Find#2930Another gorgeous day out geocaching with Techsavvy9 today. This was our last cache of the day and a nice easy walk along the track to GZ however it did take a bit of searching before the cache was in hand. log and cache is in great condition Such a clever hide TFTC Team737
TFTC and a nice find after waiting for muggles to pass. Thank goodness it was coolish walking along the track as it was rather warm today while geocaching with Deni_f. This was our last cache for today and a nice way to finish off the day. I found 15 and Deni_f found 10. He was kind enough to take me to some caches he had found but I hadnt. Thank goodness we didnt have any dnfs.
So hard to not be seen by muggles! I waited for some to leave then out of no where some people came into the area. Took me a moment to work out the hint as I was coming at it from the wrong direction. But once I came from a different direction I found the cache. Very clever camo. Another find for Cosmic Quest and for my current streak, so TFTC Team 737.
I checked on this one today its a great spot for a walk the cache is present though.
Parked and walked from Whitebridge station.Tried for about 30 minutes using the gaps between muggles.Checked both sides very carefully but could not find. Will try again. Thanks for the cache!
Out caching today around the Newy area, focusing on clearing up some areas where Ive found all the other caches, and exploring Blackbutt reserve. Snack situation: optimal- Doughheads pink doughnut Step count: 16000Weirdos spotted: lots of whiny muggle children, and lots of children calling the animals the wrong things at blackbutt reserve Im sorry but if your child identifies the little nocturnal bandicoot things as cockatoos. You cant be offended if I laughEnd of cut and pasteOh wow this one was fun. I have a cache that is very similar and appreciate a good hunt.Have A FPTFTC
Well my wife had a "bright" idea of going up to the fernleigh track and running a half marathon. Yep that's 21.1 freaking kilometres. Turns this cache was right at the half way point of our run, so I found this cache whilst catching my breath. I clearly didn't expect to finish the run as I came prepared and was running with a pen in my pocket in case I had the geocache my way back to the car, but surprisingly i/we survived the whole journey. Really great camo! An enjoyable find for sure!TFTC!!!
Attempted this one at night for less chance of muggles around, Awesome camo we added a mini sticker and signed the log tftf
Doing Fernleigh track on the bike and grabbing a couple caches on the way. A nifty find here! TFTC 737!
TFTC! Clearing the whole Fernleigh Track today on bike. Team Foy. Aria and Jason.
On a bike ride caching adventure with the Foy Family and BradStorch. Great hide, enjoyed this one enough for a fav
We are heading up the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
Out grabbing a few on our bike, around this area while staying nearby. The container was found after a short search in between muggles.
Thanks lee737 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

I'm just loving riding the Fernleigh Track. What a gem this is.
Out and about with Rama497 and Skybomonkeytown.
This is my second time riding the track as I enjoyed it a few weeks ago following the GCNSW event.
Well this one took some effort to find. 5 adults and 2 kids on the hunt. In the end, it was one of the kids, a newbie I might add, that actually located the hide. Well done to young A.
I'll be back. I want to ride this track again!!!
Thanks for hiding this cache Team737.

This one kept us looking for ages, whilst also looking at the many users of the track and the kids! After I discounted something with a bit of movement, the young Angus found it! On his first day of geocaching too, what a champ. Blends in very well here.

Today Calypso62, SkyMonkey and I made our way up from Sydney to Adamstown by train to ride our push bikes down the Fernleigh Track to Belmont and then ride around Lake Macquarie to Booragul train station for the return journey home.
This one had us searching for awhile, but we found you.

After attending the Fernleigh event organized by Geocaching NSW, it was time to mount our bikes and cycle our way from Adamstown to Belmont. It was a slow descending track, and the dedicated bicycle path over the former railroad track made for a very enjoyable ride, and we could enjoy the nature around the track.
After lunch at Lake Mac, it was time to cycle back to Adamstown. But slowly uphill with head wind proved to be quite tiring.
To release out aching muscles we stopped for a few caches along the way.

A clever play on words here. Sweetmanda, Meritonnn and I got to GZ easily and then had a look around. The hint initially didn't make too much sense, but then things began to fall in place. I thought I had spotted something likely to be a cache, but I needed a tool to get my grubby hands on it. Fortunately, Meritonnn had all the right equipment, and a suitable tool did the trick. Yes, this was the cache. And in hindsight, the hint and the cache all make perfect sense. I just love that sort of thing!
After attending a nearby GCNSW gathering, it was time to mount my under-utilised mtb for a few hours of caching along this wonderful stretch of ex railway. Meritonnn had advised me of this event some time ago, and I saw it as a perfect opportunity to get out and about. When the gathering had concluded, Meritonnn and I retrieved our bikes and headed to the trail. I was really looking forward to experiencing this trail. We soon linked up with another, Stefanoodle, and we teamed up to hit the trail.
After a muddy but fun detour to find another well hidden puzzle, we gathered our bikes and pushed back to the main track. After a few minutes we arrived at the quirky structure where the description and hint made sense, with a look here, a look there, and then there it is! Nice bit of camo there! We all had our names logged, and we moved on.

