After a fun four days staying in Robe, its time for this gypsy to head back to the big smoke. After a lovely, relaxing wander around the park I stopped here on my way out and made the find. Now to continue my steady way back to the city.TFTC NiceNannies Keep smiling
Thanks for a great cache! Found reasonably quickly. What a beautiful peaceful spot!

Quick find with Gizmos Gang as we headed wayyyyy down South!!! Thanks for the adventure!! Lovely park!
May 18, 2024 3:37 PMWas going to do the Ad Lab nearby but was getting a bit late for the family to walk so far. So we settled for this bonus Trad instead ( I say bonus as I didn't notice it on the map earlier). Clever camo meant cache and log was found in good condition. Geodaughter wasn't impressed with all the spider webs in the box so couldn't be convinced to take a map! Tftc anyway!
Found at 2:19 PM GAFF1.After the previous cache which took a fair bit of time to find, we redeemed ourselves by finding this cache in the very first spot that we looked in [^]Now off for a walk in the park to do the A/L.Thanks to NiceNannies
Date: February 25, 2024 Time: 9:44 AMFind #14436After leaving Robe, I continued to head gradually northish finding a few caches on my way to Adelaide. Massive thanks go to NiceNannies for placing this one.
Found this whilst on a weekend away for a camping trip with gridge98, we went to Kingston SE, Robe and Cape Jaffa. Thanks for the cache.
A short walk into this one, cache was easily found and is all good. This weekend Courtneyrose_ and I headed away for a few days to Kingston S.E and surrounds for the local parkrun plus find a few caches and enjoy the weekend away, most of the logs books were signed with our names others signed as COCO. Thanks for the cache
Funny....first place I "looked" and didn't find. Searched around some more and finally looked in the open your eyes section. Yep there it was.Tftc
On the 14th of September, 2019, a youthful but slightly bored Otter googled geocaching. With 30 minutes he found his first cache, and the rest is history. As I commence my fifth loop of the calendar, Ive piled everything in the car and have no set agenda except to be back by the 20th. Should be fun.Pictured is me having a wildlife encounter with an adorable monotreme. Shortly after that photo I had a close encounter with a dangerous reptile, which shifted the mood of the afternoon. Adventure Lab abandoned! But I made a find here, so worth the adrenaline rush after all. And the attributes did warn me. Thanks for the cache NiceNannies.
Away for a couple of days with Featherwaite.
We concentrated on Kingston, Robe, Cape Jaffa, Beachport and Southend.
We mainly found all the cache we were looking for.
A quick find as we made our way through the park doing the Lab Cache.

The last log mentioned that the cache was no longer at GZ, it was raining slightly but hubby decided that he would go for the short walk to GZ. The cache is at GZ IPS. SL TFTC
Looked everywhere something magnetic could be and couldn’t find it. Another log reports finding it under the information box, it certainly isn’t there anymore. Had a bit of a look at the ground and couldn’t see it fallen off.
TFTC NiceNannies for your cache Butcher Gap Conservation Park that we found today. We left a showery Millicent this morning to head to Kingston SE for a few days. After setting up camp in the RV Park and having lunch we headed out to explore using caching and Adventure Labs as a guide. A nice afternoon exploring

I somehow managed to be lucky enough to win a great state voucher for $50 off accommodation. The idea being to put some money back into regional communities after the pandemic. Uni and Medusa and I went away for a caching trip around Kingston using the voucher to stay at the caravan Park. We spent lots of money on diesel and food so the voucher did it's trick.
We stopped and found this cache on the way.

Back in SA, caching around the area with out base being Millicent.
It was 2 years ago on the March long weekend we were last over here. (That was pre covid/lockdown days.)
We had a great time, back then, and when we got home it was only 20days later Vic went into full covid lockdown mode.
The world has changed somewhat since then, but caching still gets us out n about.
And it is kind of fitting that we are back here for a planned interstate caching trip to get us both back into an area we enjoy (not ta mention I always enjoy the SA caches n trails)
This trip we are both armed with some new gear for the new trails. And i had a few caches targeted to help achieve some challenges and stats.
Once again it was a great little break from the norm of life back home.
Today we toured from Millicent, hit the coast n made our way to Kingston SE. Then cached back to Robe, checked out some camping areas and finishing the day in Beachport with Ad Labs.

We are slowly making our way down from Adelaide to Portland concentrating on Adventure Labs but also picking up anything else that is close by. We spent the night in Meningie and are now heading towards Millicent.
Diane was on a phone call when we pulled up here so I headed off by myself and after completing the lab the phone rang on my way back and Diane had spotted there was also a trad in here. It would be great if they could get the two apps to work simultaneous. I had a guess at where it might have been located, it seems strange that the lab didn't start there. I was quite impressed when my guess was correct and even more impressed when the well hidden cache was found in the first place I looked. I'm happy to say that the log book now contains our name. Unfortunately it is very full and being in the company car we didn't have any spares.
Thanks NiceNannies for the cache.

All the Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
