Cache is wedged too tightly to retrieve, probably due to the altered landscape. Didn't sign. Didn't want to tug at cache for fear of recreating the 'Ice Age Acorn' opening scene! TYFTC
Quick find here with rattll and matagouri. Thanks for the placement and the smiley
Easter at Turangi with rattll and Watcache. After a couple of cooler days, the clear warm weather today is most welcome. Parked nearby, then a short walk to GZ for an easy find. All well in the container. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Day three of my Easter weekend in Turangi with matagouri and the watcache's. We've left the bikes behind today and are focusing on some drive by caches and some adventures on foot. This one was a quick find once we'd found the best way to access GZ.Thanks for putting this here
GPS was a bit flaky so I headed to the wrong tree and lots of blackberries. More caution and checking would have taken me to GZ without the obstacles
Don't recommend trying to follow the riverside track to/from the End of the Road cache. Barely walkable and definitely not a bike track.
*Good short trip away with woolwood9 finding some geocaches along the way!*We soon had the container located here and the log stamped. SL *tm/ww NZ*Thank you for the reason to visit this area. Nice short walk.
Heading north with tmann421 for a few days. This was day two with plenty of miles for us to cover.Enjoyed the hide here Signed log tm/ww NZTFTC
Having a couple days holiday in Trangi. After cold icy showers yesterday we are back to beautiful sunshine today. We have brought the bikes and enjoying a ride along the river and around the town. Thanks to all the CO s for the caches TFTC

God stemning hele veien.
Short walk with the dog . After a (dog) paddle in the river grabbed cache on way back . A tight extraction but all good .Thanks
It eventually stopped raining so thought it was a good excuse to find a cache, track was a bit slippery in patches but I managed to stay upright, tftc
Day 21 of caching streak. I was getting a little worried that I wasn't going to find one today, but here we are with cache in hand and log signed. Looks like a great spot for fishing
There were a few cars at the end of the road so we expected to meet a few fishing gurus. The only thing we saw was the cache exactly where it should be. TFTC

Back to this one after collecting the caches up the road, returning we saw the entrance and were glad that the rain had eased for the short stroll to GZ. Glad the cache had been secured with weight so that it had not washed away with all the recent rain in the area. TFTC

#11,641. I stayed overnight at my sisters place in Rotorua and now heading back to Wellington. There has been a lot of rain around Turangi in recent times and water levels are very high. There was river of water a foot deep flowing over SH1 in the swampy section north of the bridge. Had traffic crawling through this area. The road down here was full of large pot holes with water. Parked and glad I had my gumboots on as it was a series of ponds all the way to GZ. One of the large pine trees has recently been dropped on this track but it was clear access to the cache. All good although had mud on it. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Thanks FMZ for placing your cache here. This ones a bit further south than your one I did near Kaitaia a week ago.
Cache is safe and area is no longer blocked off. The outer container shows silt has been up and over it, but the inside is totally dry!
Good find on Mother's Day.
The cache is in an area that is taped off showing a few broken and one fallen right over the track further up.
Managed to spot the obvious at GL.
Log had 3 other signatures for this year last one logged on the 31st March.

A popular car park here, with good access to the river. Trackables are on their way! TFTC
Spending a week in Taupo, so a good excuse to pick a few caches along the way.

Nice little diversion down to here and stroll along the river side. Dropped 2 TBs here, Dog and Lanyard. All good and a quicker find than I thought it would be as I approached.
I have got a busy few days coming up, and am heading north to the Coromandel peninsula for the weekend with a work holiday home booked for this upcoming long weekend, including stat day on Monday. Then I'm heading home with mrs c for a couple of days leave followed by a couple of days WFH before heading back to Manawatu and my new job at the weekend. Not massive numbers of cache finds but a few to keep things ticking over and a surprising amount by Auckland based COs too! Thanks to all cache owners for their contributions.

Staying in Turangi for the night on our way south. Parked by the bridge and got in my bike to collect 4 cache along this”trail”. that followed the river. Got pretty stoney and narrow at times but managed to bike most of it. No problems finding this one. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
We we’re out and about in Turangi for the long weekend looking for a few caches. Arrived at the car park area and there were obviously a lot of fishermen around. Made our way to GZ for a quick find. Cache in good order. TFTC.
A nice quick find thanks. All quiet on the tracks, plenty of anglers in the river.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. It was a great weather most of today, well not wet and not windy! We were based around Turangi and mixed up the day with a bit af walking, biking and driving.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Another nice spot on the river to come to. No anglers here at the moment. Cache could be seen but the barbed guardian made it more interesting to access. Thanks for the cache funkymonkeyzone.
5 other vehicles parked here when we arrived.
nobody insight. easy walk to cache. just had to dodge around a few large puddles on way.
geo trail showing to cache. easy find

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... On an unplanned voyage of discovery. We came to have a nosy at a nearby watery cache and took some notes...
The two Adventure Labs emerged as our next targets. We progressed through these slowly because mobile coverage was patchy along the upper reaches of the Tongariro River. It was somewhere along the route that we made the decision to visit other caches on our lists... A few cars were parked in the vicinity, but the path to the cache was clear of people. We spotted an emerging geotrail to the cache, so this turned out to be a quick find. Thanks funkymunkyzone and TFTC.

A super quiet track, bit creepy really! Found the cache, got bitten by blackberry. Turned and ran home!
On our way to Turangi, me and rusty, caching along the way. we enjoyed walking down stream along side the river, rusty directed us, we took a sharp RH turn then another and we soon found the cache. Then we took the trail route back to my car. A FP FMZ for putting more caches out here in Turangi.
With gorby on a caching adventure South
Made our way along the track, avoiding the big puddle, although on the way back, gorby got snagged in a piece of blackberry!
Took the left fork, so we meandered our way along part of the river, then found the track to the cache. Gorby soon had the cache in hand, and the log was being signed.
Thanks FMZ for the hide, and for bringing us here. Took the more inland route back to the car

Quick find at GZ but access to this location is a different story. Especially after heavy rain. See attached picture.

Visiting a friend in the area. Good to see some new caches. Photo proof as I forgot my pen
Paid in blood with a few scratches from the undergrowth here but a pleasant walk down the riverside track was rewarded with the find. The very welcome hint and pinpoint coordinates helped limit the search area which would otherwise have been a nightmare in this rough environment.

A grey drizzly morning as we headed off along the track with gumboots and umbrellas but we hardly got wet. We haven't walked along here before so we were keen to see what fishing spots were hidden down here. A pleasant little walk and wished we had brought the rod for a quick cast into the rapids. Nice little spot for the cache and another FTF. Thanks for another NEW Cache, we really enjoyed our morning adventures. TFTC
