelong for 2 nights then after picking up a former colleague and taking her to Torquay for an Indian tea at the beach[:X][^] Afterwards we walked the beach until it was dark and both her dog, Miss Mavis, and Rex had fun[:X][^]
I dropped my friend back home and then had to decide: sleep[|)][|)] or drive to Warrnambool in the hope of getting a FTF or 3
That's how we ended up in Warrnambool on Christmas morning and getting a FTF about 3am, 3.30am and 4am We did not see Santa at all in our travels though
We stayed in Warrnambool that night[^][|)][:X] and then stopped in Daylesford the next night[|)][^][|)] before finally getting home Monday evening[|)][^]
Many hours were spent on different beaches as they are Rex' happy place[:X][^][:X]
Over the trip, there were 5 DNFs, 1 Festivus event attended and 40 caches found
We even managed 1 complete adv lab at Daylesford, too[^]
A very quick find here Thanks for reminding everyone to stay safe and think about their position during fires[^][^]

Very easy find. Walked over from the school field where my son was practicing cricket.
Had no pen, this was an impulsive cache hunt.
The cache is still dangling in the wind…

Took a while but we gotem boys! Fire danger was low to moderate, what a cracking day
OzHockeyChick and RoamingHowie had planned this trip whilst in lock down. GT37 and I were fortunate to be able to join them. Today is the second day of our trip. Today was a lovely day and no need for any restrictions. Thanks for the cache.
This is day two of the trip that RoamingHowie and OzHockeyChick spent ages putting together during Covid lockdowns. Papi4506 and I are very pleased to be able to join their expedition. Great to visit here on such a lovely day. Pleased that we were here on a beautiful day. Thank you for placing this cache.
A long awaited road trip, originally planned for the Millicent Mega weekend. However due to possible SA border issues, we’re only doing the Vic sections. Joined by Papi4506 & Geoturtle37, RoamingHowie and I are finally on the road to adventure!
DAY 2: Peterborough & Warrnambool.

Day #2 of the adventure in Western Victoria. We are now on the 9th iteration of this trip after adding a diversion to Peterborough to meet a UBD challenge. Previous iterations including Millicent, no Millicent, Millicent and no Millicent again thanks to the archaic border rules. Today we are exploring Peterborough and Warrnambool before arriving in Portland for a few days.
A quick find, a little less camoed than thought.
Thanks South-West for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Finally found it 3rd time! Had been barking up trees and going quite mad brilliant cache and cleverly hidden!
Had a few days away in Warrnambool, catching up with family. Always good to grab the odd cache while visiting or out for a walk.
A quick find at GZ.
