Twas not meant to be tonight. This was quite a good bus stop to hide a cache on as there were lots of potential places to hide one, but that just made it difficult to search all of them. Despite it being late at night when I came, two different buses pulled up at two different points - I stood away from the bus stop at these times and even went for a walk down the path to make it clear I wasn't getting on but they both insisted on sitting there for several minutes anyway. I looked both high and low as reading through some past logs suggested the cache was up high and there was a climbing aspect to it, which I did try at several points along the bus stop for different high vantage points, but still there was nothing. Maybe I'll return when I'm in a better head space for looking at this location. Thanks anyway

Waited for the GPS to settle and then spotted in a few seconds. Nice easy find.

This cache has one of the shorter diversions from a route that I regularly have to think about in regard to my daily streak cache. However, the nature of gz has put me off it for some time; although given it was sufficiently late this evening and a quick dinner option was nearby, I decided to finally make a visit on this occasion! It was also pretty chilly out which incentivised this quick find rather than something harder!I'd opted for a hot chocolate from the golden arches in response to the weather which was piping hot, so I took it with me outside which helped it cool slightly to a reasonable temperature. With no one waiting, I was able to scrutinise the structure more thoroughly than I imagine is possible at other times. It took a few minutes while I fixated on the wrong points of interest before I checked a much more traditional hiding spot and found the cache tucked away. The logsheet was signed and everything replaced as found. Thanks to ALL7 for hiding this one! Smile

With a chance to collect two souvenirs, The Drovers and I decided on teaming up for a trip to Canberra. This was a great idea as there wasn’t any ‘Magic Marker’ events near us and for me personally to find at least 21 caches for the ‘Winter Solstice’ souvenir. We manly focused on caches which were meant to be quick and easy finds to maximize our numbers for the day. The event was great fun too. Most caches found were quick and easy to find. However, there was a few which took a little longer to find. All found caches were **signed as 'JM&TD'**. We decided on mixing and matching the caches and this means a few revisits for either them or me. They ended up with 28 finds and I ended up with 31 finds plus a couple of DNF’s. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring the Geocaching community enjoyment. Big Grin TFTE and TFTC’s! Big Grin

With nice weather, it was a good opportunity to grab a few caches.
We found a nice variety of hides, and all in good condition.
Signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, ALL7, and for us and others to find.

#3785 DeadThief and I did need to wait for the bus. We had to wait for it to pick up the family awaiting its arrival. That moment finally came and passed and we swooped in for the find. Easily spotted on approach and DT attended to retrieval. Not where I expected to be looking but logged and replaced as found. TFTC ALL7!

# 8222 I'm here today for the Sri Chinmoy 100km running event. I'm not actually running, just supporting my partner iPlod65 who likes such events. This one took a bit of searching, in the end I stood back and spotted it.
Thanks ALL7

#1845

Found on a morning walk with jazzy3008 and small_fry_2021. We were heading past this area on our way home after getting an unhealthy morning tea (and justifying it by having a nice long walk) so decided to have a quick stop to pick up another cache. After a quick search the cache was in hand, then it was signed and returned, then we continued our walk home...

17-Apr-22
Went out for a "walk" with sumbloke and jazzy3008 to get some morning tea. We stopped off to pick up some caches both ways. Thanks for the cache.

fitzy_1965 and I headed into Canberra early today for a Community Celebration event.

Afterwards we picked up a few caches on the way home. This was one of them.

Thanks for the placement ALL7. All quiet here today.

27,341. Found with minniek after attending the nearby Community Celebration Event..

When we saw the Community Celebration Event 'Under The Bridge' published we knew we had to attend. Firstly because it was a Community Celebration Event ! Secondly because of the assault on the nearby High and Dry Traditional which otherwise we'd never have a chance at. So at an ungodly hour we woke up and set out from Goulburn down the black line to arrive at the parking location, then the brisk walk to GZ to wake us up proper. It was a fun event with bonus T5 Trad found. Afterwards we headed to Maccas for refreshments, and couldn't resist looking for this one. Waiting for a Truman Show Bus to head past, we started the search and quickly came up with the container. Interesting to see some muggles have found it, but just signed it and re-hid it. Awesome. We signed the log and replaced the cache as found.

Thanks ALL7 !!

Mrs Mister JD is again at an appointment, and I've just found the "Missing Link" cache. It took a while, but it was worth it. I just have time for an easy one before I go back to collect her, and this one was elected. I left the main drag and parked in a quiet street and made my way to the bus stop. I quickly spotted the cache, and just had to wait for gaps in the traffic to grab it and put it back. Thanks, ALL7.

03-Dec-21
Found on a caching run around Weston Creek in the heat. Parked nearby and wandered over where I soon spotted it. It then took a bit of time to find a gap between traffic to grab and replace the cache. TFTC ALL7!

