We're at Jabour Park Grafton for a day or so, and found your cache today 9 September 2023 1:07 pm , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC IndigoBlue1
Much smaller than expected but all good if going for feeling not seeing. Beautiful views and so close to town. Tftc
Visiting friends around the corner so a good opportunity to grab a cache.

Quite a drop off here down to the boat ramp and back, though the tamp itself is looking a bit the worse for wear.
We ended up parking in the shade near GZ and took a couple of laps before making the find. Dad had to jump put as the kids were not capable of finding this particular hiding spot.
Thanks for the cache!

Picked this one of the two we would do this arvo while I can’t walk much. We came into town for gas as when we move on from our camping in Wooli we’ll be camping with no electricity so will need gas to run the fridge. We drove down close to the water and admired the river for several minutes. As we returned up the slope we saw the flood level indicator and some sand bags on the front retaining walls of several of the nearby houses. There’s been so much flooding in so many different places over the last couple of years and it’s still happening. This week in western NSW.
Putting our minds back in cache mode we put the GPS on compass mode and it suggested where we should look. Geohubby had already checked there and not seeing it he moved to another location. But I followed where the compass was pointing so he returned to see where I was looking and found it finally so we gladly signed the log before replacing the cache where we’d found it.
Thanks IndigoBlue1 for placing the caches we found over the last couple of weeks. Hopefully next time I won’t have a painful foot and we had hit bigger targets.
Cheers and Happy New Year!

Had looked for the original before, but after a flood and it may have gone, but today we were straight on to this one on our way to an event.TFTC
I agree this placement should be safe from floods. The fig trees are a magnificent size, I wonder how old they are. Tftc

After devastating floods areas have been forever altered and are quite fragile, also at risk of more major floods. I created a new cache at this site above the levee bank and hope this one is much safer.

A new cache has been placed at this lovely spot, with gorgeous fig trees and the mighty Clarence river.
Hi Matt,
This area has had 3 floods over it and the fence, the land and the cache are all lost. Unfortunately its been raining for over 6 months and its too risky to keep replacing caches while it is still raining.

This one is gone, along with the fence and tree, lost in the massive floods and the land is much altered.
This will need another cache and a new spot. Will wait till the flood clean up has finished
Out caching with IndigoBlue and Ihategeocaches . We had a fantastic time. Thanks so much IndigoBlue.
I arrived just before some fishermen and while they had their back turned a made a quick find and returned cache as found.

Nice quick find after muggles left! Very smart idea with the camouflage!! It’s a bit hard to get out and in! I had a good bike ride there! Nice view, I swear I looked there though!! Log is sign (with the right date, surprise I remember the date) was riding out as a few muggles came down for a good fish! TFTC!!

The flood in March 2021 took out the fence and part of the bank here so cache has been relocated.

DNF I think it was washed away in the floods I didn’t want to go up the muddy hill, hope the catchy made it!
Found at 10:22 AM GAFF1.
The humidity is starting to really pile on us here! Hope we can last hte days caching in this weahter!
What is going on around here - do the properties on either side have back yards that go right down to the river! they are huge!
Thanks IndigoBlue1.

McLean Day to Grafton
We have now settled into the Greyhound Racing Club at Grafton for a few days.
The afternoon we found a few caches in the town area before following the river caching along the way. This was a very pleasant scenic drive
This was a perfect location for a picnic, a number of people here & a few out in the water with canoes.
FP given for location
Thankyou IndigoBlue1 for placing this cache.

In Grafton for several days of caching and the weather is much better than last visit. Signed with our initials. Thanks to the COs for the many places you have hidden your caches and the interesting places you have brought us to.
Arrived in Grafton for a few days caching and with time to spare decided to try and find the "town" caches before checking into our accommodation.
Our last day in Grafton this time around, and just a quiet afternoon with the grand daughter finding the hidden treasure. Great afternoon had by all.

We had to wait for a fisherman to finish getting his boat out of the water before we could have a proper search. We soon had this one in hand. TFTC