In the area today to attend the GCNSW Fernleigh Fun Ride event, cycling along this lovely track for the first time with Sweetmanda and Stefanoodle and grabbing some caches along the way. Another nicely constructed and well placed cache from Team737! We managed to find this one a little quicker than the last thankfully TFTC!
I haven't been on this part of the track before. South and north of here, but not this stretch. I had it figured before i got here, but nothing moved. Searched the other side, searched this side again. Nothing. Gave the hint a peek, OK. Oh, this one does move. I think i have seen one of these before. TFTC.
We got to GZ tonight, only found a number of spiders and almost gave up. Then we had another look at the hint and realised what it meant, then found it straight away. TFTC!
I went for a walk to check this one... it was pretty seized, and took some extraction.... it has been rehidden, and given bigger lodgings.... please be careful to replace where you got it, no need to hammer it in.... coordinates around 3m, logsheet in good condition
I had visited this one a couple of times last year, so it felt great to finally have this one completed. This is a really cool spot on the track, so thanks for bringing me here. Luckily the muggles weren't too busy this evening in this spot. TFTC!!! Well hidden. #1836
Found at 1:15 PM GAFF1.
I thought I knew where to look and what to look for, but I missed it on the first pass and so I started to search in a slightly different manner, which of course ended up with no cache. So I went back to the first thought and there it was - just missed it as it was slightly different than the others.
Thanks lee737.

Shortly after slumbering we exercised our muscles and brains and came across this treasure. A truly lovely morning for an early morning walk. Nicely made cache.
Found on an afternoon walk. Waited till the peak challenge reset before logging. I had tried to find this one before and even though I suspected where it would be I never managed a find. Today I found it instantly. This cache also completes my wonders of the world. TFTC
I guessed the pun in the cache name about halfway through the walk approaching the cache, and I had a little chuckle. I also guessed what the camoflauge would be soon after arriving at GZ, but my eyes glossed over it twice during the search and I didn't notice it at all. I'm not sure if that says more about the quality of the hide or the quality of my eyes...
In the nearby bush I spotted some pipe painted with a camo pattern and had the number 14 on it. Not sure what it's about, but it sure is interesting.
Thanks for the cache Team737

I parked near the track and we took the walk to GZ in a freezing wind. Fortunately cyclists were rare but we were passed by 2 older people on skateboards. At the search area the GPS was quite definite where we should look, but even with a good idea of what to look for it still took a while to come up with the find. Thanks 737s for a very good hide, loved the container.
We rode past the cache yesterday... must have been too focused on the newly installed cycling app. So today, along with about 30,000 others, we rode the Fernleigh Track again. It was a real achievement to time finding the cache when noone was passing through. Great hide! TFTC lee737.
Find No: 8240. Another one bites the dust! Now I understand the name, love it, gets a favorite, was about to PAF but found the little beast at the last minute, thanks for the cache lee737!!

working on clearing the last of the T1.5"s from my 50k zone, I only have about 10 left not counting the sydney ones. My daughter and I set out this morning to find some but the weather abandoned our plans after lunch, We still had a nice morning though and enjoyed the short walk to this one. I searched the area around GZ first and then expanded only for my daughter to find the sneaky hide a few minutes later. Very well done. Fav point worthy . Thanks for the cache Team737 tnln replaced as found sl

Leaving my car at Belmont, I set off up the Fernleigh Track on the MTB, completing the *Tracks of the Past* AL and bonus before continuing along (and up) to this one. With the noreaster strengthening, it was a bit of a battle at times but once I reached the top of the climb it wasn't too bad.
My initial search of GZ didn't reveal anything so I messaged the CO for an additional nudge, but unfortunately the hiding place he directed me to was empty. "Bugger," he said as he started mulling over how he was going to replace it, but before heading off to log my DNF I thought I'd give the area one last search. Now knowing what I was looking for, I spied the cache lurking in a different location to where it was meant to be. Relief all round!
With the log signed and the cache returned to its proper abode, I turned the bike around for the pleasant ride back down the hill, with the almost gale-force wind now at my back. I'm glad I didn't leave it for later in the day!
Many thanks for enticing me out on an enjoyable bike ride as well as for this challenging hide and well-crafted container. This is certainly one I won't forget in a hurry so have a well-deserved FP.

First day out geocaching. Unfortunately didn't find this one, but determined to go back out and have another look after being given another hint.
What a cheeky little hide. Fortunately it was what we thought it was but I still touched it twice before I snagged it!
A great chance to test the girls new roller blades and find a cache! FP for a clever container! TNLN TFTC

Took about 10 minutes before I had the sneaky devil in hand. Thanks Team737 for this tricky cache. Worth a fav point.
Nothing planned for the day, but the weather wasn't the greatest... but Thusbruv_sqrd and I made the trek to make the find. Great camo, and you're right, muggle central. TFTC

Having just completed my run this morning very near Fernleigh Track, I was still in the area when this one came online. Looking at the map I actually had a pretty good idea what the cache was going to be, and once I was at GZ, sure enough it was exactly what I had thought it was. Very nicely hidden and in a good spot to be shielded from muggles as well.
