Logs
Out today for a caching day and a drive, came home via this road and this cache.TFTC
TftcI searched every possible spot around gz. And because I didn't want to be hung with a DNF, I broadened my search. Just as I was turning back to the car, I spied what I had been searching for. Phew, no hanging happening here.
TFTC I am only the second person to sign this log. Both the container and log are in perfect condition.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a few days in Grafton. It was after lunch before we set off to explore using Geocaching as our guide.TFTC Baby Birt
Our first cache! Thank you. Kids had fun. We regularly drive past this point so to think this has been hiding here all there years!!Ps - Just to let you know o-ring has perished and scroll is quite wet, but still legible.
TEMBO! and I managed a stop to visit the cache. At the time we arrived, a lot of traffic was arround. Thanks to Baby Birt for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1
With a long weekend in front of me and a challenge cache in Brisbane on the radar it seemed a perfect opportunity to good to miss to not head south and chase the caches i need to successfully claim the cache. After spending the night in Coffs Harbour woke early and started the hunt for local caches with a view of working my way back towards Brisbane.I found a safe place to park the car and made my way to ground zero where the cache was quickly located. The log was removed and signed and replaced the cache safely in its hiding place.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Were staying in Grafton overnight, so decided to spend the afternoon doing this series. TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it
Heading back to Queensland after a week of Fat Bike riding at Minnie Waters. Picked of a series of caches along the route.
Making our way home the scenic way and finding some caches on the way. This took a minute as my co ords were out at first . Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
Once again, we parked across the road, I guess that's what cones of doing the series in reverse, although thus sint exactly the M1, so it hasn't been an issue so far.
We found the cache without any major problems, but signing the log proved a bit trickier. The table we chose was home to some very active ants who came out and went all over the log, our arms, and our legs.
Thanks for the cache!

Coongoola & Geodog are on an adventure after attending the Townsville Mega event in Qld. We found your cache today 12 June 2022 12:22 pm , while enjoying another day out adding to our tally. TFTC Baby Birt
We started looking one end and gradually worked our way along until Mrs Herbz suddenly spied it. All good here. We are enjoying the country roads keeping off the highway. TFTC Baby Birt
Nice easy find. Happy to be cruising over the freeway enjoying the drive n not on the freeway whizzing past all of this lovely scenery. Thnakyou
Fantastic trail on the back roads i love to take.
This time i am bike touring south and decided to see how long it would take to ride and search for 17 geocaches. It was only about 40kms but took me 7hrs and almost all my phone battery. Experiment complete, i will now be more conservative with my geocaching, while touring.

Found at 11:01 AM GAFF1.
Meandering around these roads that we have not been on before following interesting caches and this one was excellent in the "parking close and safely to GZ" category Spotted the cache from a distance after looking at a few other locations.
Thanks Baby Birt.

Thanks Baby Birt.
have some time off this afternoon so headed out with the geodog to find some caches, we both like wandering the back country roads. he isn't so keen on getting out for each cache, but he likes to watch from afar. I walked over to the general GZ with preconceived ideas about the placement, they were misplaced .....However I soon found the container and was soon on my merry way. tftc
Grafton Day 2
We have now settled into the Greyhound Racing Club at Grafton for a few days.
This morning we continues the BRS trail of caches. There were a number of others we included in our list of to do as we passed by. This was a very pleasant scenic drive around a large area of farming land.
Thankyou Baby Birt for placing this cache.

Have had a fantastic few days caching in and around Grafton and decided to head north again when making our way home to finish off this trail that I started two years ago and never got around to finishing. Happy to finally have the whole trail full of yellow smilies now.
Very interesting bit of roadwork around here this is my first time through since the new road opens so enjoying the drive. TFTC
Out and about caching today around the countryside, while visiting from Brisbane. Today found a number of caches and thank you to the CO for their placement. TFTC Baby Birt
Our second full day in Grafton and staying mostly around town - luckily we did because a storm blew through around lunch time and no more caching for the day!!! Thanks to the COs for placing these caches to enhance the enjoyment of caching - it is greatly appreciated for your time and effort.
Better luck today. Found this cache as quickly as we walked to GZ. Thankfully! We were so over our lost mojo yesterday with only 1 find out of 4. Anyway we are thankfully and happily logging this as our first find in 2021. Now off to the tomato stall just north of GZ. They are well worth the stop.
Cheers and Happy New Year!!
