We have been looking to do this cache for two years and had given up when quite by accident we came upon this memorial at Golden Acre Park, in Yorkshire, England. The owners have had a stone carved to take a dog bowl and then placed a plaque upon it. Cheers MaxKim.
This statue of the Huntress Diana and her dog is in the Holbrook-Palmer Park in Atherton, California. Fitting because the park is tailored to be used for community events including weddings, picnics, and birthday parties, but more importantly the grounds are well-known for a great place to walk the dogs.

Located this at Lasting Legacy Park in Gillette Wyoming. I think the photos say it all when it comes to a man and or boy and his dog.
Could not believe our luck today. As we were caching in downtown philadelphia when we pulled over to organize our cache papers. We parked in the back of Lord and Taylors Depatment Store. Original known as Wanamaker's. The famous store. In the back entrance of the store is this statue of a dog and his owner. The owner (a boy) was holding a lord and taylor sign. Original the boy was holding a newspaper. In the late 1800's and early 1900's when newspapers were sold on the street by NEWSIES ( amovie was made about them) many of the sellers had dogs to protect them from rival sellers. This statue was erected so that their story would not be forgotten. A unique statue of a boy and his loyal dog.
Located at Red Baron’s Antiques on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, Georgia. This sculpture is quite large; of several children playing in a tree. The little girl has one companion, a doll, on one arm, and another companion, her dog, resting at her feet. I made a photo of the entire sculpture, but it didn’t turn out. The little pup looks sort of like the RCA dog. Thanks for the fun!
Scenes of the daily life in Düsseldorf are made in Concrete on the walls of a Tunnel in Oberbilk, Düsseldorf, capital of Northrhine Westfalia, Germany. My picture shows two people with a dog walking in the rain. The wall-memorial is located of the other side of the Tunnel from Ernesto G's one.

This statue shows the unbiased friendship between a boy and his dog. It is one of many statues scattered about the Southpoint mall in Durham, NC. There were not any plaques, so I inquired about the statues at the information desk. If my memory serves me correctly, the statues were made by "Art Design" in Lexington, PA specifically for the Southpoint mall.
The American Kennel Club DOGNY Project: In the wake of the tragedy our nation faced on 9/11/2001, many specially trained search and rescue dogs and their handlers diligently and tirelessly searched through the wreckage for injured victims and deceased loved ones. The American Kennel Club provided the financial support to secure food, shelter and supplies for these canine heroes and their handlers, as well as veterinary care. The DOGNY Project was established by The American Kennel Club to raise monies that would go into a permanent charitable fund named the AKC CAR Canine Support and Relief Fund. This fund will be available for the continued financial support of search and rescue dogs and their handlers wherever they are called to serve in the future. This bronze statue of the German Shepherd Dog mounted on Georgia granite, represnts the contribution of $25,000 to this fund by the Georgia Dog Clubs. It stands as a tribute to those dogs and handlers who have so valiantly served our country in the past, to those who will be called to serve, and reminds us that the dog is truly "Mans Best Friend".

This statue is of Just Nuisance which was the only dog enlisted in the SA Navy. This statue is situated in Simonstown, South Africa next to the naval base. He was the only dog to have a rank in the navy - Able seaman and he died at the age of 7 years.
I do not know the name of this statue. I placed a cache about 100 feet away a few weeks ago. It is labelled with a plaque but it is under the snow and it was too cold today to dig around. It is located in a small city park in Ames Iowa.

This is a memorial to two of my old hunting partners, Cass and Mo. Cass and Mo both had to be put down this last year. Cass was my first black lab, and Mo was her grandpuppy. Both were fine hunting dogs and I miss them a lot. I donated a sum of money this last summer to the "Clays for Kids" program at Birds Landing Hunting Preserve and was able to have this tile placed on a BBQ pit wall that is located on the grounds. There are actually several memorial tiles placed on the wall.
Forgot to log this one on a long day of caching. This statue is called "The Trade" and is located at the gates of First Monday Trade Days in Canton, TX. This is the largest and oldest flea market in the world. The statue is of two men trading the gun for the dog.
Found this man with his dog in the center of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. The plaque does not tell a lot, but it probably represents a geese shepard with his dog. There are still today many geese on the island.