Quick find on the way home from Barra Hill

12-Aug-21
Down south for an errand and extended to find some caches before the snap lockdown.
Quick find on the ground. A bit awkward as mentioned, might be taken away as garbage any time.

Thank you ALL7 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

08-Aug-21
Sitting on ground when I walked up. Popped it back kinda out of way. Not sure where original hiding spot was. Thanks for cache

01-Aug-21
A cheeky extra find before a planned walk. As mentioned by others the cache is on the ground, I tried but couldn’t really find a more suitable spot given that it is not magnetic.

Thanks for another cache ALL7!

25-Jul-21
As previous finders have noted, this cache is now on the ground and I suspect will be mistaken for rubbish soon (although I have tried to conceal it as best I could). Obviously an easy find at GZ, but would benefit from maintenance to replace wherever it's meant to be.

25-Jul-21
This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache.

17-Jul-21
On the ground. In a slightly better spot.might not last.

#11818 - 3:06:00 PM; The weather wasn't being kind today for me to grab some more caches for my daily calendar challenge. Decided to at least pick up a multi and maybe a couple of others to get the numbers needed down for next year! After collecting a multi and a DNF, parked close to GZ and started the hunt. Wasn't too optimistic after checking the logs, but in time the cache revealed itself and I was able to add my name to the log. TFTC ALL7 Smile

A lovely warm winter's day to be outside caching. As I was passing, with some time on my hands, I stopped here to try my luck. Cache soon found. TFTC.

Out to grab a nightly cache or two

Found on the ground behind the shelter. Not sure where it's supposed to be but with no camo or magnets it's gonna need some attention.

Sadly, today there was no long hike/cycling up any mountain as previously planned. Each of my four GeoPartners were either unwell, unavailable, family commitments or had other caching plans

Therefore, 'Plan E' swung into action! I decided to collect a handful of stray 'abandoned' caches in the burbs on my way to collect my Grandkids to take them cycling at Stromlo Park for the afternoon It turned out to be a win winas the Grandkids and I had a wonderful time together while their parents rested.

Finally, finally had the time to stop off today after passing this location sometimes 5 days a week. Quick and easy find with plenty of parking nearby. TFTC ALL7.

I've looked for this a few times and it didn't seem that it should be so hard, turns out it wasn't but just was missing, or the police were sitting here, or the hide had changed! A very helpful message from the CO had us back on track and even driving up to this in the way to late time of the night/morning it was even spotted from the car with our sights set in the right direction. Luckily dty was able to use the handy TOTT 'provided' to get to it as I had no hope!!! Thanks for the cahce and hint ALL7.

29-May-21
Aquilus1 and I came back to see if we could find this one now replaced. We even brought backup of a previous finder.

We went to where we thought the D/T would take us and the previous finder confirmed that’s where they found it. But to no avail.

After logging a dnf again, a message from the CO letting us know that the hide had changed made us go back after other duties were completed.

As we drove up to GZ Aquilus1 spotted the cache from the car. How did we miss that! Because we weren’t looking that high.

The T rating is no longer a 1.5 and if your as short as me - luckily there is a built in ladder at the bus stop. Thankfully doing this one just after midnight meant no one was around to really notice.

Thanks for help and Tftc ALL7!!!

Have looked for this a few times without any luck. Returned tonight with a previous finder but no cache to be found, either it's not in the old spot or it's missing?

Out with Aquilus1 on a wet and chilly night. Thankfully the rain stopped and so we jumped out of the warm car and began our search.

Had to paf and still couldn’t find it. Oh well. Will have to keep an eye on this one.

A quick'ish find this morning. TFTC

20-Dec-20
A bit tougher than a D1.5 as it is fairly well hidden and there are a lot of places to search, but we got there eventually spying the little bugger and getting our names in the log.

Thanks ALL7

Was spending the day with the FFLL ladies and we were nearby getting a drink and decided to give this one a crack.

Got about searching and FFLL#2 and I both went to the same spot with the same idea and gave ourselves a chuckle. Continued looking and I soon spotted something and it turned out to be the cache. A muggle came to the stop but took absolutely no notice of our antics lol

Log signed and cache replaced. Thanks for the cache placement ALL7 Smile

20-Dec-20
We decided to stop here after getting a drink nearby. A quick grab by Rapidlywild who spied something not quite right.

A muggle came and sat near us but didn't seem too concerned about what we were doing nor do I think they even noticed us with our fooling around.

Thanks for the hide ALL7

Found.
What a nice place to sit and watch the world go by.

After the even I joined Barb2e and Smttengranny to do a bit of tree climbing and fishing. We visited some caches I had been to before, but I did manage to get three new ones. Barb2e had missed this one on a busy work day, so today we though we could do it without getting muggled out. The stop was clear and it did not take too long to locate, but just as we finished, a polite bus driver stopped to pick us up, even though we did not wave.

Thanks for the cache ALL7