Found this in Great Falls, Montana. It's just part of the Lewis & Clark display.
In May 1804 when Meriwether Lewis and William Clark set out from Camp Dubois to explore the uncharted lands west of the Mississippi River, they were accompanied by 27 men—and a dog. For 20 dollars Lewis had bought an “active, strong, docile†Newfoundland that he named Seaman. As the expedition paddled up the Missouri and plodded through the deep snows of the Rockies, Seaman remained Lewis’s constant companion, hunting game and alerting the men to approaching grizzlies and buffalo. But the dog paid a price: He was bitten by a beaver, stolen briefly by Indians, and suffered near starvation during a hard winter in the mountains. On July 15, 1806, a little more than two years after the start of the expedition, Lewis mentioned Seaman in his journal for the last time. They were on the trip home from the Pacific and Lewis was complaining about the mosquitoes: “The musquetos [sic] continue to infest us in such manner that we can scarcely exist…. My dog even howls with the torture he experiences.†Did Seaman suffer a fatal wound? Did he somehow get left behind? Did the Indians steal him again? What happened to Seaman remains a mystery.

Welcome to the All Pet Animal Clinic. This clinic is located in the north-central part of Fort Wayne, IN. And out front is Henry. The doctor that established this hospital had this statue created in the likeness of his boyhood dog, Henry. He now stands out by the street letting all animals know that they are welcome here.

Albuquerque, New Mexico, is in a year-long celebration of its tricentennial, having been founded in 1706. In front of the History Museum there are many new statues that depict Albuquerque's cultural heritage. This one is a shepherd with his staff, a lamb and, of course, his indispensable worker - the SHEEPDOG!

This figures are located in the Prater (http://www.wiener-prater.at/) in the 2nd district of Vienna, Austria. They were created by an artist whose name did not stay in my memory for a long time, luckily.
I understand that he wanted to express the importance of both, television and dogs, to humans. Both are fighting for the first place in the position of humans favourite list.

This is Bobbie. He was lost in Indiana back in the early 1900's while traveling with his owner. 6 months later he returned to his home in Silverton, OR which was 3000 miles away. There is a huge murial in town honoring his owners and Bobbie.

Saw this statue of a boy and his dog for about a week and kept forgetting the camera. Remembered today. This was spotted in a retirement village off Skeet Club Road in High Point NC. Thanks for the hunt.
These two dog statues are at a pet cemetery in Bothell, Washington. The first statue shows a dog holding an owner's hand basket. The second photo is actually next to a pet's grave. Although the photo might not show the detail, the dog statue is sporting a real collar. The displays of affection for the animals in the cemetery was very apparent and quite endearing. Thank you for maintaining this locationless cache for the past three years. Finding these memorials was very interesting.
Found this statue as I was doing another cache. This dog stands at a memorial that honors firefighters. Please see attached photos for more information regarding the memorial.

I call this one, LaCrosse's neo-modern Man with Dog. I didn't see an official name on it but once you see the picture, it fits. I was out looking for a physical cache and saw this. It is located in LaCrosse Wisconsin right across the street from where the UW-LaCrosse Eagles play football. TFTC.

This is the statue of Bobbie, the "Wonder Dog of Oregon". This statue is in the small town of Silverton, OR, not far from the smaller town of Mt. Angel where my parents now live and I recently visited.
Rexy and I were passing through on our way home, when I saw this statue and related the story to her. We both immediately thought of this locationless - so found a place to park, and hopped out and took the required photos. As a bonus, there was a cache less than 300' away (that's actually what brought us past the statue and memorial).
Bobbie was taken across country on a trip, and then disappeared - only to re-appear back here in Silverton some six months, and thousands of miles later. You can read the full story here:
http://www.silvertonor.com/murals/bobbie/bobbie_wonder_dog.htm
Dingo and I stopped and visited with Bobbie and checked out his castle. We've had our eyes peeled for one of these for AGES! Thanks.

This statue is on the grounds of Appalachian State University, in Boone, North Carolina. My wife and I took our son there because he's interested in attending that college when he graduates from community college next Spring. There was no placque to state who did the statues or whether it represented a real person, but to me it looked for all the world like a tribute to Daniel Boone and his hunting dogs.
This is a small dog by his men. This is a sausage-salesman and her dog. Ist in Alexanderplatz, Berlin, Germany.
I found this fellow at a flea market in Columbia, SC. He's been there for as long as I can remember, sitting out in the rain, sun, and (occasional) snow. I'm not sure if he's meant to keep the gnomes in the background company, or to guard the wrought iron that's leaning on him. At any rate, he's cute and has a gigantic nose.
